10th February, 2022: Bishop Peter Awelewa Adebiyi passes unto glory. Bishop Peter Awelewa was a former Anglican Bishop of diocese of Owo, Ondo state (1993-1999) and diocese of Lagos West before his retirement in 2013. As Bishop of Owo diocese, he established a secondary school and a palm kernel plantation that still generates income for the diocese till date. Bishop Adebiyi as Bishop of Lagos West diocese was able to grow the number of Parishes from 100 to 300 and also established a hospital.

10th February, 1751: John Wesley, in his late forties, suffers a fall in the middle of ice-coated London Bridge and was carried to the home of nurse Mary Vazeille. They were married within a week.

10th February, 1973: Under the dictatorship of Idi Amin, Christians are shot in a stadium in Kabale, Uganda.
