25th June, 2022: Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State signs an Executive Order for the compulsory installation and use of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) in all public and private institutions, including Churches. The order was released weeks after the killings in a Catholic Church in Owo, his hometown on 5th June, 2022.
25th June, 1865: English missionary J. Hudson Taylor forms the China Inland Mission. Its missionaries would have no guaranteed salaries, nor could they appeal for funds; they would simply trust God to supply their needs. Furthermore, its missionaries would adopt Chinese dress and press the Gospel into the China interior.
25th June, 1962: In the ruling Engel v. Vitale, the United States Supreme Court bans official prayers in public schools on a case brought from New York, saying that such prayers are unconstitutional as a violation of the separation of church and state.
