23 May 1993: Pastor David Abioye is consecrated as Bishop in Maiduguri, Borno State Nigeria at age 32 years and 2 months. He is the First Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide and the youngest person to be consecrated as a Pentecostal Bishop in Nigeria.

23 May, 1937: John D. Rockefeller goes to be with the Lord at 97. He was America’s First billionaire and a devout Northern Baptist who supported many Church-based institutions.

23 May, 1498: Girolamo Savonarola goes to be with the Lord. He was an Italian Dominican friar and Preacher known for the destruction of secular art and culture and his calls for Christian Renewal.
