Today, we bring to you a special throwback of a heroine…..
Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya!
She was a blessing and her legacy; still a blessing, now and always!
…..and so we were awashed in emotions, over her passing, one which we consider untimely, but yet we are glad that our generation witnessed such greatness and we are happy that her works and life still speak years later.
Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya lived an outstanding life, an exemplary live and was admired by many.
Generations shall call to rememberance, her great work in impacting lives through the light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya was born on the 12th of September, 1960 and passed on to glory on the 11th of December, 2005.
Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya was a Nigerian Pastor and a Televangelist.
She studied History and Archaeology at the prestigious University of Ibadan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Odukoya proceeded to working at the National Theatre Lagos, where she later resigned to full-time ministry as the wife of The Fountain of Life Church’s Founding Pastor, Taiwo Odukoya.
Odukoya spent her life modelling to us what it meant to have our lives consecrated to Jesus and preaching in His name.

Particularly committed to leading men to enjoying and basking in the fullness of godly relationships, she Founded: “Singles and Married”, an award-winning TV programme.
Touching testimonies across the country coupled with her passion for building virtuous women led to the birth of ‘Discovery for Women’.
As a gifted writer, she was a frequent feature in magazines and had a number of columns added to her writing purview across National and International magazines including the Leadership and Lifestyle Magazine in UK.
She was a regular speaker within and outside the Country, spreading the message of Christ with many books to her name _including; ‘165 questions to ask’ and ‘how to choose a life partner’ amongst others.

She was a blessing!
Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya was one whose epitaph should read: “a purpose-driven life”.
With so many awards, laurels and honours as recognition for all the work God wrought through her ministry and even posthumously.
Odukoya reminds us that we do not live truly if we live for just ourselves.
A few of her awards include: Post Humous Award presented by Colostrum International, NGO on a breastfeeding project, in recognition of the passion that shaped her vision to model the universal family as a unit of nations, Post Humous Award for Excellence presented by Treasure Vault Integrated Services Nigeria Ltd., in recognition and appreciation of her commitment to the inculcation of godly virtues in youths and the social development of the family institution through the Single & Married program; An honorary Doctorate degree in Philanthropic Management from the United Christian University, Denton-North Carolina, USA.
So you would understand why on December 11 2005 when Odukoya was called to be with the Lord after the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash, many wept.
But we are inspired by the legacy she left and comforted by the Word of God.
