What a privilege to be a partaker of this multifaceted prophetic season. As the Lord lives, this season is a season you will never forget in a hurry. Many will make an anniversary of this season because God never lies. For everyone that is a partaker of this Operation Change of Story as the Lord lives your story and that of your family will keep changing. Church Gist. Every of your input in terms of time, energy and resources in driving Operation Change of Story will result in very humbling testimonies. May the remaining four weeks be your weeks of great encounters with Christ.
One of our converts came to Church two weeks ago and on his way home, somebody parked by his side and said ”do you know how to drive?”. They have never met before. He said, “I don’t know how to drive a car but I can ride a tricycle”. He said give me your name and your number. Called him by himself the following day and said go to where they sell and find out how much it will cost. I have paid for it all. I told you God told me to change that service from Restoration to Turnaround. Church Gist. That was how he got a brand new tricycle without knowing the man from Adam. He said how do I pay? He said, “pay what? God told me to do it”. That signifies the reality of Change of Story. Watch out for it, I am not a motivational speaker, I am a prophet God speaks to me and there is nothing I hear from God that He does not confirm. Therefore I decree, the confirmation of your dramatic change of story in this season.
Lord reach out to every one of us in a unique way today and let your name be glorified in Jesus precious name.
He changes the stories of men through His word. 2 Corinthians 3:18. The trigger for the change of story of every believer is applied revelation. Whatever He tells you to do, do it and your story will change (John 2:5). John 9:7, 11:42, 2:7-12. Our story does not change by knowing what He says to do but by doing it. Psalm 112:1-3. Whatever He tells you to do, delightsomely do it without grumbling. It is not the Church that changes people, it is individuals that work out their change by what do with what they are taught. Tomorrow by the grace of God, the mandate will be 41 years in existence and we have never known a setback. For the next 41 years of your life, if Jesus tarries, you will not know a setback. Church Gist. But the only way forward is to keep going, not that I obeyed Him yesterday. Some people grabbed one miracle and fled and the miracle became an obstacle. We had some breakthroughs in those days in Kwara, when you start from zero and it is now 10, 20, 30 and it is growing, that is breakthrough. We had some level of breakthrough in Kaduna. Our ride down to Lagos did not seem like a great instruction at that time but we obeyed. What is breakthrough in Kaduna compared to what we saw in Lagos? And He said, “Now come to the forest”. What is the breakthrough in Lagos compared to this forest? The only way forward is to keep going. Church Gist. Many retire so soon. With the kind of things we saw in Raji-Oba which we call Capernaum, we shouldn’t move. The only way forward is to keep going. I was a tither yesterday, are you still a tither today? The only way forward in my walk with God is to keep going, is to keep following. Our making is to keep following. When we stop following, our making stops. Matthew 4:19. When you stop going to work, what happens? Your pay stops, your allowance stops. Grace to keep following, receive it now.
The prophetic focus for the month as read is FINANCIAL DOMINION IS MY HERITAGE IN CHRIST. The anchor scripture is 2 Corinthians 8:9. Wealth is not our ambition, it is our heritage. Jesus paid the price to bail us out of poverty and penury, thereby making it our birthday. Wealth is neither your ambition nor my ambition, it is not a doctrine of this Church. Wealth is a birthright of the redeemed of the Lord. Hosea 4:6. They don’t know what belongs to them so they can’t tell when it is robbed of them. Galatians 4:28. We belong to a family tree of blessings, a family tree of financial dominion.
Isaiah 51:1-3.
That is our lot in redemption, the turning of our wilderness into Eden and our desert into the garden of the Lord. That is a word of fortune. Everybody is out of their wilderness this month. The wilderness of lack and want, the wilderness of begging to eat, the wilderness of wearing rags. Everybody no matter your state today, you are ordained for a dramatic change of story in this area. You belong to a Church that does not know lack, you belong to the family of abundance in heaven and you are privileged to connect with His operation on earth in this local assembly, where they know no lack and are never under any financial stress. You better connect. Church Gist. There are no pretences here. God’s grace is just sitting on the congregation. May that grace locate you and rest on your life. You went out yesterday to those areas where we did medical outreaches, I mean it is in millions and multi-millions by the grace of God and by His supplies. You have Churches being built all around the world at the same time. You have the Mammoth project of the Ark and everybody is so stress-free.
- For the remaining days of your life, you shall remain financially stress-free.
Our teaching series for this highly prophetic month which is the last weeks of the 40 days post-resurrection appearance of Christ. He will appear to you by His word. He will speak to you burning words, words that will stick with you all the days of your life and will keep generating results. Our teaching series is captioned GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL FORTUNE.
Job 22:21-25. Get acquainted with God. Many people know about God, but very few know God. Daniel 11:32. There is a law that when you discover and engage with it, launches you into a realm where you lay up gold as dust. Financial fortune. Job 22:25. People will get angry with you but they can’t touch you. Psalm 112:10. It is fearless, fear-free fortune, restless fortune. I have never checked on any source of help, I have never visited a native doctor in my life. I have never visited a long-bearded or long rod holding prophet to see for me, I can see for myself. Yet you find me in the marketplace, the Okada park, under the bridge, walking freely. The desire of the wicked shall perish. That’s our anchor scripture. There is the law that you have no choice but to line up with in order to taste that realm – the realm of financial fortune. Church Gist. When they say your Pastor is the richest man, they are saying your Church is the richest Church. There is no other way of saying it. This is a super-rich Church. The Lord has done great things for us and we are not ashamed of it. We know who did it, Jesus did it. That is how great things will be happening in your life without sweat by simple obedience of faith, not coerced obedience or pressured obedience. Nobody in this Church will ask you whether you give or not, it is between you and God which is defined by your choice.
More interestingly, on August 26th 1987 I was in the U.S. and then I had a series of meetings I had to be in and the Lord said to me “Arise, get back home and make my people rich”. So I have that clear mandate from God. It is not a cook up. It is what I am sent to preach. This is a make rich Church. We are not a Church of rich people, we are making people rich. It’s not a rich people’s Church. It is a church that makes poor people rich. I have a lot of fantastic pastors here, just imagine how you came here. If you see your picture you will be surprised. Church Gist. There are some heaven weight deacons and elders here, just try to rewind what was I like when He brought you here. When I returned from that trip we started this breakthrough program in Maiduguri tagged “Desert Place”. In the name of Jesus, you have come to where God makes people rich through the light of His word, poverty, lack and want must end finally this time. Not only will you, no one in your generation shall ever beg for bread.
Psalm 112:1-3.
Your delightsome obedience today is an investment into generations after you. Poverty will never be traceable to your lineage forever. I was in the presence of God getting ready for the month and I saw seven ways that God blesses. The work of your hands is the last one. People over celebrate nonsense. The first is the blessing of the Lord (Proverbs 10:22), then the priestly blessing, parental blessing, divine direction. I have not talked about your profession, that is the last. Do you know why God’s blessing is first? When He blesses, no devil can ‘unbless’. Numbers 23:8, 20. No authority under heaven can reverse a blessing from the Lord. So when you come under the blessing, it is an irreversible order of blessing. Proverbs 10:22. That is how superior the blessing of the Lord is. Until you have gotten there, I don’t care what your skill is. You are not there. Ecclesiastes 9:11. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes a difference. I will be showing you the way to His blessings which is the supreme blessing of life. When it comes on a man, it is settled. Genesis 22:17. That is how your blessing will be speaking to your generations after you. Anybody can run up and down and have chains of certifications, and regulations, it’s okay. Church Gist. There is nothing wrong with that, if you miss the blessing of the Lord, you have missed it. That is the only free channel of blessings. The profession does not go obsolete, it is high selling at all times. That is where you are going. We are not experts of anything, we are just under the blessing. How can you put up a thing like this without a budget? Under the blessing. Tomorrow they will be showing us the stage of the Ark Project. Very humbling. We are now on the fourth floor and we are going. Stress-free, not one day come and give an offering. It is your turn now because your Church is in there, you are getting there yourself. The end of financial crisis has finally come for every member of this Church. If you mind the law and mind the principles that drive the law, the end must come to your days of financial stress.
The last days according to Biblical prophecies shall be days of earth-shaking moves of God that will lead multitudes into the kingdom. All nations shall flow into the Church. For that to happen, God will be releasing His gold and His sliver into the world. Haggai 2:8. This divine agenda cannot be accomplished with the unleashing of heaven’s wealth on the earth. Zechariah 1:17. There is an agenda to supernaturally prosper His people in the end time. Matthew 24:14. Church Gist. This is why I believe God is all out to empower His people for supernatural wealth so they can become channels for the release of His silver and gold for building the end-time Church. True riches are coming down on the earth and God is looking for who to entrust with such flow. The sound from heaven is whom shall I send? 🎶 Here am I send me, as the Lord wants somebody here am I send me🎶. The interesting thing is that you can start from where you are and keep dreaming Kingdom investment dreams. See your investment in the Kingdom with the eyes of your mind. I desired to build Churches for Christ when I had no bank account. I am telling you the mystery, without a kingdom dream you are not a partaker. “I can’t buy a chair today but God I want to be part of those who build you Churches”. Nobody ever arrives at a future he cannot see. I desired to build Churches for Christ when I had no bank account, your dream is more important than your resources. Every genuine Kingdom dreamer ends up in a boom. We started giving scholarships in my family in 1992, what were you worth short man? I won’t tell you, find out from God. I know Professors here at Covenant who were on my scholarship during their school days. Church Gist. I wasn’t giving them scholarships so they could teach in Covenant, I didn’t have an idea of Covenant then. One of them met me and said “Sir, I have been on your scholarship since I was 14”. Praise God! If it is in your heart, it will reach your hand. They mentioned kingdom outreach, okay bring anything you have, including a pair of slippers you didn’t come. I stood four hours, four hours on my feet parking the things we were bringing in to be sure it was orderly. You always do well when you have kingdom matters in your heart. You can’t do ‘weller’ without that thing in your heart. There must be Papa’s dictionary when I leave. If it is more well, what do you call it? “Weller”. If it is more than “weller” what do you call it ‘wellest’. In the name of Jesus, doing what God says to do will remain your delight for life.
That is what we are here for, we are here to show people how to come under God’s blessings without playing games by engaging with the terms of the covenant. You are changing level.
However, God’s wealth is accessed and sustained by our understanding of the covenant of wealth. What is a covenant? A covenant is a contractual agreement between two or more parties. In our context, it is an agreement between God and man where God is committed to fulfilling His promise when our obedience is fully in place. Deuteronomy 8:18. It is a sworn covenant. I vow to do this with my integrity if you will do this. The covenant of wealth is a sworn verdict. God’s prosperity plan is not a promise but a covenant. Until one’s part is played, you can’t commit God to play His part. It is not a promise, you can’t pray it down. You can’t fast it down. You have to engage with the terms to ever see it. Genesis 8:20-22. Philippians 4:15-19. There is a giving before you can have the receiving. If you are not a giver, you are not a candidate for receiving. Only seed showers qualify for harvest. 2 Corinthians 9:6. It is a direct interpretation of that covenant God enacted with Noah. So giving is sowing. 2 Corinthians 9:8. We are blessed to keep promoting what God said we should promote. The covenant of seedtime and harvest is the covenant of giving and receiving and sustaining what you receive by continuing to abound in every good work, promoting every good course. Church Gist. The best of all courses is kingdom advancement. Matthew 6:33. That is the priority good work that is given to us. With a heart for God, building 10,000 rural churches from this assembly should not be a problem. Do you know why I can’t die early? I covenanted with God to help me sow a minimum of a thousand churches in my lifetime. He has to elongate my life to make that happen. Just fill your hearts with genuine dreams. Not dreams to impress yourself. “Lord if I have a Peugeot car I will like to give it to this man that is going on this mission” and the following day, the car came to me. If it is in your heart, it will reach your hand. If it is genuine. He knows your thoughts afar off. God knows which is a balloon thought to impress your pastor or your friend. When they told me how much was available for medical outreach, I said that is not enough and I did my own bit. Church Gist. My own bit is more than all you did. Men that will be ten thousand in one are rising and you can choose to be one of them by jumping at every opportunity that touches the heart of God. I will have #300 in my pocket and somebody is crying, I will pull it out and put it in His hand and walk out. That is where it starts. You can’t tell me you don’t know what to eat after service and I tell you to go. I had my bank in my pocket. All I had, can enter my pocket so I share it with you. That is where to begin from. You can’t be in your zone and a little boy is sent out of school and you are telling them “God bless you”. What is “God bless you”? Pay for him, that is how to grow. This covenant works, it is only you that needs to get to work. Luke 12:21. You give to the poor, you lend to the Lord. You better get rich towards God. What you are keeping will soon disappear.
I am a blessed man, the devil knows I am blessed. The media world knows I am blessed. There is no one that will any less blessed if he cares to work in the same steps. We were 18,000 plus income as a Church in 1984. Guess what? My tithe was there. My offering was there. That was our worth all of us. God is still God. Start from where you are. The tithe of #10 is #1, there is no problem with that. The tithe is not #5, it is the same.
The terms of this covenant of blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrow include-
- Tithing is key to a world of financial fortune. Malachi 3:8-10.
It is a master gateway to a world of financial fortune. There was a man by the name of J.C. Penney who was taught about tithing by his mother. When the blessing began to increase, he started rationalizing. As he was rationalizing, the blessing started reducing and reducing and finally, he went bankrupt. He asked God what was happening and God said “remember where you fell from?”. There are many believers like that. They just watch their life go down and flat. Church Gist. What Papa is teaching is not true, thank you! That means the Bible is not true. I caught that light in 1982. I have never needed encouragement to be a tither. You better wake up, the only way forward is to keep going. When you stop going, you stop. You go forward taking steps. Matthew 23:23. John D. Rockefeller, the first American billionaire in history rose from tithing. Tithing made him, brought him unto fortune that is still speaking long after he has left. - Kingdom Promotion Investment or Sacrifice.
You jump at every opportunity at your level. That opportunity to take up a child and train him through school, look at a homeless family and just decorate their life. I saw a boy and I said why are you not in school? He said we can’t afford to go to school. What about your mother? She is on the field. So I said they should get them a house, a member of this Church already got them a house and furnished it. The Lord said to me you are not the only one. If you don’t do it, somebody else will do it. Church Gist. I was thinking of getting them a house. Someone has already furnished the house for the woman and her three children. Start from where you are. Because by the speed of light, you will experience a dramatic change of story. No child should be withdrawn out of school with the cell system. Don’t just say “God bless you”. When our Church was still coming up, I used to look around when they were singing and dancing. I checked for those who are not singing or dancing or looking far away and I asked them to see me after service to know what was wrong. By the time I say how are you? The first thing is tears. The Church really had no account that you can withdraw from. Don’t be a cell minister in affluence and members are dying when you can help. What you are doing is paving a way for your generation and God will reward you. Don’t close your hands and be confessing for money. Take steps that empower people for wealth. Don’t come before His presence empty-handed, always come with an offering. Deuteronomy 16:16-17. It is a normal practice of the Church. Plan it, I have never had stress in my offering because it is calculated. It is set. I am not looking for what to do.
Two vital benefits of financial covenant platforms.
- It averts curses. The curse on the earth was lifted through the sacrifice of Noah. Every generational curse loses its effect in the life of every covenant practitioner.
- It guarantees divine protection.
Job 22:25.
- There shall be no breaking in of the devil in anyone’s life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our greatest battles are against the power of darkness, and unseen forces, everybody saw Pharaoh and the taskmasters as the challenge of God’s people but God said No!. Exodus 12:12. There are many things we are battling with that are not of human source. It can go through any of them to do whatever it wants to do but the real source is the gods of the land. Who are these gods? Satan is called the gods of this world so his agents are called the gods of the land. Church Gist. Can you take them to the International Court of Justice? Can you take the gods there for Human Right Abuse? Most of the wars we are fighting are against the gods of the land which is why vengeance is important.
- Whatever has been holding anyone’s life down, God’s vengeance will answer in your favour today.
Isaiah 54:15 - Every uprising of the gods of the land must fall for your sake today.
- Every demonic installation against your life and family shall collapse today.
- Today by divine vengeance you will be turned to coals of fire in the hands of your enemies.
- This week, you will hear your testimony that the gods of the land around your issue have crashed.
The gods of Egypt were visited with vengeance and they couldn’t hold Israel back anymore.
- Nothing shall succeed to hold your life back anymore.
Why? This is your year of More than a Conqueror, your year of release, your year of change of story.
Isaiah 63:4.
The good news is that your year has come. The day of vengeance must answer. Whatever has not allowed you to go must let go of you today. Hosea 12:13.
- You are coming out of your Egypt today.
- The hosts of Egypt you see today, you see them no more again forever.
Somebody came here on a Covenant Day of Vengeance like this in 2006 and they have been burying people in his family. He was already coughing blood to show that he was next. Jesus stepped in and judged the God behind that siege and he gave his testimony in 2016. Church Gist. For 10 years no one died in their family. Today marks the end of the captivity of the gods of this world in your life. The gods behind marital spell, career failure, and business stagnation must crash today. God confided in me that today is your day of vengeance and He shall deliver it. What they say will never happen will start happening with speed.
Many innocent captives we have among believers but today is your day of overturning captivity.
Zechariah 1:17-21.
I am privileged to be one of those carpenters. Whatever the enemy has done to wreck anyone’s family today marks the end of it in the name of Jesus.
