23rd September 1931: Three Missionary delegates: Pastors D.P. Williams, A. Turnbull and W.J. Williams arrive in Lagos Nigeria from Pennygroes, United Kingdom to meet a vibrant fellowship from the Oke Ooye Revival formerly referred to as the Faith Tabernacle Congregation in order to establish The Apostolic Church (TAC) Nigeria. The group later splintered into both the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and TAC.

23rd September 1973: Yoido Full Gospel Church holds the Dedication Service for its newly built 12,000 capacity sanctuary with 18,000 people in attendance.

23rd September 1978: The Apostolic Bible College is established in Bodo, Rivers State, Nigeria with 15 pioneer students. The Apostolic Bible College (later upgraded to the Apostolic Church Theological Seminary) is the Bible School of The Apostolic Church Nigeria. 

23rd September 2021: Pastor Yohanna Shuaibu is martyred by Islamic militants in Kano, Nigeria. He was the Lead Pastor of New Life Gospel Church Kano.
