WE HAVE NEVER FOR ONE DAY SAID “GOD WHY?” IN THIS MINISTRY.
GOD WHY FOR WHAT?
GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
EVER RIGHT!
GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL, EVER SURE.
NOT ONE DAY HAVE I SAT WITH MY WIFE AND COMPLAINED ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING. GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING ALL THE TIME.
A BELIEVER WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING IS NOT DIFFERENT FROM AN UNBELIEVER
THIS COMPLAINING AND MURMURING IS UNDOING YOUR LIFE. LEAVE IT ALONE.
DON’T EVER LET GOD WITHDRAW HIS HAND FROM YOUR LIFE. THAT IS WHEN YOU KNOW HOW EMPTY ONE CAN BE.

Thank you Father, thank you for accepting all of our thanksgiving. Receive our thanks again in Jesus. Now speak to each one of us again and let your name be glorified.
UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING.
Proverbs 21:16.
A believer that is void of spiritual understanding is not different in any way from an unbeliever. Hosea 4:6. Every unsaved soul is in that class. The soul that sinneth shall die. The believer that is void of understanding is no better. No wonder He said wisdom is the principal thing and with all your getting, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7. No matter what you have, understanding is key to an outstanding life. We never get blessed beyond our level of understanding of any truth. Matthew 13:23. Church Gist. The result is according to their level of understanding. They all had the same good heart but different levels of understanding. The fruits they bear are according to their level of understanding. Spiritual understanding is key to making the most of our adventure in the Kingdom. Spiritual understanding is key to making the most of adventure in the kingdom.
Understanding the power of Thanksgiving. People get weary because they think it ought to have happened by now. First, understand that God is never late. John 11:37-44. Anytime I arrive, the answer arrives. Our God is never late. Jesus gave thanks and the stinking Lazarus became a centre of attraction for the entire land. Church Gist. Everybody was longing to see Lazarus, the same way they pressed to see Jesus. Our God is never late, at the end, it shall speak. Habakkuk 2:3. We need the understanding of the fact that God is never late. It will keep your thanksgiving lifestyle alive. God is never late.
First one whole year of this church, in spite of the dramatic encounters with God and the unveiling of the mystery of Church growth, our highest attendance for the year was 154. After 16 seminars back to back, we grew tremendously and we had 90 people. What an awesome God. Today is the 24th of September, it is 33 years since the Lagos Church started. After 4 seminars, our attendance was 178 for the first Sunday service. You see the army of sanctuary keepers coming now, it is a mega church. Habakkuk 2:3. That is how to keep your Thanksgiving life alive. My God is never late whatever time He comes, it happens.
There was no sign there that they were crying to God. Suddenly on the day of Pentecost when God’s time fully came, heaven broke loose. There are many of us, heaven will break loose in your favour. We must keep the tempo of our Thanksgiving high. John 11:41-43. Thanksgiving is one way to facilitate the confirmation of God’s word in our lives. Mark 10:27. Church Gist. It appeared late for Abraham but Abraham’s blessing is still alive today and his seeds are blazing the trail around the world. Spiritual seeds and natural seeds are the same way. Say with me “My God is never late”.
Thanksgiving has the capacity to quicken anything dying or dead back to life. It ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women and Abraham’s body was dead yet Isaac came. Romans 4:20-21. Thanksgiving has the capacity to quicken and bring back to life anything dying or dead. We saw the case of Lazarus. John 11:41. Lazarus was still stinking but Jesus said Father I thank you for you have heard me. Lazarus! God has heard me come forth. Church Gist. We need to understand how this thing works. Thanksgiving will always precede the great acts of God. Let it become your new lifestyle and keep it alive, it is for your good. Jesus I thank you. Oh what a horrible thing, it would have been more horrible if not for Jesus who stood there to stop the enemy from having his way. I thank you Jesus. You just keep going, your life keeps shining and mean it. Say it and mean it from your heart.
Malachi 2:1-3.
It is not just to be raising your hand “Lord I thank you”. Thank Him in truth and deed. Who dash monkey banana? Where did I get this free life from? Sleep and wake up and still breathing and eating when you want to eat and go to the restroom when you want to. You did all that? What can’t you do? My life is my most precious asset yet you gave it to me for free. I thank you because you live, I shall live. Church Gist. I thank you because you took my sickness away. I thank you because I have no sickness in my body. You begin to thank God after the order of Christ. Lazarus was still dead, he was still stinking. Jesus said I thank you because you have heard me and Lazarus came forth. I thank you because you can’t deny yourself.
Psalm 118:17. You are using your remaining strength when you are challenged to say that from inside. I thank you, and I believe your word. Don’t let no devil break your spirit, tell yourself that report is not mine. I believe your report. Your report is clean concerning me, that is what I believe. Thanksgiving is a most powerful force that many believers don’t understand anything about. We had a crusade that failed and we gave thanks. It failed in the physical, you look at it and it failed. It didn’t hold and we were all there and we gave thanks. Now we have crusades here every week and every day. Your reaction against God’s “slow action” is why He withdraws. Don’t let God withdraw, when He withdraws His hand from a man’s life nothing remains. John 15:5. Don’t ever let God withdraw His hand from your life. That is when you know how empty one can be. 1 Thessalonians 5:8. Church Gist. Hebrews 10:36. In everything give thanks, no matter how unthank worthy it may appear, give thanks and things will turn around. Give thanks understanding that God never shies away from His word, He never denies Himself and He is never late. When God shows up on your behalf, it is sure to show. It will show, all your mockers will see it. When God shows up, everything around you will know it. Thanksgiving is key to experiencing God’s great acts.
Prayers: Lift your two hands and let Him know how thankful you are for who He is to you. Thank Him for the salvation of your soul, thank Him for His good hand upon your life. Thank Him for those areas where it looks like “when will it happen?” Thanksgiving will make it happen when it is from the heart.
Don’t listen to any devil. When will it happen? He makes all things beautiful in His time. Church Gist. When it is bound to happen, It is bound to happen. He never lies, He never denies Himself.

- May Thanksgiving become your new lifestyle.
Everything in the kingdom answers to us on an individual basis. Church Thanksgiving is okay but it will never deliver what your personal Thanksgiving will deliver. Therefore be ye thankful. Let it be your personal way of life. We owe God thanks for everything, no assumption, in everything because you are too sure of whatever He says. Church Gist. Until it becomes your personal way of life you are not going anywhere Sir. Come down. Until your faith becomes a personal asset it will not deliver victory. Build your faith, build your confidence in God and watch how He will keep decorating your life.
I said in 1979, the time of brethren let us go is over. I am gone. I can’t wait for you and waste my destiny. I am gone. If you are interested you can come after. I can’t wait for you and miss my flight, I am going. You better make your walk with God personal. We have been travelling through this journey of thanksgiving and praise all through the month, if all you know is what is done is Church, good luck. Wait till next year when we have another praise time. You better catch it and run with it. Church Gist. We have never settled down one day and said “God why?” in this ministry since its inception. He is ever faithful, ever sure. From today you won’t question God anymore. You won’t stay in your trouble like Job for questioning God and exonerating Himself. You better get back to God and tell Him you have never been wrong. I know I am secure in your hand. What I know not, teach me. You are always right. That will spur your thanksgiving attitude. My wife is here today, not one day have I sat with her and said see what is happening. Good things are happening all the time. This complaining and murmuring is undoing your life. Leave it alone. Get back to God on His terms.

Lift those two hands
In the previous name of Jesus, all of the portion allotted to you in this season of showers of blessing shall not be lost to carelessness.
I pray that the few days remaining will be days of good news for you.
As you approach God on His terms, you will experience His faithfulness.
A brand new dawn, a brand new day in the name of Jesus.
The remaining days of this month shall be moments and seasons of humbling testimonies in your life.
Give God thanks again. Giving thanks is never too much. Thank Him for everything and in everything because something good is in everything for you.
