I was moved to tears because there are people out here, what is feet washing? I don’t believe that. Stay there. Can I tell you this? That boy never walked for three years, feet washed on Wednesday night, Thursday, he was playing football. Anything I teach you, you can’t find in the Bible. Trash it please. Church Gist. I was in my office when He came down to me, “If I wash thee not, thou hast no part in me.” What? When I hear from God, I know. Feet washing is one of the mysteries that gave us Africa. The Bible does not require your view. Your opinion is your cup of tea, you can’t do anything against the truth but for the truth.

You can’t be on board a flight cruising at 60,000 feet above sea level and still be at the airport building. No! If you are truly on board. But you purchase the ticket to get on board. Church Gist. There is a price to play. Not that you want to go, have you paid for the ticket.

• These showers of blessings today will drench you with blessings as you respond to His Word.
• The Comforter is here. The Holy Ghost is here. He is showing you right now, things to come.

Jesus let today’s service answer in everyone’s life. Your blessings make rich and add no sorrow. Let every trace of sorrow clear off everyone’s life. Destroy the siege of depression today. Destroy that siege of sickness and disease today. Church Gist. Let your goodness and mercy be made manifest today and take all the glory at the end. Save the lost today, restore the backslidden today, restore peace in every home today, let every siege of misfortune be shattered. Open up every closed door today and let your name be glorified in Jesus name.

When God delivered the Shiloh mandate, the core mission is dominion. Joshua 18:1-3. Shiloh 2026 will confirm next level authority on your life. You won’t beg issues anymore. If I were you, it is not the time to junket about and say you are on holiday. Every battle of your life confronts you as an individual and they happen when others are not around. The battle against Peter took place when others had left. Your adventure demands conferment of personal spiritual authority. So whether in the night or the day, be in charge. He that overcometh, not they that overcometh, he. It is for individuals.

I had one drama one night, I saw myself in a coffin. Right there, the word surged in me in my sleep. “Satan, you must be a dummy. Is it not written? Church Gist. There is no wisdom or knowledge in the grave. No one sees himself in the grave and stays there. Get off.” The thing was in my spirit. You better get what we are talking about.

We lost one engine in the plane. Relax. Turn back to Lagos. Are you an aviator? No! I am a commander. Please mind your personal adventure. Don’t be lost in the crowd. Church Gist. Church is not a club, it is God’s family. I want that message of yesterday to go out, church is not a religious centre, it is a school. Whether you are prepared or not, you take lectures, you write tests. If you fail, you remain in the same class.

Understanding The Ministry Of The Holy Spirit Part 2.

If I may jump in here. Two most powerful ministries of the Holy Spirit include guidance in a confused world. Church Gist. Assurance and certainty of your steps. He will guide you into all truths.

To be guided divinely is an asset. When the Lord guides you, you shall not want. When the Lord guides you, Psalm 23:4-6. Church Gist. That’s His ministry, He guides us off the paths of regrets. He guides us in the path of fulfilment.

John 16:13-14. Nothing can be more refreshing when you see the end of the battle. Hebrews 12:2. You can’t see the end of a battle and be worried in the course of the battle. Church Gist. Can I show you this? Back in 1984, I saw God spoke to me, “my son, there’s a place for you on top of you’re interested”, that’s is from Deuteronomy 28:1, I said, “yes Lord, I am”. “Then, whatever I tell you to do, do it”. What is on top? Above all nations. Church Gist. Come on now. Hear what I said, you know I can be very sarcastic when it comes to things like that, “I’ll consider it a demotion if I were invited to be president of Nigeria, a great nation”. My God. I saw me off that. Won’t you be worried if they say I’m running for presidency? Won’t you be worried? They say I’m running, you’ll say “ah! Kilode Baba?” I saw it when Church was under 40. Church Gist. 40 human beings, Pastor’s Children are there. I saw it. He’ll show you things to come. When we were under the grass, I saw it. When we got quit notice from two miserable plot, I saw it. Amen. He will you show things to come. Nothing can be more refreshing than seeing the end of the tunnel while it is still very dark. That’s the ministry of the Holy spirit.

You have heard me say severally, “I’m not surprised that we are where we are. Thank God for bringing us there, I would have been surprised if we were not there”. Why? He showed it.

• No more tension on your path.

Please, embrace the ministry of the Holy Spirit, it’s not for tongue speaking, He has bodily ministry to you and me. Embrace Him.

• You’re going places! It’s your turn.
• In the course of this meeting, those who are not baptized in the Holy Spirit yet, with an open heart and fixing your eyes on Jesus the baptizer, you’ll be filled with the Holy Spirit right there where you are in the name of Jesus.

A woman met me in those early days in 1993 in our office and she had gone everywhere looking for the Holy Spirit because in those days, people pray and fast and fast before they’re filled. Church Gist. So, she came to me and said, “well, I’ve gone to this place and this place, yet I’m not filled”. I said, “wait a minute. You went to wrong places and wrong people”. She looked, I said, “no, those are the ones I respected”. I said, “Jesus is the baptizer, if you fix your eyes on Him right now, right in my office here, you’ll be filled in the Holy Ghost”. She started speaking in tongues. I didn’t lay hands on her, she just fixed her eyes on the Baptizer. Church Gist. When He comes, He’ll baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire, He’s the one that baptizes you, not the pastors. We only help your faith by laying hands on you. Can I hear your Amen? Church Gist. So, if you’re not baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, fix your eyes on Jesus. It’s your day!

One Pastor Joseph, now a pastor I mean, got the book, The Miracle Seed, a Catholic young boy, got saved in chapter 1, got filled with the Holy Spirit in Chapter 3 without anybody around, without anybody praying over him. Church Gist. Jesus is still the Baptizer today. There’s no substitute for the ministry of the Holy spirit. Collecting prayer from corner to corner won’t solve your problems, there’s no substitute. Church Gist. He’s your permanent resident Helper, when He comes in, you can be helped. And that’s your new place in the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus.

The Holy Spirit has diverse manifestations, different administration – manifests Himself through several channels. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. Church Gist. His diverse operations is for our profitable living. And today, we’ll be checking out on aspect of His operations which is called the Spirit of Faith.

2 Corinthians 4:13. The spirit of Faith is the same for all generations. It’s effect is the same in all generations. 2 Corinthians 4:13. Jude 1:3. Church Gist. The same for all generations, effect is same for all generations. Impact, same in all generations. Can I say this before we go on? This one good news about the Good News. And what is it? Every covenant of Scriptures delivers wherever the sun shines. Jeremiah 33:20-21. Church Gist. That is the good news about the Good News. There’s no racial advantage, no colour advantage of disadvantage, He’s made all nations of one blood. Acts 17:26. Romans 10:12. Neither white nor black, same Lord. Galatians 3:27-28. That is the good news about the Good News. It applies to everybody at the same level, same rate, delivers results at the same rate. Church Gist. I will never be a racist but God is not White, God is not Black, God is God. Amen. God is not White oh, God is not Black, God is not yellow, God is God and every race is created in His image. So, He’s multi-colour God.

It doesn’t have to be white to be right. We are yet to receive any succour from the West as a ministry, not once! Not that we got it before and we’re no longer getting it. No temptation to borrow, freedom from indebtedness, immune from indebtedness. Church Gist. Please, wake up! I don’t care where you live, if you’re not in the Covenant, you’ll pay for it. Your stand in the Word will work anywhere. The Spirit of faith is same for all generations, for all regions, for all races, for all colours.

When I saw what Wigglesworth did, we were in a crusade and then as we came back from the Crusade Field, a human sized structure rolled out through the door of the room and a huge bird leapt from the window (shouting). I told them, I said “Everybody go and sleep, the devil has no right to tell us when to pray. Church Gist. Go and sleep. When you wake up in the morning, anybody looks stiff, just touch them, don’t pray. Goodnight” You say “Did you wake up?” That’s why I’m here. Same for all generations, same for all regions, same for all colours, wake up! I wrote a piece I called ‘The Star’s Creed’ and in that poem I was just writing that you are not disadvantaged, you are not underprivileged, you are just in shape.

Can I tell you something? You may laugh if you want to. In those days when I used to travel by public flight, I prayed that I would miss my flight, I don’t want to leave. Let them cancel this flight so I can tell them who invited me that they cancelled the flight and then some human beings in Church will be going by road or by boat. They now pack you like sardines. ‘What are you looking for?’ You say ‘I don’t know, I’m just going’ No, not here!

• In the precious name of Jesus, whatever faith has wrought in any generation, it will work in your life.
• What a joy, you are where the Spirit of faith is actively at work. Today, you are leaving here with a fresh baptism of the Spirit of faith.

Note that every blessing requires faith for delivery. Mark 6:5,6. Church Gist. We cannot take full delivery of the blessings of the Gospel without faith.

WHY DO WE NEED THE SPIRIT OF FAITH? Please follow. Five reasons we need the Spirit of faith;

1. Faith shall be under the worst attack in these last days. Luke 18:8. Church Gist. People will go all out for alternatives, but ‘when the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith in the earth?” 1 Timothy 4:1,2.
2. While common faith secures our common salvation, we are required to contend for the more than conquerors faith that was once delivered to the saints. Church Gist. With common faith we have common salvation, but to live a triumphant life, we need the Spirit of faith. Jude 1:3.
3. Only strong faith can stand the wild storms of life. Matthew 8:26-28. Little faith can’t withstand the wild storms of life. Church Gist. We need the Spirit of faith to see that happen. Ephesians 6:16.
4. Strong faith is required to maintain a quality walk with God, standing for the truth under the harshest conditions. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Genesis 17:1-2,11. You saw Abraham circumcise himself at the age of 90. Awesome God! Strong faith is required to maintain a quality walk with God. Church Gist. Can you imagine God saying “Shut down the Church in town, come to this forest” It’s naturally unbearable but spiritually a non issue. The Spirit of faith picked it and ran with it and see where we are today! That’s why we need the Spirit of faith.
5. Everything that works in the Kingdom, works by faith. Habakkuk 2:4. Romans 1:17. Galatians 3:11. Hebrews 10:38. Church Gist. It takes the Spirit of faith not to draw back from faith when confronted with harsh situations. It takes the Spirit of faith not to draw back.

WHAT ARE THE MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SPIRIT OF FAITH? We look at 5 of them;

1. Faith empowers the believer to believe all things. How many things? What we believe is what we are empowered to become. The Spirit of faith empowers you to believe all things. Church Gist. Acts 24:14. The Spirit of faith empowers us to believe all things that the Word says and what is the result? Philippians 4:13. When you believe all things, you’ll have the command over all things.
2. The Spirit of faith allays all fears in the midst of the storm, puts you ever at rest while the storms are raging. You are supernatural at rest when storms are raging. “They that believed have entered into rest” The Spirit of faith puts you to rest in spite of the raging storms. Church Gist. Christ was fast asleep on a pillow. My God! Water was filling the boat, Christ was asleep. The Spirit of faith gets you at rest in spite of the raging storms of life. Hebrews 4:3. Exodus 14:14. So God takes over your battle when you are at rest. He’s the One fighting our battles for us as a Commission. Church Gist. I mean, we have won many unfought battles as a commission. He just steps in and clears it and they think that we are so smart, no! The Spirit of faith puts you to rest and God takes over your fight.

• Watch out, the days of apprehensions, anxieties, are over in your life! Can I hear your loudest Amen?

1. He speaks the unspeakable by speaking through us. That will not be somebody like David speaking that loud against Goliath. A force must be speaking through him. That could not have been Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego bragging against the fiery furnace. A force was at work within them. Now, Matthew 10:19-20. The Spirit of Faith is a speaking Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:13. He’s a speaking spirit. Most times is unspeakable. Can you imagine? “I can never be poor.” Are you fighting? No! “I can never be sick.” What’s the matter? Church Gist. That’s the matter. It speaks when it comes alive. It speaks through you the unspeakables. “One billion witches can’t stand my way.” He speaks it. When that Spirit comes alive in you, it speaks what you cannot speak naturally.

• In the name of Jesus, receive a baptism of the Spirit of Faith right there where you are sitting!
• You will not live your life to chance anymore in the name of Jesus!

They said, “the child is dead.” He said, “why are you making so much noise?” The child is not dead. He’s sleeping. Okay folks, let’s go and wake up our friend Lazarus because he’s sleeping. Sleeping? We will travel from here to that place? Four days dead! He said, “he was sleeping.” When they called him, did he answer or not? Because he was sleeping. When Jesus said, “he was sleeping,” he turned the dead to sleep. Church Gist. You shall have whatever you say. Stop saying I have what you don’t want. “I have backache.” Then it comes, for you shall have whatever you say. My head is just like somebody is putting axe on it. Then they come to start putting axe on it. “In this Country where we live this, now let me tell you the truth; nothing is working. People are only pretending.” Okay. Nothing works anymore. God doesn’t know jokes. Ecclesiastes 5:6-7.

• Please receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of Faith today!

He’s ever on the positive in line with scriptures. The Spirit of Faith puts you on the positive in line with scriptures. During the days when my wife’s health was challenged, I told my son one day, I said, “David, look here. When I pray, God hears.” We are not praying for activity. When I pray, God hears and you saw my life. Zero apprehension. Nobody had room to greet me. For what? For victory? You shout with me for victory. Thank you, Jesus.

Look, I wanted it badly and I got it. Please get it today. Get it today. Hagin never laid hands on me. He was teaching. Church Gist. The Spirit came on me as he was teaching. I’m teaching today something must come into you!

• It’s your turn at last!

We got a very interesting testimony from Kaduna yesterday. It happened last week. Some armed bandits went and began to raid a particular area. They raided everywhere here and there. This man has an “I am a Winner” sticker on his door. The Hausa man speaking Hausa that was leading the gang, he saw it (and) he said, “pass, pass from that place.” Here you are now, there’s no sticker of Jesus in your house. Church Gist. There’s no “I Am A Winner” there. So who are you? Where are you going? People were carried to the hospital, they beat them (and) carried their goods including women. This man’s window was opened – a media man. All his gadgets and equipment are in the house. They saw the sticker, they said, “no, no, no.” You don’t want trouble, pass! Prophetic coverings are real. It’s when the jungle matures, you will know.

Prophetic coverings are real. Your car, not official car, has no sticker. In your house, no sticker. What kind of Christianity is your own? “I’m M.D. MD of who? Does the devil know MD? Somebody had a crash in Lokoja and then a trailer or whatever container fell on his car at the filling station and they carried him to the mortuary. Somebody else was driving. He saw, “I Am A Winner” sticker in that wrecked car. Church Gist. He said, I want to know where they put this person. They said mortuary. He said, “I’ll go there.” He went there. He said, “I want to know where they put this person.” They said, “come to the morgue.” By the time he got to the morgue, he saw that one hand was shaking. They rushed him and picked him back to the…He stood on this altar. What brought him out of the morgue? A sticker. What brought him out?

Some Fulani herdsmen caught some people on Ibadan road and they asked them to come down. When they opened the man’s bag, they saw the Bible, “I’m A Winner” – a sticker (I’m A Winner). ‘You come here.’ All the others line up (and) enter the car. They gave him money to come down. Sticker! Now, am I selling stickers? I said, don’t buy from anywhere. Go and print. There’s no copyright. Go and print. ‘They want to collect our money.’ Nobody needs your money. I’m an author of several millions in circulation. Church Gist. I’ve not received one dime as royalty since 1985 till date. Is that me that would be selling stickers? I will now go down and be selling stickers? Question: are you a winner? Where is your ID? Thank you, Jesus.

4. Now the Spirit of Faith dares the undarable. You know God will tell you some things to do and then, you don’t have the fortitude to engage with it but the Spirit of Faith demystifies undarables. Church Gist. This Tabernacle shall be built in one year and dedicated September 18th, 1999 – the tallest order anybody can receive on a construction. Did it happen or not? Why? The Spirit of Faith made it easy to receive and God stepped in to perform.

Now, you can’t face the Red Sea as a normal human being and be leading a people when you are not a wizard. But the Spirit of Faith received the command, “go forward” and as he led the army, the sea saw them and it fled. Church Gist. It takes the Spirit of Faith to pick it. Great things lie ahead of you. You require the Spirit of Faith to catch it.

“It’s time to get the aircraft.” What an instruction! And I said, “God just told me it’s time to get the aircraft.” Okay, folks, we’re going to give; give whatever you can give. Church Gist. Praise God, because I know what they give can’t buy it. He’s the One who said it’s time to get it. Faith picked it. God’s hand performed it.

• In the name of Jesus, your next lifting will not be lost!

Covenant University was built within seven months, March 6, 2002 to October 21, 2002. First phase finished. Church Gist. No pressure, no hanky-panky. Faith received it; God hand performed it. That’s why you need the spirit of faith. Amen!

5. The spirit of faith secures the victory before the battle. Come on now! The spirit of faith does what? Secures the victory before the battle. Joshua and Caleb said, “We are well able to take the land and possess it.” The spirit of faith secures the victory before the battle. That’s why it puts you at rest. Church Gist. The b@ttle is rag!ng, but the victory is assured. That’s why you are ever at rest; it secures the victory before the b@ttle. Faith is never surprised at victory. It secures it before the b@ttle came on. The spirit of faith secures the victory before the b@ttle. Why am I saying all this? So you can genuinely crave for this.

Now, how do I receive the spirit of faith? The spirit of faith is imparted principally through words, whether printed or spoken. “And the spirit entered into me when He spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard Him that spake with me.” Church Gist. The spirit entered into me when He spake unto me and set me upon my feet. Access to the voice of God either from the teachings or from your readings imparts the spirit of faith. When God speaks, the spirit of faith enters. You can’t hear His voice and doubt Him.

• I therefore pray that the same hearing capacity of Christ will become your portion today!

The Words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life. John 6:63. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the Word. Acts 10:44. But we are required to note the following:

1. Identify a carrier. You can’t give what you don’t have. Identify a carrier of the spirit of faith and connect to access what such carriers carry. Matthew 25:9, in the parable of the five foolish and five wise virgins: “Go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” Church Gist. Frederick KC Price got the book ‘Redeemed From P0verty, Sîckness And Spiritual D3ath,” a little pamphlet from Kenneth Hagin. It opened up his spirit man; changed his ministry forever.

Kenneth E. Hagin said he never met Wigglesworth, but he read all he could lay hands upon about him and from him and that something from him rubbed into him. He caught something from Wigglesworth’s ministry. Church Gist. The spirit of faith bellowed on him. “Go ye to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” By the grace of God, I read virtually all that Hagin wrote some three times, some four times.

2. Receive the person and ministry of the carrier. “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.” Church Gist. You receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, you will access what the prophet carries. Matthew 10:41. Identify a carrier. Receive the person and ministry of the carrier.
3. Honor the carrier in your heart. Jesus said a prophet is not without honor, except in his own country; and so He could there do no mighty work. Church Gist. He could not impart on them because they lacked honor in their heart for Him. “They draw near Me with their mouth, but their heart is far from Me”. Isaiah 29:13. Honor the carrier in your heart.
4. Crave for what he carries, like Elisha did. “Lord, I want double portion of your spirit upon Elijah in my life.” Church Gist. And it happened. They could say after he returned, “The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha.” Same effect! Different generations, same effect!

• My desire is that the same spirit of faith at work in me comes alive in you!

The most palpable proof of that spirit is rest. What did I call it? Rest! The most palpable proof of the manifestation of that spirit of faith is rest. So you are ever on the winning side.

In Galatians chapter 3:13-14, It says, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: Church Gist. for it is written, cursed is everyone hangeth on a tree: that the blessings may come to replace the curses.

· God’s blessings are overturning every trace of generational curse in anyone’s life!

Jesus paid the price on the cross. It’s your right and my right to go with the goods.

· As you partake of the flesh and the blood of Jesus today, the effect of spells and enchantment against anyone shall be blotted out!

Numbers 23:23. John 10:10. Colossians 2:13-14. That issue is not permitted to survive. Church Gist. When Jesus went to the cross, He nailed everything against you to the cross. So, whatever has been against you in any form, against your family, against your children is nailed to the cross already and none of them rose with Christ. So, they are left in the grave.

· Now every torment of the wicked gets down to the grave!

Therefore, expect the siege of sickness, stagnation, failure, misfortune, etc. to clear off your life as you partake of the communion today.

· Well, the blessings are here!

· Your blessing is speaking!

Now let me say this: Obedience of faith is the gateway to a world of sweatless blessings. Church Gist. If you will diligently hearken to my voice, observe and do what I tell you to do, I will set you high above all nations of the earth and all these blessings will come to you and overtake you. Obedience of faith is the gateway to a world of sweatless blessings. Faith has come. Your obedience is revitalized.

· You won’t scorn the word of God anymore!

· You won’t despise the word of God anymore!

· You won’t despise the instruction of God anymore!

Can I say this to help us? Please note that 75% of scriptures is made up of instructions.75%. So, if you are not disposed to instructions, you can’t make much out of your life in the faith. It’s all about instructions. All scriptures are given by inspiration of God and are profitable along these four channels: Doctrines which are principles, corrections, reproofs and instructions. The three of them are instructions. Church Gist.The profitability of the believer is in its alignment with the instructions of scriptures. Instructions… We are flying about with principles. Settle in with instructions. That is the gateway to a world of sweatless blessings.

Another vital key to sustaining God’s blessings is serving God with joyfulness and gladness of heart. It is your privilege. It’s not a burden. Serving God is a God-given privilege. The Lord said to me, I’ve not called you because you are smarter than anybody else. I’ve only given you a privilege. Should you abuse it, there are better hundreds at the door. Stop dragging your feet as if God is depending on you. It’s your privilege. Church Gist. Deuteronomy 28:47-48. See your stewardship as a privilege and nothing but a privilege. Don’t brag at God. He told me that at the beginning 1981. I’ve not called you because you are better than anybody else. I’ve only given you a privilege. Should you abuse it, there are better hundreds at the door. So, I treasure the privilege. I walk as one who knows there are people to replace him.

· You won’t lose your crown!

Joyfulness and gladness of heart is what makes stewardship profitable. Deuteronomy 28:47-48. Church Gist. I caught that light in July 1977 when my niece was doing her birthday and I just came fresh from that revelation. She said, “Brother, what gift do you have for me today? I said, “wait Deuteronomy 28:47-48”. I knew when I found it, sir. Joyfulness and gladness of heart. No one has ever encouraged me to do what I’m doing and you can’t discourage me, James. No, you insulting me can’t touch me because I know where I’m going. Praise God! Joyfulness and gladness of heart. Not that you are going for WSF and you are hissing…. another 5:00. I know where I would have been now… You know, my community is meeting…. did they beg you to it? Why are you working yourself down? Please, wake up!

They gave you a privilege to do house fellowship and then when they are coming…. they’re coming again… you know some of them are trekking, they will now put on this carpet. I know how much I paid to buy this carpet. It’s God’s fault who gave you carpet. Please, lose up! Serving God as a burden is a curse. You won’t suffer a curse! So, you’ll be smiling. Serving ministers, be smiling. Don’t look at anybody coming and say, “Ah, they have come to add to our trouble.” Smiling. Sweep your house. Keep it clean for the people. We are going to the same heaven. Church Gist. We are going to the same heaven. There are no boys’ quarters in heaven. There are only mansions. Everyone that makes heaven will enter into the mansion. So, you have a mansion in heaven. So, don’t harass anybody with your flat here. Everybody has a mansion in heaven. Praise God.

You are the one God is talking to and then through priestly blessings. Priests are ordained to proclaim blessings and God is out there to confirm it.

· The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord cause His face to shine upon thee. The Lord be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee and give thee peace in the name of Jesus!
