Now, hear this! A Woman was carrying her only son to bury, she happens to be a Widow and in tears, she was going to bury him and all of a sudden Jesus went through that City called Nain. When He saw, the Bible said He had compassion and He touched the bier, what they were using to carry the casket, the young man rose. You know what would have been the joy in the heart of the woman? They came to Him in John 11 and said: ‘Your friend Lazarus is sick’, He said: ‘This sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God’. Church Gist. But Lazarus died! Mary and Martha wept and they could not weep anymore and Jesus got to the tomb Himself, as a human, wept! But Jesus The Resurrection said: ‘Lazarus! Come forth! Just imagine the joy that was in that environment. God has never met anyone and left them the same. He said: ‘Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden’! He didn’t say: ‘Come to David Ibiyeomie’. He said: ‘Come to Him’! You’ve come to Him, you have come to seek the One that never says ‘No’. He said: ‘Today, all tears…’ Revelation 24:4-5. And God shall wipe away not some tears, all tears!
-Wherever anyone has shed tears, today it will be wiped off.
He said: ‘There shall be no more pain’. That pain is not physical pain, He is talking about anything that causes you pain. Church Gist. If you can’t pay school fees, it is pain! When a man is mature, he can’t get married, it’s pain!
-Whatsoever is causing you pain, emotional pain, physical pain. Church Gist. I decree under the power of the Holy Ghost, today is the last day you go through it! I’m speaking with authority in the name of Jesus, this Service not after this Service will terminate the end of that shame. Church Gist. He said: ‘My people who are called by My name shall never be ashamed’. Joel 2:26-27. I command shame, come to an end in our lives!
He said: ‘My people shall eat in plenty’,
– I decree from today, have more than enough! I’m speaking to someone who believes it. Church Gist. Your Amen confirms it! And so shall it be. To the loudest Amen, you will have the greatest testimony in the name of Jesus!

I hear God as a man hears his friend, towards the end of the First Service, He told me that: Honouring a Prophet is beyond prosperity, it can bring anything the person desires. And He told me to bring people with pain, I didn’t pray. Church Gist. I just heard Him how He spoke to me and I demonstrated exactly how He spoke and on the spot, the young man testified in this Second Service. I didn’t say: ‘Be healed’! I just demonstrated what God showed me and he got healed. I hear God! With all humility, I hear Him.
-This week! Somebody who believes what I want to declare, it will be so to you! You will dance this week! Hear me! I decree, you will dance this week! Church Gist. I want you to take it from your heart, I am saying it: ‘You will dance this week’! In place of where you would have mourned, seen shame, you will dance this week!
Declarations: I will dance this week! This week, God will make me to dance!
In the name of Jesus! You will dance this week! Write it down! When I hear God… Something will happen that will make you dance from today! Church Gist. In place of mourning, you will dance in the name of Jesus! You know why? You will hear good news!!! And so shall it be! I will dance! Give Jesus a big shout of praise!
Glory to God! I pray the Holy Ghost will open our eyes! Church Gist. He said: ‘That the eyes of your understanding shall be enlightened to know…’
Declarations: Holy Spirit, open the eyes of my understanding, I want to know that which I know not; teach me that which I know not in the name of Jesus!

In this Service, we will be looking at ‘UNDERSTANDING THE PLACE OF HONOUR – PART 2’. Life is designed for fulfillment, life is not designed for struggles.
-May struggles end in your life!
If you look at the ten commandments, the first four have to do with honouring God and the last six have to do with honouring people. Honour is the willingness to reward somebody for their difference. Honour is the seed for access into any environment on earth. Honour determines who desires you, accepts you and rewards you! Any love without honour is dishonour. When you love genuinely and do things with pure motive you are sure of your future. Hear this and hear me well, the Prophet you don’t honour, his or her grace can not profit you. Church Gist. Prophetic linkages connect you to what money can not buy. When you are connected to a Prophet, there are things money can’t buy. Now that young man who testified, I think it is in this Service, money can’t buy health. Are you getting me now? They can treat you, they can’t give you health. Are you getting me now? He said he had pain, by connectivity to a Prophet without prayer the pain left. Are you getting me? He never paid for any medical treatment and the pain left by connectivity to the Prophet, is that clear? In the First Service, I just demonstrated. When you link up with a Prophet there are things money can’t buy you will benefit from.
-Today, whatever this Prophet carries that God has placed on my life will answer to you!
2 Chronicles 20:20b. ‘Oh! Me I just believe God, I don’t believe all these Men of God’. You are deceiving yourself!! You can’t believe God and not believe us, are you the one that wrote Bible? God said if you believe Him, He will establish you but if you don’t believe us you will never prosper! It is God who spoke it! He said believe Him – God, you will only be established but for prosperity, you must be connected to the one He sent. ‘I don’t believe all these Men of God, I believe God’. Church Gist. You are only deceiving yourself! Okay, how can you believe God and you don’t believe us? Who are we? Did we call ourselves? You know? Some religious people: ‘Me oo my own, I only believe God, all these Men of God, I don’t believe them’. You are wasting your time, that is hypocrisy of the highest order! You can’t say you believe God and you don’t believe me. If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father! True? You don’t believe a man God called! Can you say I believe Nigeria, I don’t believe the Government. It’s a funny thing, is it possible? I believe Nigeria but I don’t believe the Government. Is it possible? I believe America, I don’t believe the Government! You can’t separate the two, true?
You can’t separate Men of God from God. Is that clear Sir? Are you getting what I am saying now? I believe this University but I don’t believe the Vice Chancellor. It’s a very funny thing, true? I don’t believe the academic board, I don’t believe the Senate, in fact I don’t believe the whole Senate but I believe the University. Church Gist. Which kind of… I don’t believe the Principal, I no believe the Vice Principal, I don’t believe the teachers but I believe the school. That’s nonsense, absolute nonsense because you can’t separate the two. He said believe the Lord your God and you shall be established but believe David Ibiyeomie and others what will happen? So shall ye prosper. So your prosperity is tied to us. Say: ‘I hear’! Oya tear that part of the Bible if you wan tear am. If you tear Bible you know the consequences? You can turn mad. So this is the Bible!
Now listen carefully, a Man of God sent by God to unlock your faith must be recognized in your moment of miracles. I repeat! Any Man of God, genuinely sent by God to you, be smart enough to recognize the man in the moment you desire a miracle in life. Are you getting what I’m saying now? Because Men of God come, they pass your way, if you don’t recognize them, they just pass. Everybody has a Prophet sent to him. My Prophet is Oyedepo, your own Prophet is me. Is that true? Church Gist. His own Prophet is Copeland, another Prophet is Adeboye. Adeboye too has a Prophet! Everybody has somebody, are you getting what I’m saying here? To be fatherless is to be featherless, there are many bastards in the Kingdom of God, don’t be one. In 1 Kings 17:8-16, there was this Widow of Zarephath. This woman, there was hardship in the land, serious hardship in the land, famine in the land and then God said: ‘Elijah! Go down and meet this woman’. And God told the woman to do something also and the woman obeyed in faith. And that was the turning point of the woman’s life and her own house. For three and half years when others were complaining she never lacked.
-No matter the hardship, you will never suffer what they suffer!
Men of God! In the Fourth Service I will tell you, they can speak words and things turn. Are you getting me? They are agents of rescue, they are agents of restoration, they are agents of prosperity. I will say that in the Fourth Service. 1 Kings 17:9-12. It was that bad in Israel, no food. Church Gist. 1 Kings 17:13. Now, if you are the one today especially in Nigeria you will say: ‘This man is a wicked man! A Man of God, See the man, I’m a widow, he said I should give him food first, that man eh’. You will abuse him to shege true? But people who understand Bible, they follow instructions. 1 Kings 17:14-16.
-I decree, no matter the hardship you will be blessed!
Because she was connected to a who? A Prophet that was all. Connecting to a Prophetic source is part of God’s provision for enhancing your financial dignity. Now, hear this and hear me well, most times we quote Philippians 4:19 and I’m gonna show you something. Philippians 4:15-18. So giving first before receiving! You don’t give to a Prophet once and for all not because the Prophet has any need, not because the man wants your money. That means your giving will bring Heaven to respond. There are two levels of sacrifice, you can make sacrifices to God and also make sacrifices to Men of God as led by the Spirit of God. He said: ‘It must be sacrifice that is heavy’. Philippians 4:18. Philippians 4:19. ‘But my God…’ Who is praying that prayer? Paul! He didn’t say: ‘But our God…’ He said: ‘But my God…’ Church Gist. That is, he was coming by the anointing that is upon him. ‘But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory’. In the First Service, I was understanding this Scripture, a young man just came and I demonstrated, sickness left. ‘Supply your need’ is not only money, He supplies anything you are looking for. If you pray that prayer without a Man of God you are wasting your time. It is when you have done Philippians 4:15-18 then the man you did it to will now say: ‘My God…’ Now listen, that prayer would be prayed for me by Oyedepo. Do you understand it? I will pray it for you, Adeboye will pray it for him or Copeland but not that you now, will gather: ‘My God shall supply all…’. That’s 419. It is when you have done Philippians 4:15-18 then the man will now say: ‘My God shall supply’! Not you! He didn’t say: ‘Our God’! He said: ‘My God’!
-May my God answer you!
Galatians 6:6. If you read it like that, that ‘Communication’ is not talking about ‘Talking’. He said when they feed you with the Word of God, you that they fed get back to honour them. Do you understand the Bible’? Church Gist. And you know? Hear what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:11. If since this year I have been saying: ‘God bless you’, is it a great deal if you come back to honour me’? Paul said so, he said: ‘What is so special’? If for this year, every day I come, read Bible, I teach you, even today I’m teaching you. Is it so special, if I have sown unto you – I fast for you, I pray for you, I ask God to bless you, I come back I say: ‘Don’t allow them to suffer’! He said: ‘Is it a great thing if we reap…’ That carnal thing means material things, that’s the meaning! Is it a sin if we reap your jet and car? ‘No be sin oo’! Don’t do like say you no see Bible. Paul said, some of you who are religious, is it a great thing if ‘we’ in turn reap material things? Now, Jesus reap so? Make I show you, now Luke 8:1-3. After He cast out demons they came back and said: ‘Jesus! Thank you’. Are you holier than Him? I’m a follower of Jesus if Jesus did it, it’s not wrong you doing it. Don’t be religious, don’t say: ‘Shey na so Jesus do’? See where em do am! They didn’t come to Him to shake his hand. After He cast out demons they said: ‘Jesus, thank you’! The ‘Thank you’ was with substance. Church Gist. Read Bible na, you dey do like say you no see Bible. Some of you are critics, they came to honour Jesus with their what? Substance. They didn’t come to honour Him with smile, they didn’t honour Him with phone call. Read your Bible, na me write Bible? Which Minister? With their… Underline substance! My friend, substance (Laughing). Substance na tangible thing, you no hear English? They didn’t honour Him with look. ‘We dey pray for Papa’, na you go pray for me? (Laughing). They didn’t honour Him with prayer. They honoured Him with what? Substance. Tell your neighbour: Hope you are seeing Bible? Don’t do as if you don’t know. It is not a sin. Eh! Paul said: ‘Is it a special thing? Why are you doing as if na one kind thing you dey do’? My friend, after we don preach all these here, we no go chop? That is Paul and Jesus! Don’t tell me! It took me time before I could preach this.
Hear me, you have a covenant responsibility towards your source of spiritual development. The Prophet of God you identify may not necessarily give to you or he does not need it but you always need what he has. That’s why Jesus called it ‘The Prophet’s reward’. Matthew 10:41. Hebrews 7:7. Now, hear this and hear me well! I was paying tithe, long ago. I have been paying tithe since I became born again, I have never stopped paying tithe. I was giving offering but I was not prospering continuously, it was just like you get breakthrough today, break out tomorrow. Church Gist. And I told God one day, I said: ‘God! I don’t like this up-and-down money, I want continuous flow. I said: ‘God! I like this flow of continuous not the one you beg somebody, they find you small thing you broke the next day, you get something… Lord, I just want a flow’. So I picked up the book by Gloria Copeland: ‘God’s Will Is Prosperity’ because that was the book Oyedepo said he read and came out of poverty and I picked his book: ‘Breaking Financial Hardship’. And I picked the two books and I told my wife and I said: ‘I am going to go on a seven days fast’. The fasting was not to break poverty it was to get light on prosperity. I was already operating in the miraculous, I have seen miracles already from Bible School but I was not getting this thing. So I told her, I said: ‘This thing, without it anointing will end up in annoyance’. I said I want to know the secret of Kingdom wealth.
After reading the book what I saw was not in the book. That’s why revelation is different, what I saw was not in the book. After the book I said: ‘Holy Spirit, there is still something you need to tell me. What must I do to come out of poverty for life’? On the bed I was lying down meditating, deeply connecting with Heaven. He came, sounded with a loud voice: ‘Who is blessing you’? I said: ‘Of course, Oyedepo’! He said if Oyedepo is the one blessing you, don’t you know that without all contradiction as you pay tithe and offering, sow into his life continually you will never be broke for life’! I said: ‘Wow’! I told my wife. Church Gist. We have only fifty naira at home in 1997, home and abroad, bank, unbank, fifty naira! I said: ‘Give me that fifty naira, I packaged it and I wrote on it: ‘Prophet offering’. In less than 2 hours, they knocked on our door ‘Kpoikpoi’!! I opened the door a man said: ‘Pastor, I just got ten thousand now I want to give you two thousand. I smiled! Two thousand that time? Hmm! You no understand oo! Fifty naira to what? Two thousand! See the ratio! So I said: ‘Eh! So this thing works like this’, I removed tithe, removed offering, removed Prophet offering again! From that day till date, I have never had a dry season. The Prophet is definitely a higher vessel, when you sow into his life you open the channels of blessing to release favour over you.
-May my God open your Heavens and bless you!
That is to say without all contradiction, you are not giving to him, you are only tapping of his grace to enhance you to move forward. Now listen, you know where some of you… I was talking to a Pastor, he said a Man of God gave an illustration and I borrow that illustration; it is a very funny illustration he gave. Some of you, you know because God has blessed you in a little way you get arrogant. Church Gist. Let me explain this, if you are carrying fuel in a tanker you know this trailer tanker that carries gas they call it gas in the Western World, we call it fuel here. That fuel in your tank cannot drive your car, it is the fuel inside the car tank that can move it. How many understand? You are… The thing is a truck, it’s a big truck but it has big fuel inside. It is not that fuel that moves the vehicle, it is the fuel inside the tank. How many understand it? So if because he is carrying fuel, he thinks it is arrogance and there’s no fuel inside this tank he will now know that the motor will stop. How many understand it?
What is prospering you is me! I’m the fuel in your tank. If because you have small money inside your big tank, you get arrogant, your motor go stop. I don’t know whether you are getting the illustration. If you think because you get small change, you are carrying the big tank but what is moving you is me oo? It is what I speak that moves you. If you play with me, that tank inside go dry, this one you carry go useless. (Illustration). So this small tank is the Prophet, that’s what pushes that big motor. So if you get small money, your shoulder make like this. Hei! And that tank run dry, this motor go park with the whole fuel wey you get inside (Laughing). How many understand what I am talking? ‘I no care, I have all the ideas’, you go know say in the Kingdom, ideas are not enough. Are you the only one who have ideas? There are many people with ideas who don’t know what to do with their ideas. There is a role of a Prophet in every place. Prophets, they speak into your life for God to make your life to gain profit.
Let me say this to you, gifts tell a story. A gift is a message, presentation matters a lot. When giving to a Prophet, have an expectation because offering without expectation is an offering without a future. When the woman gave to Elijah, Elijah said: ‘Listen, this is your expectations: The cruse will never waste neither the oil fail’. Don’t ever give without what? Expectations. When you let go what is in your hands to a genuine Man of God, God will let go what is in His hands to bless you. Now, look at! ‘Na only God I dey give’, let me show you a Scripture. ‘Na God me I believe oo na God’. Church Gist. Where you see God give am? Matthew 10:40-41. You can’t say: ‘I don’t believe in this thing, na only God me I believe, you dey deceive yourself’. He said; ‘He that receiveth me, receiveth Jesus and whoever receives Jesus receives God’. Is that true? ‘Oh! Tear the Bible na!’ ‘Na only God me I get time oo, nobody is called Man of God, na lie, you dey deceive yourself’, you get time for us’! (Laughing). I don’t mean you, those kinds of people. When you want something you’ve never had, then you have to do something you’ve never done. Giving is the true meaning of honour! You don’t honour anybody if you’re not a giver.
Another 21st October is here, don’t pretend as if you don’t know. Okay! Ephesians 6:1-3. So it will not be well with you in your business if you don’t honour your fathers. Am I a father? How many know I’m a father? My biological mother never called me by name from the day oil came upon me. Not one day! Till she passed on, she didn’t address me by my name. When she comes she says: ‘Papa’. I will give her money as a biological mother, she will kneel down as her Spiritual Father. Church Gist. She knelt down till death, I will lay hands on her and say: ‘My daughter, God bless you’! I’m her Spiritual Father, she’s my biological mother. Then when I finish that one I say: ‘Ma, I dash you, I give you this one’. Do you understand it? When she’s kneeling I say: ‘My daughter, may God bless you’ but when she gets up I say: ‘Mom, this is for you’. On the spiritual, she is my daughter, in the physical she is my mother, she was my mother! Do you understand the difference? She understood it, my mother never called me by my name till she passed on. When she is coming she says: ‘Papa, how na’? But before then she used to call me my name. But when she knew that the oil came upon me she changed her pattern.
That two of us went to school does not mean we are mates oo, we were classmates we are not mates. If you come with a mate mentality you will never get blessed. They came to Jesus and said: ‘Is that not the carpenter? Jesus said: ‘Okay! You go get carpenter anointing (Laughing). Somebody came to the office, life story! And said ‘O boy’! I didn’t pray for him till he left. He said: ‘Pray for me na, o boy’! I said since you call me ‘o boy’, you will get ‘o boy anointing’. How can you call me ‘o boy’ and I pray for you? Church Gist. For what! Since you came with ‘o boy…’ You go carry ‘o boy anointing’ go, I didn’t pray for him. I just talked with him as ‘o boy’. He said: ‘Ah! Pastor, pray for me’. I said: ‘How na’? The anointing you don’t respect you can’t draw virtue from it to enhance your value. There is a valuable parental blessing to be collected from a spiritual parent. Now hear this before I close, it comes by giving them the venison they love such as Isaac asked for in Genesis 27. There is something they love that will turn your life around. Are you getting what I’m saying? Glory to God. What you give to your parents must be honourable and substantial, according to your size. Then, my God shall now supply all your needs.
My wife, I am three things to my wife: I’m a husband to her she knows that role, I’m a father to her and I’m her Pastor. She knows where to differentiate each one, some people don’t know where to differentiate each. Are you getting me? As a husband, I will give her pocket money and feeding money, as a father she will sow to me to get blessed. Church Gist. My wife sows to me otherwise there is no way she will prosper. She doesn’t say: ‘You know say you be my husband’, nobody will remember her. She sows to me! My last birthday she gave me I think 8 figures as a father. Then I can do anything as a husband but she must sow to me as a father not like I be husband na! ‘When they give you I go collect’. I may even forget her if she doesn’t sow. Spiritual things must be understood. Are you hearing me, Sir? I noticed something, my relatives are the ones who don’t even give, many of them, they believe I’m their brother.
Listen, even if you are hearing me from anywhere in the world, don’t collect from your brother again, sow as other people are sowing. Sometimes they will even say: ‘You know say I don dey this Church for 50 years’, I say: ‘Na you come bring the Church? Because you be my brother’! Listen, there is no brotherhood in the covenant. In the covenant you must respect the oil if the oil must flow to you. (Illustration). Who did God bless? These brothers nothing happened! That’s why my brothers in Church nothing dey happen to una (Laughing). ‘I don dey this Church’! Familiarity is dangerous! So all these prayers I’m praying, it will not happen to you because na my mama born you (Laughing). I know Papa, wetin em need? Without a carnal substance, my spiritual prophetic words will not produce in your life. Please, the secret is in you tapping into the grace and you must know timing. There will not be another 21st October this year, the next one will be next year. So know how to utilize this week. Are you getting me? If I never gave that fifty naira I would have been poor till today. That was all we had but did it bring poverty or it brought prosperity? That was where I broke the backbone of poverty with what? Fifty naira. That was all we had! But it was a sacrifice to a vessel of God called David Oyedepo. It broke the backbone! Let me tell you that was the secret of my prosperity.
How many of you are blessed now? How many of you understand what I taught? Do you understand it? Do you know: ‘My God will supply all your needs’ is not only money. Church Gist. He will supply anything! Wrap anything you are sowing with an expectation. ‘Lord! As I sow into your vessel, I want this to happen’. Am I talking to you? Are you hearing me? Are you getting me?
-This week! My God supplies all your needs. Beyond this week, my God surprise you!
Listen! You don’t need to meet me oo, I didn’t meet Oyedepo oo but it answered. The covenant answered! Church Gist. You don’t need to meet me, don’t say: ‘Papa, I wan put am for your hand’, you don’t need to put it in my hand, just do it wherever you are.
-I decree, this week that I’m celebrating, nothing will stop your own celebration! All that you need in life before 21st October, my God supplies all in the name of Jesus! That miracle you are looking for, that thing you are asking God for, will be released this week in the name of Jesus.
-This is the last day you ever remain in the same spot! The yoke is broken! Now, keep rising! Keep flying! Church Gist. Keep going up! I decree your peers will serve you! Your brothers and sisters will eat on your table!
-Be lifted in the name of Jesus! No sickness will remain in your body! You will not see shame! Rise and shine!!! And all your desires granted! In Jesus’ mighty name! Are you blessed? Glory to God! Hallelujah!
