Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we are here tonight looking up to you. You sent a word to Jacob, it transformed his life forever. Grant each one of us tonight a raw encounter with your Word that will bring yet another dramatic turnaround in our lives. Church Gist. Let light arise for us in darkness. Grant us grace to locate the way forward in our lives and let your name be glorified in Jesus’ precious name. Praise the Lord.
UNDERSTANDING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF STEWARDSHIP. Let’s again be reminded that we are created as breakthrough entities on the earth, we are redeemed breakthrough entities on the earth. Matthew 5:14. Revelation 22:12. John 10:17-18. We are redeemed as stars in this world. It is not our ambition, it is our birthright. Every child of God is a seed of Abraham and an heir according to the promise. Galatians 3:29. In thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 22:18. Every seed of Abraham is redeemed with virtues for global impact. Again, it is not our ambition, it is simply our discovery that breakthroughs are our heritage. So it is not being ambitious or over-ambitious, it is just a discovery. Church Gist. Jesus is coming back for a breakthrough Church, a reigning Church. Psalm 110:1-3. He is coming for a ruling and a reigning Church. We discover that this requires a platform of stewardship to actualize. Luke 19:17-19. So the reigning Church will emerge from the stewardship platform. The covenant of stewardship is the platform for the rise of the reigning Church. Job 1:8. Job, my servant. That man became the greatest of all men in the East. Abraham, my servant, became the covenant father of generational blessings. Psalm 89:20. Reigning in the Body of Christ is from the platform of stewardship. One can not be a part of that without engaging that platform as individuals.
From all I have said, Supernatural Breakthrough shall become a core identity of the end time Church before Jesus returns. You emerge breakthrough is stamped on your forehead because everywhere you turn there is no resistance. In your domain as a ruler, no resistance. The State Governor in Ogun State will come around every part of the State, no resistance. He is the ruler of that territory. Church Gist. The President will come to any place without resistance because he is the ruler of that country. The end time Church will come across no resistance. They have entered the breakthrough realm of reigning in life. We can’t toy with stewardship, it is the only recognized platform here in the scriptures for anyone to get enthroned.
If stewardship is this powerful, why is it not working in everyone’s life? Are you sure it is ordained to work for everybody? Oh Yes! But not everybody claiming to serve God is serving God. Many are under the cloak of hypocrisy. He said to Simon in Acts 8, “Thou art a gall of bitterness, your heart is not right with God” and he was born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost but his heart was not right with God. Hypocrisy never flies with God. 1 Kings 18:21. Church Gist. You can’t serve two masters, Jesus said, you have to choose one and despise the order. Matthew 6:24. Here on this side of the globe there is an old age that heaven only helps those who help themselves. So they claim to serve God in the open but they are serving another god in the secret. Labour vanity, engagement futility because of who God is, He is a jealous God.
Joshua 24:14-20. You can’t serve Him alone with any other god, He will not forgive your transgressions and your sins. That is the mystery behind the suffering and suffer head of many people in the Body of Christ. This ministry is 42 years old. I have never checked on any other source of help before the God of heaven and who is in the midst of us today. He doesn’t deal with double dealers. He is a jealous God, He can’t stand double-dealing. If God be God, go after Him. If Baal is your choice, serve him. The sorrow of them that hasten after another God shall be multiplied. Jesus was proclaiming woes on them because they were hypocrites. Matthew 23:13-15, 23,25,27,29. He was proclaiming woes. Church Gist. Hypocrisy never flies with God. If you don’t drop another god that is holding you bound, serving God won’t change your story. Something in your pocket is holding your destiny down. Something under your pillow is the reason why you are visited every night. God remains God whether you serve Him or not. He remains God of all heavens and the earth whether we serve Him or not. So let’s stop playing games. I can’t bear failure so I react on time. God, what is wrong with me? Why is this not happening according to what is written? That is the way to get an answer. Be true to yourself.
Jesus defined Himself as a seed. John 12:24. The Bible refers to us, the redeemed of the Lord as the seed of Abraham. So everyone is a seed. You can’t be planted in two places. You are a seed not seeds, you are one. Psalm 92:12-15. As a seed, you can’t be on two sides. Exodus 32:26. This god we are talking of, it is not just idols of stone. Although that is principal. The god of gold. Daniel 5:4. If you remove money from serving God, many will not be here anymore. Church Gist. Night and day all their dreams are how to get money. It has become a god to them. When you seek the Kingdom of God, its advancement and enlargement in all righteousness, those things are added to you without adding trouble with it. Proverbs 10:22. It is time to rethink. James 1:6-8. Let a double-minded man think he shall receive anything from God. Do you want to make the most of your adventure in the Kingdom? Let your eyes be single and then your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22.
I have shared this with you several times. The Lord said to me “My son you have two eyes can you make one to look up and the other to look down?” I tried it and it didn’t work. “Anytime you are looking up to man, never claim to be looking up to me. If you fix your eyes on me you will never be ashamed.” September 6th 1983. I was on the mat with my team in prayer and fasting when he showed me Psalm 34:5. That became a GPS for me. Clear signal. If you want to experience my from glory to glory agenda in your life, fix your eyes on me. So I came up with those three fundamental statements: Whatever God cannot do in my life, let it remain undone. Whatever God cannot give me, may I never have it. Wherever Jesus cannot take me, may I never get there. 🎵He is enough for me. Jesus of Nazareth is enough for me. 🎵 🎵I am satisfied with Jesus. He has never failed. I am satisfied with Him. 🎵If I had any item of the devil with me, he would have hit me off my feet. I have nothing to do with him. Church Gist. “Who then will follow my example, who will give himself and all that He has to the Lord?” That is what David said. You better wake up. It is not working by magic; everything works in the Kingdom by covenant. Exodus 20:4-5. If you serve the devil now, you are investing horror into the future of your generations after you. He hasn’t changed. We are coming on Sunday to confront by the Word of the Lord and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the generational curses ravaging many lives they are not aware of. A generation is equal to 100 years. You can invest trouble 400 years ahead of your children’s children by going after the devil. Come out, my friend! There is nothing there. As terrible as Ota witches are, why are we still here? Where is their terror? It departed from them. Light came, darkness fled. It is time to settle with God. This here and there won’t fly. It won’t take you anywhere. Church Gist. Many are harrowing in prisons today because of their insatiable crave for money. Some are dead, completely dead. You are hearing this tonight because there are certain things you must separate from right now. If you don’t, anything you see is your choice. Are there not churches going after native doctors to help them? Are there not pastors going after them? The heart of man is deep and desperately wicked.
Psalm 62:5. You can’t suffer frustration when you are waiting on God. Because it is an issue of the heart, only you and God know where you stand. Nobody has access. Jeremiah 17:9-10. Only you and God know. There is no point pretending, you know where you are standing. Whether you leave Church on Sunday morning and you find your way somewhere else, you know. His eyes, All things lay bare before Him. Before you stood up from your house, He saw you. When you stood on the street, He saw you. Church Gist. He saw you when you were getting on the motorbike, He saw you when you were taking someone’s name there to help you hurt him. He saw you. It is just like when you have the camera all over the place, you will now cover your eyes. What does that mean? My prayer is that no one will serve God in futility again. Your serving God will deliver what is ordained to deliver according to scriptural Covenant. Just settle down, there is zero on the other side. I can tell you that. No one will miss the mark.
You can do all that you can do but as for heaven, hypocrites won’t get there. They said we have done great works in your name. He said I know you not. Eh! Are you not the one using us? I use asses too. So what is it about you? 2 Chronicles 16:9. Some are perpetuating generational curses. They got under it from their forefathers and they are passing it on to their children’s children by doing the same thing. Church Gist. We are serving God but things are not changing. How are you serving God? Hebrews 12:28. Acceptable and reasonable service. We are not looking here and there. God is more than enough for you. Somebody’s story is changing.
Stewardship is the God ordained covenant platform for the end time reigning Church. It is interesting to know that we are in the end times already. 1 John 2:18. We should know. All the prophecies of the end times are closing in on us and we can see them. Sir, there is no scientific way out. This earth will burn like an oven and all the proud who say “Who is God, forget about Him” they shall be stubble. The day that is coming will burn them and leave them with neither root nor branch. Malachi 3:17-19, 4:1-2. That is where you belong. No devil will shift your ground from there. I am asking you tonight to convince yourself that this Jesus is more than enough for all I will ever need in my life. Matthew 11:27-28. Come and learn my way of rest. Come and find out how to be settled. He has the answer. Otherwise, you will join the company of gainsayers, I don’t know what they are using here. They are using charms. Okay, use charm now. Don’t you know where they are doing charm? It is all on the net. 🎵 It is a great thing to serve the Lord. Walking in the light of God. Oh walk, walk, walk, walking in the light. Walking in the light of God. 🎵 You will never be found again walking in darkness.
When you make your life a seed unto God, it will impact the generations after you. Psalm 22:30. You serve Him, your generation after you pick the blessings on them. They serve Him and their generations after that picks the blessings on them. So your generation becomes a generation of blessed people. You serve Him as a seed meaning serving Him dedicatedly not half heartedly, not casually. I have zero fear of my generation after me. Except God has left heaven and the Word is no longer the truth. Zero fear! I caught that long before I got married. Alignment with scriptures guarantees a future. Going by revelation secures generations after you. Psalm 112:1-3. There is a place you follow after God that your generations after you are secure under the umbrella of your consecration and dedication to God. That is how powerful stewardship can be when you engage with it according to the rules. You shall not have any other God besides me. I can’t stand that, I will turn my back. Church Gist. He turned his back against Solomon for following after the gods of his wives. They turned his heart away from God and God turned His back on him, everything went sour. God’s darling became God’s enemy. He set adversaries against him. By following after other gods, he drew the battle line. Why are we saying this? It is written for our example so we don’t make the same mistakes. You can’t claim to be dedicated to God when there is another God by your side. People are amazed at us, I am not amazed. I knew what will happen by knowing what God says and committing to doing it. He told me there is a place for you on top if you are interested. I said I am interested. Then whatever I tell you to do, do it. Don’t run around. Just find what I asked you to do and keep doing it. You are breaking forth.
Proverbs 11:30, 3:35. Daniel 12:3. They that win souls shall shine forth as the stars forever. Who loves them, who doesn’t love them has no bearing. They talk against them, they don’t talk against them, stars forever and ever. There are people here, a thousand years after you are gone if Jesus tarries they will still be quoting you by reason of the quality of your walk with God. Your children’s children will still be praying, “The God of my great great grandfather, hear me now.” Church Gist. Yes, I am here. I have a covenant with him. They will be your case. Daniel 12:3. Stewardship and commitment to Kingdom advancement endeavours forever and ever. When I speak about Abraham, I develop goose pimples, that is my father. He has gone to heaven for the longest time. That is my father. By doing the works of Abraham you will emerge another Abraham.
Can I tell you this? There are certain things you will remove from your life today that the closed doors against your life will just open. Because that was the thing blocking it. When you get rid of it, the door opens. Worshipping of things like gold, self-worship in pride like Nebuchadnezzar. They are not in my class. Self worship has killed many. They call it pride. It brought Satan down from heaven. He was God’s confidante, he was always appearing before the presence of God and he came down as a serpent. Church Gist. What a promotion. Your story will change. Don’t let anything compete with the place of God in your life otherwise, you are asking for Jesus to turn his back on you. What do I need you for? It is your turn for a change of story.
Never mind your mockers. Where you are going is what is taunting them. They began to mock Elisha, he was about to return with double the spirit of Elisha. Church Gist. He never listened to them. He returned and they bowed down and worshipped him. If you won’t stop following after God, all your mockers today will bow tomorrow.
You will never find anyone on the earth that is genuinely dedicated to God and not be distinguished. No matter how tiny he might be when he subscribed to the mystery of dedication, like the mustard seed he will grow up, throw out great branches and become a covering for many. Watch it, any little child today that is genuinely dedicated and looking like a fool, watch out tomorrow for great branches. No one can be genuinely dedicated to God and be frustrated on the earth. No one! My serving God is not adding anything to God, it is adding everything to me. God doesn’t need you and me for anything, we Him for everything. God has no needs, He is only committed to meeting our needs. “I have no need. Of my fullness have you all received. What have you that I have not given you? I have no needs.” God has no needs. Church Gist. He is only committed to meeting our diverse needs that rear their ugly heads over and again. My serving God adds nothing to God, it adds absolutely to me. I am the sole beneficiary of my dedication to God and the interests of His kingdom. My serving Him will not make Him God neither will my serving Him make Him less than God. God is God whether I serve Him or not. That is enough to help you make your decision.
My giving life was liberated when I knew that it is not adding anything to God, it is adding everything to me. Everything you see on this earth is made available by God. Your giving is acknowledging that you got the blessings so the channel can be sustained. My commitment to Jesus is for my advancement. It is a brand new day for you. As you keep serving, your level will not stop changing. When a soldier withdraws his service from the military, two things happen. Church Gist. His pay and allowances are over. Much more important is that his authority is withdrawn. If he writes his name without putting (Retired), they will arrest him. Authority withdrawn. When you stop serving Him, you lose your authority and the enemy just comes and takes you easily. I have been waiting for you for a long time. So the pay is nonsense, the authority that sustains you in a wicked world is more important. You better commit to serving God in truth and deed. Revelation 12:12.
Lift your right hand and receive grace for sustainable stewardship. Grace to stay focused, receive it now.
This is just preparatory to what will happen on Sunday. We are devoting Sunday to breaking generational curses under which some are struggling without knowing. When you put off from you what brought that curse in the first instance, then you are ready for freedom. Through you, your lineage will be set free. Church Gist. What has never been known to happen in your lineage will start happening through your life. It will happen through your children and grandchildren by breaking off the shackles of hell. When Asa took away all the abominable things from Israel, God gave them rest roundabout.
Many may not look like it today. Joseph never looked like it. Overnight God stepped in and decorated him. As you stay true to God in your commitment, in your dedication, He will surprise you. Grace to stay committed until your enthronement and to remain so after being enthroned, receive it now. I was out yesterday and we returned with 265 souls. I have been out like that consciously based on Matthew 6:33 since 1976. I am not tired. Maybe in His agenda I am not a Local Government Chairman but that is not the ultimate He has for me. So I keep pressing. Not for what He will do but for adding value to His Kingdom. Last Sunday, my Outreach Team had 659 people in Church. Don’t blame God for liking me, He likes me. Jesus likes me so much. David said “He liked me to make me King”. You will win His affection this time. So wake up from your slumber. I have more enemies than most of you will ever have till you go to heaven, why do they have no effect on me? God is behind me. Because I am on His side, E dey my back Kampe! In the name of Jesus, the same way God is backing off the faithful across the nations, you will begin to enjoy His backing. Church Gist. Go and exhibit your passion for God by getting across to the loading base in your areas and paying off what you are able to pay off for all our new converts and invitees to be able to come to Church. Somebody can even pay off that loading bail for a month with joy and delight. I have done it, forever I will be doing it. This thing is adding value to you not to anybody else. Something is breaking forth in your life. Go and demonstrate your love for God. God’s love has proof. We are winning souls all across the city. Be part of that and watch how Jesus will begin to honour you and shower His blessings all across your life.
