Our series of teachings in our Midweek services for this month have been UNDERSTANDING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP. By way of introduction tonight we are reminded that the end time Church is ordained a breakthrough Church. Psalm 87:1-7. From Scriptures the Word of God makes clear to us that according to the program of God, the end time Church which includes you and I are ordained as breakthrough entities. Church Gist. The Church is not a collection of nonentities, the Church is a congregation of breakthrough entities – men and women of relevance. Micah 4:1-2. The Bible makes it clear to us that the Church of Christ in the last days will become an entity that represents breakthroughs. There is nothing that speaks louder than results. There is nothing that attracts attention like results. Mich 4:2. The top of human endeavour will be the foundation of divine endeavour. When you look at where man’s effort can get to, the height it can ascend is the starting point of where God will be taking his people to. That means there is nothing to envy in the world. The world is designed to envy us. The Bible didn’t say that Isaac envied the Philistines; it says the Philistines envied him. Church Gist. There is no one in the world that is worth your envy. The world is designed to envy what God is making of us and the truth is this: as an outcome of the encounters of this season your world will envy you!
That means that Jesus is coming back for a reigning Church, a Church of giants. Psalm 110:1-3. That means there is no better time to be alive than now. God is ordaining the end time Church as a Church of giants. So colourful is the future of the Church that the Bible calls it a colony of Kings and Priests. Revelation 5:9-10. There is no disadvantaged nation in the Kingdom. Church Gist. No matter your tribe, there is no disadvantage. No matter your tongue, your language, there is no disadvantage. You don’t have to change your tongue to take your place. Daniel 7:27. So, the end time Church is a ruling Church, a Church of giants, stars, breakthrough entities.
– Somebody is entering into that realm from tonight!
That means that supernatural breakthrough will become the core identity of the end time Church before Jesus returns. That’s how you will know those who know God – by the breakthroughs they command. Daniel 11:32; Zephaniah 3:17-20. God is not looking for great names to showcase; he is looking for names to make. Church Gist. Those who mocked you before, they are about to cover their mouth at the glory of God upon your life!
God is in the business of making global icons out of the end time saints. Somebody who is registering among that number tonight say, I am here!
In fact the influence of the people of God is expected to be so strong that the Word of God tells us that the Kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of our God and of his Christ. Church Gist. We are coming to the days where by reason of the results on our lives, people from various languages will be catching hold of us to say, we will go with you because we have heard that God is with you.
Zechariah 8:23. He didn’t just say ten men. He said ten men out of every language of the earth. There is a dimension of God’s hand that comes upon a person’s life that discrimination is out of the window. Nobody looks down at you no matter where you are. There is nothing that commands attention like results. There is nothing that nullifies discrimination like results. There is a kind of result you will have that when people see you they forget your colour, they forget your tribe, they forget your background, they simply run after you. That is what came upon Joseph. The hand of God came upon Joseph’s life and the king forgot about the fact that Joseph was a slave and an Israelite. If you read the book of Genesis you will discover that the Egyptians disdained shepherds. Church Gist. Shepherds were considered an abomination. Joseph was a slave, Joseph was a prisoner and by trade, Joseph was a shepherd. That is the kind of person that should not be allowed in the community. All of those were the identifications of Joseph but when God touched the life of Joseph, everybody forgot all about his background, forgot all about his qualification, forgot all about his prior occupation and he was catapulted to the top. There is somebody hearing my voice tonight, the same way it happened for Joseph, it will happen for you.
What we are talking about is not just the collective experience of the Church but it is expected to be the individual experience of the believer. The end time Church is packaged for breakthroughs and that means that the end time believer is packaged for breakthroughs. Look at what is happening in this Commission, there is no other way to describe it but Breakthrough. It is the kind of thing that defies explanation. Where the occurrences around become a mystery to all. You look at it and you can only define it as this is God. You can’t explain it any other way. Look at the things we share as testimonies. Please hear this so that we don’t get too used to the things that we are hearing, it is not normal. Church Gist. It is not normal at all. A 50,000 seat auditorium completed in one year without any external engagement or expatriate from anywhere. It is not normal at all. The church being filled over and over again, it is not normal at all. The church multiplying by two within seven weeks, it is not normal. The church multiplying again within seven weeks, it is completely abnormal. Then 5,000 churches were planted in one year, there is nothing normal about it. 10,000 churches planted another year, there is nothing normal about it. Home cells multiply by two in one year, there is nothing normal about it. We need to note that the only definition you can give to the happenings of God in this commission is that this is God. There is no human explanation. It can not be orchestrated or organised, you can only point at it and say this is God. The Egyptian magician said this is the finger of God. I make bold to say that what we are seeing is the outstretched arm of God. Church Gist. This is God. I like you to understand that what we are seeing as a commission is what God has packaged for you and I as individuals. When people look at us, they should simply say concerning you and I “This is God”. No way to explain it, connections cannot explain it. I heard God’s servant say something very humbling. He said “People ask me how I know all these great people, ask them how they know me. I didn’t organize to meet anyone. This is God.” For somebody hearing my voice tonight, by the Encounter you are having upon this mountain, from this night onward when people see your life, when they see your family, when they see your children, what they will say concerning you is this is God.
It is important to note that every provision of the Kingdom is always at the mercy of meeting certain conditions. So the question is what is really required for a person to experience this breakthrough package that God has for us in the end time? When it comes to scriptural breakthroughs, the pattern required to experience it is the pathway of stewardship. Luke 22:25-27. There is a difference between the Kingdom pattern and the pattern of the world. If you look at the world, the pattern of the world is that those who rise to the top are those that are served by those at the bottom. In the kingdom, those who rise to the top are the ones that stoop to serve. The pathway to the top in this Kingdom is the pathway of stewardship. There is no way for any man to ascend to the top until he descends first in stewardship. Those who bend down to serve are the ones God raises up to lead. Church Gist. Until we are committed to serving, God is not committed to our shining. It is our shining that positions us for our shining. What that simply means is that without stewardship, the breakthrough destiny of the believer is frustrated. This is the reason why many people get stranded in life. So many are struggling for position, so many are struggling for attention. That is the way of the Kingdom. The way of the Kingdom is to engage in serving and God ultimately designs your lifting.
What kind of stewardship positions us for breakthroughs, we have been looking at this all through this month. Tonight we are going to be looking at the fact that sacrificial stewardship is what makes stars. Psalm 50:5. The ones who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. What is sacrifice? Sacrifice is going the extra mile and paying the utmost price in our stewardship to access the topmost top. Church Gist. Only those who are willing to go the extra mile are capable of attaining extraordinary heights. It takes one going that extra mile for anyone to attain extraordinary heights. Deuteronomy 28:1 – all that I command thee – that’s the extra mile. It is the extra mile that gives you access to extraordinary heights.
It’s also important to note that only those who are willing to pay the utmost price are candidates to win the ultimate prize. Church Gist. Philippians 3:13-14. So the prize is not for everyone, the prize is for those who will press.
That’s why God’s Servant our Father has always said that there is no star without a scar and the scar of every star is sacrifice. So there is a demand on you and I to stretch in order to soar. Church Gist. Luke 12:49-50. It is those who stretch that soar. There is a demand upon you and I to ensure that we stretch in sacrifice.
What are some of the breakthrough virtues in sacrificial stewardship?
1. Sacrificial investment of our time, energy and resources in promoting God’s Kingdom procures for us supernatural favour. So one of the things that it attracts is supernatural favour. Hear this: favour is a game changer. Church Gist. When God’s favour comes upon the life of a person, it rewrites that person’s story dramatically. Psalm 102:13-15. Favour can be described as God in the race. It is where God steps in on your behalf. I see favour coming upon somebody’s life uniquely in the name of Jesus!
Favour places attention on the most obscured destiny thereby catapulting them to the lime light. I put it this way: favour is God’s spotlight on a man. When a person is favoured it will look as if nobody else is existing. If you have been to where they act plays, they usually have a spotlight. Sometimes the entire stage will be darkened and then the spotlight will be put on one person. Church Gist. There are many people on the stage but only one is permitted to be seen – the one upon whom the spotlight is. That’s what favour is. When the spotlight came on Joseph, nobody else could be seen. When it came on Daniel, Esther, nobody else could be seen. It is God’s spotlight on the life of a man or woman. That’s why the Bible said concerning Daniel that he was preferred. Favour puts the spotlight of God upon the life of an individual. It makes that individual become the entity of relevance.
But it is important to understand that favour is not free. It is the product of our engagement in active and passionate stewardship, sacrificial stewardship. When you see a favoured man, favour is also not fair because when it lands upon a man nobody else looks like they can be seen. Church Gist. They keep asking of that man, his name keeps ringing continuously. Why? The spotlight of God has rested upon him.
I looked at the story of David and something caught my attention: David was an obscured destiny; even his family nobody remembered him. But somehow inside the wilderness, the spotlight of God came on him. Church Gist. 1 Samuel 16:18. You see when the spotlight of God comes upon the life of a man, the description changes. That is what you call favour and that favour answers to you and I through our sacrificial service. I’ll like us to understand this evening that this thing we are referring to called favour is an ultimate game changer.
But remember there is a condition to meet. You don’t wish for favour, you work to favour. You work in serving God to favour.
2. The grace that makes great flows through the altar of sacrifice: it is our commitment in sacrificial stewardship that gives us access to the grace that makes great. 2 Corinthians 8:7. Grace is the maker of destiny. 1 Corinthians 15:10. When you see destinies scaling heights, flying high, it’s usually a product of grace. God’s Servant said that meeting was being held in the early days of this commission and there was #3,000 needed to pay the Church rent. Church Gist. He said, “Brethren, (speaking to some of the Leaders in that meeting; they were about 6) God knows that if I had this money, he will not need to appeal to me to give it. But a time is coming when some of us will begin to soar in the sky and some others will be saying, we don’t even know what they are using.” He said, let me tell you what I am using: I am sold out to God. Say with me, “Sacrifice.”
It is that being sold out then that is resulting in soaring high now. Church Gist. So the grace that makes great is contacted through sacrificial stewardship.
It is important for us to understand that our sacrificial stewardship delivers maximally through love. That is the difference maker. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. It is the love behind our sacrifice that makes the difference. What does that mean? It means that before God is interested with your motion, He is first interested in your motive. Are you in love with Him? What is the motivation for your attention? The motive of love is what attracts the attention of God. So we must keep going in love as far as our sacrifice is concerned. Church Gist. We must have that continuously behind our hearts. Not serving God as if it is a negotiation of a trade by barter, No! We are serving him with the motive of love consciously invested in God. I tell you when that becomes the case, your sacrifice begins to procure favour and procure grace that builds up destiny. I see that becoming our experience in the name of Jesus.
Two examples of sacrifice made destinies in scriptures. Giants that rose by sacrifice.
1. Abraham.
Abraham was referred to as a friend of God and sacrifice brought him under a sworn blessing that impacted generations after him. We are still seeing the effect of that sacrifice till now. It is still speaking on the earth till now. Genesis 22:1-18. From verses 16 all the way down to 18, we see God swearing a blessing in reaction to Abraham’s sacrifice. Sacrifice took him to a realm of sworn blessings. Abraham was enjoying blessings before but sacrifice took him to a point of sworn blessing. Church Gist. That blessing is still speaking till today. Everywhere you see the Jews you see the blessing of Abraham in manifestation and even wherever you see believers also, what we are enjoying is the blessing of Abraham. How did that blessing come? By Sacrifice. If God is no respecter of persons and He gave Abraham such a generational dimension of blessings by sacrifice, you and I can be sure that if we serve Him also, we will get the same. That will be our experience in Jesus’ name.
2. Solomon.
Solomon’s sacrifice brought him into greatness. 1 Kings 3:3-13. He offered a sweet sacrifice unto the Lord and God smelled a sweet savour and came down and said what do you want? Church Gist. Because of the sacrifice of Solomon, he was catapulted into unusual greatness. I see that becoming the experience of someone here in the name of Jesus Christ.
As we conclude tonight, let us take note of this: Remember we are not wasting our time serving God. We are investing into our generations after us. What we are doing now will not only speak now, it will speak for our generations after us. Psalm 112:1-3. Take note of this: God is not looking for who to punish, He is looking for who to furnish with His favour. Every instruction from God is not to the advantage of God, it is to the advantage of man. Church Gist. He is not looking for who to punish but who to furnish with His favour. Tonight as you and I re-register our commitment to serving God, I see each one of us being decorated with his favour in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesus!
This is your year. You won’t sell off. This is your moment, it shall not be lost. It is your season of Visitation, you shall not miss it. Sacrifice requires engracement and we are going to partake of it from the Lord’s table. John 10:17-18. Church Gist. The power to lay down what will secure the future and eternity that God has for you, you shall receive it tonight. Everything Jesus did, everything He manifested, He has made possible by what He received from God. The power to maintain a healthy altar of sacrifice that makes great, receive tonight in the name of Jesus.
There are no private revelations in the Kingdom. Every kingdom secret is an open secret. Jesus said what I say to one, I say to all. What you hear in secret, shout on the house’s top. Next Sunday, the secret of operating in the realm of financial fortune as revealed to me will be passed down to you. You know there is what I call the ‘Laodicean Syndrome’ – I am rich, I have no need for anything. Not knowing that you are wretched. Revelation 3:18. “I have something much more than you already know, Come!” Divine secrets are open secrets. Church Gist. That is the good news. Show me what you showed Kenneth Copeland and He showed me. It is an open secret. It is God who has shown us light and He shows us through some people He has lighted. So we operate in it. There are no private testimonies in the Kingdom, every testimony is duplicable and multipliable. The woman with the issue of God showed them the way that there is power in His garment, as many as went after the same order, they were made perfectly whole. Matthew 9:21-23, 14:36. Psalm 119:111, 114. The testimonies of God carry that unending capacity to replicate itself. The same realm of financial fortune that this Church is operating under, there is no other way to explain it, will become your portion. Two things to do, come with an open heart. He will never force his way into anybody’s life. Revelation 3:20. Church Gist. I am too busy to hang on at your door, if you don’t open I can’t enter. Come with the fear of God. The secrets of God are only accessible to those that fear Him. Psalm 25:14. He won’t show the proud-hearted. Come with meekness. If nothing changes in your life, that means you don’t belong to the Kingdom. Forget about the devil. All this devil, devil, the covenant will crush any devil when you connect with it. There is no devil in the equation of all the covenants of God in the scriptures. It is when we are out of it, that the devil has his way. He won’t have his way in your life. So the siege of financial misfortune will be lifted. Everybody will know the refreshing of financial fortune. If it has worked for 42 years, it will work at any time.
Go in peace. As the Lord lives, next Sunday will mark the end of financial struggles in your life. It is not what you have that defines your future but what you see. In 1984, our total income was 18,000+ plus as a church but I saw us soaring in the skies. Not by what is in your hand but by what our eyes have seen. Church Gist. May everyone’s eyes be opened to see the reality of his covenant. May each one’s faith come alive to work in it. The time to favour you has come and the kings of the earth shall fear you. Which connotes fearful favour, that is your portion.
We are running towards the end of this OPERATION BY ALL MEANS. I hope you have engaged at ‘by all means’ frequency. I can’t tell, I can only hope. Anyone who has engaged on a ‘by all means’ frequency except God didn’t send me but the things I tell you are the things He tells me to tell you, your change of story cannot be stopped. Your next level cannot be hindered. In case you are not awake to it, it is not late. You can come awake right now. No explanation is tenable. If you can’t find four souls in eight weeks, God have mercy. If your heart is there, you will find it. Someone can find that whole four tomorrow depending on how he repositions. May you receive grace not to come empty this coming Sunday. If you don’t do what we do, you won’t see what we see. He is no respecter of persons. Church Gist. He does not reward founders, he rewards labourers. If I was carrying a founder’s mentality and sitting down somewhere, I would be living on you. I will be sending to you “Ah, you have not remembered me, what is going on?. Old boy must eat”. No! Till I die, I will be serving the interest of the flock under my care. I have lived that way all this time, never had to enter into any house or call upon anybody for any form of help from any source. I want you to operate in that realm by just choosing to be there and doing what it takes to operate in that realm.
– Be blessed.
– May the unusual take place the remaining few days in each one’s life.
– May no one toy with this instruction, may this instruction secure your action. May your action result in strange manifestations.
– Your minimum of four souls will not be missing. Many will go far beyond the minimum.
Last week I saw 800+ give their lives to Christ as I went from place to place. 800 souls in one week. Since when have you been doing it? Since forever. I have told you the story, I can’t repeat it again. May this season be your take-off time. Where panting after God becomes your way of life. With that His presence domiciled with you, which no money can buy. You can’t fight and beat me, it is not possible. The presence I carry cannot be beaten. He said Lo, I am with you always. I go wherever I want to go. You can’t stop me, you can’t cast spells. The spell I carry is stronger than the one you are casting. Church Gist. He that curses you, I will curse. If you come under His blessings, He takes care of them. Don’t miss it. Minus Matthew 6:33, you are not a member of this Church, you are a visitor. Minus a heart for God, you are just present, you are not partaking.
We are getting our missionaries ready, we are going to take over some nations across the world. We have started that since Monday. It has been quite an adventure, very interesting and very impactful. To God be all the glory. Church Gist. All these things happening at His frequency, responding to His tasks with utmost delight. You won’t be tired of following God.
