29th December 2013: President Goodluck Jonathan and his entourage worshipped in Apostolic Faith Church, Abuja branch.

29th December 1876: Philip Paul Bliss goes to be with Lord. He was a singer, songwriter and the composer of the popular hymn “It is well with my soul.” He passed on with his wife Lucy Jane Young in a train wreck caused by a bridge col­lapse. 

29th December 1991: President Frederick Chiluba of blessed memory issues a statement declaring Zambia as a Christian Nation. On 29th December, 2021, the United Party for National Development (UPND) led Government reaffirmed Zambia as a Christian Nation as the Nation celebrated 30 years of the declaration. 

29th December 1851: The first ever Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in the United States was opened in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
