7th November 2009: The Most Reverend Margaret Ekhoe Benson-Idahosa, JP, OON, is elevated to the position of Archbishop in Church of God Mission International. She became the Presiding Bishop of the Ministry after her husband and the founder Archbishop B. A. Idahosa passed on to glory in 1998.
7th November 1894: Walter Gowans, one of the 3 forerunners of the Soudan Interior Mission (SIM) passed on to glory. He was buried at Girku in present day Kaduna State, North Western Nigeria. Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) was founded in 1954 when the SIM-related churches (initially in Nigeria) came together to form an indigenous body. It is now known as the ‘Evangelical Church Winning All’.
7th November 2021: Most Reverend Dr. Humphrey Bamisebi Olumakaiye is presented as the Archbishop of Lagos Ecclesiastical Province (Anglican Communion), Church of Nigeria. Olumakaiye was enthroned as the Bishop of Lagos on 30 July 2018 and passed on to glory on 30 October 2022.

7th November 2020: Ikechukwu Anselem Opara and Judith Kanayo (Judikay) get married. Pastor Anselem is the Senior Pastor of the Resurrected Church, founder and president of The Resurrected Global Network (TRGN). Minister Judikay is a Gospel music minister.
