19th June 325 A.D: Bishop Hosius announces the updated Nicene Creed. He was a delegate at the Council of Nicea. The Creed was updated to reflect the deity of the Holy Spirit and it was a response to the teachings of Arius, a clergyman who denied the divinity of the Son, the Second Member of the Trinity.
