29th November 1987: Rhema Chapel International Churches is formally inaugurated in Olufunmilayo Conference Hall, Circular Hotels, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. It is the Church arm of the Ever Increasing Word Ministries. Rhema Chapel was founded by Reverend George Olawale Adegboye.
29th November 1983: Pastor David Oyedepo while in fellowship with some brethren in Kaduna, Nigeria sees a vision of ‘an army rising’ as they worshipped God from Joel 2. Today, we have seen the rise of Ministries, men and women who are taking their world by storm and doing exploits for the Kingdom.
29th November 1780: The Congregational Church of Connecticut, United States of America licenses Lemuel Haynes to preach. Haynes became the first black Minister to pastor a white Church as he was made the Pastor of the First Congregational Church, Torrington, Connecticut, United States of America. He passed on to glory at the age of 80.
29th November 1898: Christian Author and Theologian, Clive Staples Lewis is born in Belfast, Ireland. He grew up as an atheist until he embraced Christianity in his early 30s. He authored several books including ‘Mere Christianity’, ‘Miracles’, among others. He passed on to glory at the age of 64.
