8th November 2020: Winners’ Chapel International completes planting of over 10,000 new churches in Nigeria and some other countries in spite of the COVID-19 global lockdown.
8th November 1944: The first evangelistic service of The Apostolic Faith Church (Apostolic Faith Mission) in Nigeria was held in Lagos, with 8 people in attendance under Brother GT Oshokoya. There are now about 700 Apostolic Faith congregations in Nigeria. The mother Church is the United States Apostolic Faith International, which was founded by Reverend Florence Crawford in 1906. It has its headquarters in Portland, Oregon, U.S.
8th November, 1889: Oswald Jeffrey Smith is born in Odessa, Ontario Canada. He was a Pastor, author and Missions Advocate. He founded The Peoples Church, Toronto, Canada in 1928. He passed on to glory on 25 January 1986
8th November, 1955: Construction work for Apostolic Faith Church headquarters in Nigeria begins on the new Church site of Apostolic Faith Church at 49, Moloney Street, Ebute Metta, Lagos. The headquarters would later be moved to The Great Tabernacle, Anthony, Lagos and is currently based at Faith City, Igbesa Ogun State, Nigeria.
8th November, 1990: Dr David Heward-Mills is born. He is the first son of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills the Founder of United Denominations originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC). He passed on to glory on 15th April 2022.
8th November, 2008: Pastor Sola Osunmakinde weds his wife Abigail Osunmakinde. Their marriage is blessed with children. They are the Founders of Household of David Church
