EVERY PROPHECY FROM GOD IS ASSURED THAT IT WILL COME TO PASS
AS SURE AS DAY FOLLOWS NIGHT, THE PROMISE OF GOD CONCERNING YOUR LIFE WILL BE FULFILLED!
WHEN YOU MAKE A VOW TO GOD PAY QUICKLY AS PROOF THAT YOU ARE A PERSON OF INTEGRITY
THE LAW OF HARVEST IS SO SOLID BECAUSE IT IS BACKED BY THE INTEGRITY OF GOD
SOW EVEN IN FAMINE SO THAT GOD CAN FULFILL HIS PROMISE OF ABUNDANCE FOR YOU
ISAAC DID NOT REVERSE THE BLESSINGS HE PLACED ON JACOB EVEN AFTER HE DISCOVERED HIS DECEPTION – INTEGRITY
GOD’S COVENANT WITH DAVID PRESERVED A TRIBE OF ISRAEL TO DAVID’S LINEAGE
BE LIKE GOD YOUR FATHER. BE A MAN OR WOMAN OF INTEGRITY
GOD IS A COVENANT KEEPING GOD. WHEN GOD HAS PROMISED, IT IS A SETTLED MATTER
GOD OPERATED WITH DAVID BASED ON HIS COVENANT BUT HAD NO COVENANT SAUL
GOD REJECTED KING SAUL BUT REMAINED FAITHFUL TO DAVID DESPITE HIS SINS
I BOUGHT A TICKET THAT I COULD NOT AFFORD IN ORDER TO KEEP MY PROMISE
YOU MAKE A PROMISE, YOU MUST FULFILL YOUR PROMISE
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN, YOU MUST BE A PERSON OF INTEGRITY NO MATTER WHAT IT’S GOING TO COST YOU
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN, IF YOU SWEAR TO YOUR HURT, YOU MUST NOT CHANGE
A CHILD OF GOD MUST BE A MAN AND WOMAN OF INTEGRITY
IN THE LIFE OF A TRUE CHILD OF GOD THERE’S NOTHING CALLED GREY

As we continue with our series, “TO WHOM THE HEAVENS OPEN (Part 46).” Joshua 9 – we should read the whole passage but I will read from verse 17-19, at the appropriate time. Church Gist. After the victory at Ai, after Joshua had wiped out Ai, some kingdoms nearby – the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perrizites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, including King Gibeon, gathered together and said, “wait o, this man who is coming we can’t beat him and if you can’t beat them, join them. Let’s use wisdom here o, strength is not going to prevail. Let’s go to these people and make an alliance with them…” – Joshua 9:1-16.

Joshua 9:17-19. This is a story that has a lot to say to you as a Christian about something called Integrity. A child of God must be a man and woman of integrity. What do you mean by integrity? It simply means your yea must be your yea, your nay must be your nay. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 1:17 – you don’t change what you have agreed upon. In the life of a true child of God there’s nothing called grey – white is white and black is black. Psalm 24:3-4. If you want to make it to Heaven, if you swear to your hurt, you must not change. You made a promise and then you discover after you made the promise, “ah, I made a mistake!, no, you must keep that promise.

There are some of us Christians, when we say we are coming, people if they know us will say, “well, when we see you then we know you have come” which is very very sad. You make a promise, you must fulfill your promise. Church Gist. Years ago, one of my daughters abroad was turning 50 and a year before she had told me and I had said, “Okay, when you are 50,” because she said, Daddy, that’s the only thing I want in my life. I want you to be present at my 50th birthday. I said sure, I will come. I didn’t ask, what was the date and then, on the Friday before the day it was going to be a Sunday, “Daddy, when are you arriving?” I said, arriving where? “Arriving for my 50th birthday. My 50th birthday is on Sunday.” That was Holy Ghost Night which means if I am going to be there on that Sunday, I have to travel on Saturday. I had to buy a ticket that I couldn’t afford because all planes were full, there was only one seat that was empty – it was first class. Church Gist. But I had promised because I remember I said, yes, I will come. I arrived at the Airport, I had to go straight from the Airport to the venue. I had promised.

You want to make it to Heaven, you must be a man and woman of integrity no matter what it’s going to cost you. Church Gist. Once you have made a promise, you must fulfill it. Joshua 9:19.

Child of God consider your father God, he’s a covenant keeping God. Deuteronomy 7:9; 2 Corinthians 1:20. When God has promised, that is a settled matter. Numbers 23:19. Once he has spoken, it’s settled. Church Gist. Romans 3:4, Psalm 119:89. I am sure you have seen several streets in your town whose name have been changed. They give a name to your street, then they find somebody who is superior to you and they change the name of the street. That’s why we thank God that our names are written in the book of life in Heaven – a new government cannot come and change that one. Psalm 33:8-9. When he speaks he stands firm; God is a God of integrity which will explain to you the quick action he took in Joshua 7 and 8 because you may not understand fully why as soon as Joshua fell on his face, “ah Lord, what am i going to do?” Church Gist. He came. Not only did he come, he told him what to do so that he can win the battle; why? Because he remembered he said in Joshua 1:1-9, “I am going to be with you like I was with Moses.” Okay, you have messed up, yea, because remember I told you at that time, you want to prosper, the word must not depart from.your mouth. Remember I told you, but I make a covenant. Church Gist. You have caused me pain by stealing, by taking what I said is not yours, but please do this for me so that my covenant can stand.

Or you can go a little deeper and consider David. You know we mentioned David last week, we spoke about all the terrible things he did but remember 1 Samuel 16:1-13. Acts 13:20-22; 2 Samuel 11 – David messed up big time, brought sorrow, pain to the heart of God. But God cannot say… “how am I going to say I didn’t find a man after my heart who will do all my will? I said so.” Church Gist. That’s why you will read in 2 Samuel 12:1-13, as soon as the man of God said to him (David) you’re the man, David himself had already passed judgment on himself, “that man who did that one is going to die.” “You’re the man” David said, okay, I am done for. Immediately! (Laughs) “God said, thank you jare for making it easy for me to keep my promise.” “God has also taken away your sin.” Ah ah! So quick? King Saul didn’t do one-third of what David did and God said, “you’re rejected.” Why? Because it wasn’t God who chose Saul, it was the people who said they wanted a king. So, they wanted a king? He gave them a king. You know if he messes up, we move him out of the way. Church Gist. But in the case of David he said, I have found a man who will do all my will. But when he messed up he said, we will take care of that. You will be punished o but we will continue as friends.

Consider also in 2 Samuel 7:1-16. So when Solomon messed up full time, that boy had so many wives, so many concubines, so many idols, the Almighty God said, “ah! I promised David o that there will always be a ruler in his line.” Church Gist. God said in 1 Kings 11:11-13 – integrity. Like father like son – be like your father, be like God. Be a man or woman of integrity.

Genesis 27:1-33. Jacob deceived his father, got the blessing that should belong to Esau, when he father discovered the mistake he had made the Bible said, he trembled violently. “Ah! I have made such a terrible mistake.” But you know what he said, I have blessed him and he shall be blessed – integrity. Church Gist. Don’t forget that Isaac had the ability, he was still alive o, to rain curses upon Jacob. “Jacob you did this to me your father? You deceived me?” and then he can begin to say, this is what will happen to you, your children will do this to you… No no no! Man of integrity said, “I’ve blessed him and he shall be blessed.” Even when Esau now said, “have you only one blessing? Can’t you give me something?” He said, I have already made him your Lord.

Consider Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:9-20, “God give me a son and I will give him back to you.” Didn’t she? She did. 1 Samuel 1:21-28. Remember those few years when she was nursing the child, “ah, at long last I have a baby that I too can carry about,” ehn but she made a promise. Church Gist. Of course you know the result, God gave her extra 5 children. Ecclesiastes 5:4-5. When you make a vow to God pay quickly quickly. Prove to be a man or woman of integrity.

I will take you one little step deeper: out of this thing we call integrity of God comes the law of harvest. Galatians 6:7. The law of harvest is so solid because it is backed by the integrity of God that God himself operated that law. How? John 3:16. Church Gist. The Bible said, God has only one begotten son but he wanted many children. He applied the law of harvest so that according to Romans 8:29, the reason he sowed the Lord Jesus Christ is so that he can become the first born of many brethren.

So I am advising you, based on the integrity of the Most High God, sow even in famine so that God can fulfill his promise of abundance for you. Genesis 26:1-14; Genesis 22:15-18. God had made a promise – “Isaac, I will multiply you.” Church Gist. So when the famine came in Genesis 26 and Isaac was about to move, God said, “you didn’t need to move to anywhere, stay where you are. Let’s work together – you sow and I will prosper you so mightily- even a nation will become envious of you.”

Let’s conclude: have you any prophecy from God? I want to assure you it will come to pass. Church Gist. Habakkuk 2:3 – why? God is a God of integrity. He promised Abraham, “you will be the Father of many nations.” Time passed by, nothing seems to be happening. He said, don’t worry, I’m still the Almighty God. I can use my resurrection power to bring even the dead back to life. Romans 4:17-20. Consequently, I have good news for all of you who are true children of the Most High God, according to Psalm 30:4-5, “weeping may endure for a night, joy will come in the morning.” Church Gist. As sure as day follows night, the promise of God concerning your life will be fulfilled.

That’s why if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, you can see why I keep on crying to you, “surrender your life to Jesus,” do so because you are missing a lot by not surrendering your life to him. Church Gist. There’s a lot you can get from God who is a God of integrity.
