5th October 2019: John Samuel Mbiti goes to be with the Lord. He was an ordained Anglican Minister and Philosopher. He was known for translating the New Testament Bible from the original Greek Language to his native Akamba Language which allowed members of his community to understand the Gospel.Â
5th October 1703: Jonathan Edwards is born. He was an American Preacher and Revivalist. His popular Sermon was ‘Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God’.

5th October 2020: Professor Christopher Odetunde becomes the Vice Chancellor of Augustine University Ilaro (AUI), Epe Lagos State, Nigeria. The School is a Private University owned by the Roman Catholic Church.
