26th January, 1980: The CRM established by Pastor Enoch Adeboye which is now one of the most important and influential parachurch groups in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) acquired a formal status with the name “Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.” It is the evangelical arm of the RCCG.

26th January, 2020: Pastor David Ibiyeomie led Salvation Ministries – Home of Success commenced running seven (7) services. All the services were interpreted simultaneously in Hausa, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese, Italian and Dutch.

26th January, 1968: Pastor Chris Abraham is born. 26th January, 2023: Apostle Jerry Hinjari was martyred by unknown gunmen. His residence was invaded on Wednesday 25th of January, 2023 where he was abducted and murdered in an unknown location. His lifeless body was found the next day. He was the founder of Christ Nation International, Yola. He was aged 24.

26th January, 1976: Thomas Tyrone ‘Tye’ Tribbett is born. He is an American Gospel music artiste, songwriter, keyboardist and a choir director.

26th January, 1970: Kirk Dewayne Franklin is born. He is an American Gospel artiste, choir director, songwriter and author.
