There are some statements of scriptures that look so far-fetched you wonder whether they are really real to life. Every statement of scripture applies to whosoever believes. It is never forced on any man, they apply to whosoever believes. If I let the Lord lead me, only goodness and mercy shall be following me all the days of my life. He daily loadeth us with benefits. Daily! No exemption. That is what they call supernatural. As the Lord lives, in the precious name of Jesus I welcome you to that realm where only goodness and mercy will be following you all the days of your life. If you let me lead you, if you care to follow my leadings, only goodness and mercy will be following you as long as you allow me to keep leading you all the days of your life. Not some days, not most days, all the days. Is that real to life? It is real to your church. All the days for 42 years. Not one day of coming to the platform to say ‘brethren God is in control. Things are upside down, let’s pray. Let’s bind the devil. Let’s call him to get out’. All the days! The problem is ‘Are you committed to following Him?’ Financial favour follows us all the days because we follow Him all the days. Church Gist. This ministry has never begged, has never borrowed. We will give the whole offering to someone in need on a Sunday morning, all the days. This short man has never borrowed, has never begged, has never entered anybody’s office just to find out if God laid something on your heart. I am not that easy to give an offering. All the days! I want to find what I can give you. All the days of your life! It is a cheap possibility. Every scriptural statement is a possibility, it takes your faith to step into it. All the days! Angry devils notwithstanding, all the days. Angry policies notwithstanding, all the days of your life. Can any policy stop the financial blessings here? All the days of your life. He said I am committed to leading you if you are committed to following me. Do you know why God is not leading you? You are not committed. We are busy writing notes but we are not taking notes. A lot of note writing in Church but few note taking. What have you noted that needs to be done from what you have heard? All the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of my God forever. You shall dwell in the house of your God forever.
So stop expecting ups and downs. Our destiny in redemption is packaged for ups and ups. Proverbs 4:18. Sweet! Someone had two children that were SS and from the last Liberation Service, took the mantle and tied round them, brought them back for a test and one had changed to AA, the other had changed to AS. There are people here now who don’t know where their mantle is. You know what it means for SS to turn to AA and you have two of them? What a challenge of life. Jesus lifted the burden. Somebody else came to Church and he didn’t know where the mantle is now. They say what happened? Papa prayed! You know Papa can pray. My prayer is that from today you won’t just be part of a crowd that your faith will deliver your portion in every service you attend. So after every service endeavour to write down your takeaways. What have I taken away from this service? one, two, three, four. Which of them have I not been doing? 1, 3, 5. Church Gist. Am I prepared to start doing them now? No! Not yet! The interesting thing about your God is He doesn’t force His way on anybody. I stand at the door and knock, Hello! I have this package for you. Are you interested? No! Hello, I have this package for you, are you ready? Not yet! Hello, I have this package for you. Get out of my place! He leaves you and me to make our choice. He was going one day and they said He will not pass through that place, Peter said let us call fire upon them, what nonsense. He said No! They have a right. Everybody has a right to what extent God can get into your life. Even though He is Lord of all, He won’t force His way into your life! No! He won’t.
This morning we are looking at Part 2 of our studies, UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL. Remember the theme of the month is ‘I am Redeemed a wonder to my world’. John 3:8. Every child of God is born into a supernatural world. So is everyone, not every apostle, not every prophet. Everyone! In this Church you find women raising their husbands back to life from the dead. Church Gist. The days of ‘Pray for Me Syndrome’ are over in the Body of Christ. It is a Body Movement for everyone that is born of the Spirit. Every child of God is a supernatural being. The Bible calls us peculiar people. We are a different species of men. We are in the likeness of men but our content is supernatural. We better wake up to this.
Kenneth Hagin told a story years ago of a baby lion that was captured and was growing among the sheep and eventually lost its identity as a lion and began to behave like a sheep. It was eating what the sheep were eating and drinking what they were drinking. So any time they went out and they saw a lion on the other side, they all took to their heels including the lion sheep. He had lost his identity to the environment. Many believers have lost their identity to the environment. They have lost it to the intellectual environment. They are trying to find God with their little intellect. They have lost it to the material world, they just lost it. They just lost it. Church Gist. One day this lion saw its face on the water and it said what? I look like that thing we used to run away from. So the next time a lion showed up, it refused to run. It crossed the stream and went back to its kingdom and they welcomed him back home. It is better you discover yourself right now Sir. It is better! When I say something and you are afraid, it is because of where you are. That is why. I sleep like a baby after disturbing the devil because he can’t disturb me. Way back in 1979, I saw myself far above him, not just above him. I belong to the order of people that witches beg. Witches beg us. All these ‘leave me alone you familiar spirit, you are too familiar that is why’.
When I found out what has been done for me, I knew I can never be poor and I am not poor. It was 41 years ago. If anybody says I am owing him money, let them come, I will pay him 10 times the money because I didn’t remember.
Unlocking the Supernatural Content within You. So let us examine some of them before our time is up. Church Gist. The message has gone forth this morning, it is your turn and my turn and we are in for the best of time in the name of Jesus.
The big question in commanding signs and wonders is knowing who one is in Christ and what one carries to manifest it. In the Charismatics, we emphasize so much on who we are. Now, what do we carry to manifest it? We need a revelation. Who we are will mean nothing when we don’t know what we carry to manifest it. We heard Elisha say to a troubled widow whose prophet husband was indebted to the point of debt and made his two sons collateral for the debt, Elisha said what have you in thy house? What a question. 2 Kings 4:2. The answer to our challenges usually lies within us just that we don’t know. All the answers to our challenges lie within us just that we are yet to discover it. What has thou in thy house? It has the answer to your problem. What has Christ done in you to put you over that circumstance? It is a thing to discover. One of my sons was sharing his testimony that I did a teaching some time in London, There is a Miracle in Your Lion’s Den. Church Gist. There is always something where you are to deal with what you are passing through. What hast thou in thy house? We are God’s building. What has God put in you to deal with that situation? Do you have a son that is dying of thirst like Hagar did? Look well, there is a spring just where you are. Genesis 21:19. God once asked Moses, what is that in thy hand? A rod! What about? That is the rod that will empower you to fulfil your glorious destiny. That rod that looks like an ordinary rod, that is it. He has placed something in your hand and my hand that is ordained to empower us to fulfil our glorious destiny in life. They are the things to discover, they are already there. They just need to be discovered. What is that in your hand? Exodus 4:2.
This is where our problem is: what you don’t despise you can’t never dominate. The problem you exaggerate will dominate you. What you don’t despise, you can never dominate. We are not able to take the land. Stop that! Caleb said stop that, let’s go at once. The 10 of them perished in ‘we are not able’ but Joshua and Caleb lived on. Human beings are made to exaggerate their problems by the devil, including believers, they are exaggerating. I have not slept for the past two weeks. It is a lie, somebody who has not slept won’t be talking like you. ‘My eyes have never closed for two weeks’ is a lie. You won’t be on your feet if that is the case. People exaggerate their problems. Nothing has ever worked in my life. You mean nothing and you are still talking? Your lungs are not working and you are breathing? Church Gist. You are eating and going to the toilet but nothing is working? Numbers 14:1-5. They wept and wept because of the exaggeration of their problem. The land we went to eats up people. How did you return? It didn’t eat you? Did you run from the land? No! And you brought the fruit. You can’t overcome any problem you exaggerate. You cannot. It will overcome you easily. Cheap! I was back from a mission field and my wife said she had a miscarriage. I said it cannot happen. Can I have my food, please? It cannot happen. Where are you miscarrying to? The problem you don’t despise you cannot dominate. No situation has ever come your way but such as is common. Commonise the problem. 1 Corinthians 10:13. If you are a teacher, you will not set 200 Level questions for 100 Level students. God will not let you be confronted with what is beyond you. God is not a wicked God. So anything you are confronted with is within your capacity to deal with if you will be awake to your responsibility, not asleep. Awake not just wearing a coat and tie. It is within your capacity to deal with it. You write only exams at your level and so it is with God. So when you are crying, He sees you as not taking responsibility. You find a child crying in an exam hall, he didn’t read that is why. You don’t cry, you smile. If you have read you will be smiling. If you have not read ‘I bind you Satan. Church Gist. That woman behind my father’s house, I bind you. You want me to fail again’ but if you have read you are just smiling and asking for extra sheets. There was a time that I answered a question and I felt the teacher might be very angry that I got a better way of doing it than what he taught. So I said OR and answered it in his own way. So in case you are angry. I cleared it 100 per cent. But if you are not prepared, you will be crying and looking up and down. In the precious name of Jesus, no circumstance overruns your life again.
So when you see a situation arrive, I have enough in me to deal with this. There is enough content deposited in me by redemption to deal with this. So I am dealing with this. You can’t deal with me. Don’t let any devil despise who you are and what you carry. Goliath attempted to do that with the sling and the stone of David, but he didn’t succeed. Church Gist. He wouldn’t let Goliath despise what he carried. 1 Samuel 17:43. Am I a dog that you come to me with a sling and a stone? You are worse than a dog Goliath, wait for me. Don’t let no devil despise what you carry. What you carry he cannot deal with.
So who am I?
1. By redemption, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places far above principalities and powers.
Far above witches and wizards. Far above principalities because they are just small agents of those principalities. Far above rulers of the darkness of this world. Far above wicked spirits in high places. Ephesians 2:6. Ephesians 1:20-21 defined where that place is. Be conscious of the fact that you are from above. John 8:23. If you check the book of John, Jesus said I am, I am, I am… Jesus knew who He was. That was the platform from which He operated, commanding the supernatural naturally. I am from above, you are from beneath. Church Gist. As the Father has sent me, so send I you. So you are from above. John 17:14-16. So you are in the world but you are not of the world. That should sink into you. ‘What can I do under these circumstances?’ Who put you under? How did you get under? Whatever is from above is above all (John 3:31). If you are from above then you are ordained to be above all circumstances not under any. John 15:18-19. We are in the world but we are not of the world. So be conscious of your new redemptive status, you are simply on a mission on the earth. You don’t belong here and you must think so.
2. By redemptive we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light where darkness has no more sway.
There is no grossness of darkness that can dare the territory of light. We have been translated from the kingdom of darkness away eternally from their reach. You can’t find darkness whose mission is to go and deal with light. No! You are in a kingdom where darkness can’t come. He dwells in the light that no man can approach unto. I have been translated, you have been translated but do you really know it? So you are battling with darkness, I have never seen where darkness and light are contending. No! That light shines in darkness and darkness can’t approach it. When my time comes in my old age and I go to heaven, don’t let any devil think that one devil took me out. If the devil can take me, he could have taken me a long time ago. The devil took me to where? Can you find where darkness is taking light? They say to where? I am going to kill it. It is light that kills darkness. You dare me, you die. What do you carry? What kind of darkness? What do you carry compared with what I carry? Come on now. You better wake up. I gathered some people in those days when I was very tall. I said, “I have heard of all the nonsense you are doing, if I hear ‘kpekem’ from now you will see trouble.” I was 25. It is a nonsense darkness. Do you know what happened? You are not only translated to the kingdom of light, you are now light! Ephesians 5:8. Walk as children of light in majesty in the midst of darkness. John 1:9.
– In the precious name of Jesus, the assault of darkness over your life is declared over.
– No more assault in your sleep
– No more assault on your family. No more assault on your children. No more assault on your business.
All of the above is what makes a believer not just an overcomer but more than a conqueror.
Now, what do I carry? Say with me ‘I carry Jesus on my inside’. Most of the time we are praying to God in the sky. Now, this is what happened at Salvation. Revelation 3:20. If you open, I will come in and settle with you. I will be living together with you. So Christ is in you, that is what sets the hope of glory in motion in your life. Christ is in you not just with you. Something with you, you can leave it behind when you are going somewhere but something in you goes with you wherever you go. Christ is in me. I carry Jesus in my system. So where I appear, Jesus appears. Church Gist. What keeps Him there is your love for Him ever burning. God is a spirit, he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him. When His love is perfected in us, as He is in heaven, so are we now. So we carry Christ in us and we retain Him there with our ever burning love for Him. When we begin to grow in love to the length, the breadth, the depth and the height of it, we are filled with all His fullness. Ephesians 3:17-19. So whatever bows to Christ must bow to you. This implies that the Greater One dwells in me and that empowers me to be more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. The consciousness of Jesus in you inputs confidence that gives you command when the battle rages. Somebody’s story is changing.
Thirdly, the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in you. Romans 8:11. What does it do? It secures for me and you a yielded body as we found in those three Hebrew boys, making you and me indestructible. Daniel 3:28. He has yielded their body. Indestructible body, fire could not fry it. Yielded body! You carry a yielded body in redemption because the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in you. Church Gist. Somebody is getting healed right now because you carry a yielded body that cannot be consumed by a fiery furnace. By the quickening power of the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, I now possess a yielded body. Watch, we are going to torment the devil. 1 Corinthians 15:26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death and it is by light. That is indestructible not even by a fiery furnace.
You know I have been challenged several times. Champions are made of challenges. You can’t say you are heavyweight and someone says come I want to collect it from you, you can’t say I am not coming. It is not unspiritual to be challenged but it is anti-covenant to be defeated. Church Gist. You tell your body, you are now a yielded body. You are now above what can’t be tormented by the devil. You are indestructible. Somebody is free. It is the dawning of a new day for you.
The Greater One than Elijah dwells in me right now, his name is Jesus. If only I have a revelation of who I am as Elijah did. Matthew 11:11. Elijah said ‘If I be a man of God let fire come down’. He knew who he was Sir and fire came down and consumed the army of 50 and their captain. They were burnt to ashes. The next one was sent by the king and the same thing happened. When they sent the third one, he bowed down and said ‘Let my soul be precious in thy sight. I was sent. I will never come here to come and arrest you’. God saved your head today. If you have the revelation that Elijah had about who you are in Christ you won’t be messed up. That is a bit of what you and I carry. Church Gist. That is the agunmu inside you. Ajesara! Magan! Magan means don’t come against. Don’t try it. You come against this, you are broken to pieces, It comes against you, you are grounded to powder. You are the one He is talking about because you have been redeemed as lively stones. Right now, any agent of the devil after your life, after your health, after your family, goes down right now. Anyone sitting on the destiny of your children clears the way right now. Anyone organizing and planning your death dies in your place. Anyone holding down your business and career goes down for you.
How do I unlock what I carry? It is inside you but how do you unlock it? Now, recognize that faith puts believers in command of the supernatural. Faith is the trigger that unlocks these divine treasures that we carry. As you inject your faith, it unleashes this treasure at any time. Why are you so fearful oh ye of little faith? You can calm the storm but your faith is dangling. Matthew 8:26-27. Mark 9:23. The hand of God that works the supernatural can only be brought to bear by faith. Acts 19:11. Mark 16:20. Now, look at this miracle man by name Moses in Deuteronomy 34:10-11. His outstretched arm was behind all the happenings in Egypt. All the happening in the wilderness, the outstretched arm of the Lord. Psalm 53:1. It takes faith to provoke the arm of God that works wonders. Church Gist. You are loaded with it but you can’t release it without faith at work. When I saw I was far above, I believed it hook, line and sinker. I got to that meeting and after making the altar call I said, Hey, how many of you are witches here? I believed I was above them, if I didn’t believe I wouldn’t do that in a dungeon. You have to believe. Luke 1:45. If you don’t believe it, what you write is nonsense, it won’t work. You have to come to a point where you believe it. Where you totally believe it and it begins to manifest.
So our level of command of the supernatural is a function of the level of faith at work in us. Acts 24:14. Paul could come and say “I can do all things”. You believe all things, you do all things. Therefore whenever confronted, demand that the Jesus in you shows up. Jesus show yourself! Elisha said where is the Lord God of Elijah and He showed up. So when you say Jesus! You are saying show up. John 14:10. He is in, I can get Him to do the work. Jesus, show up for me! Church Gist. There is a situation right there where you are, I like you to say within you “Jesus show up for me”. You can’t go for a job interview and you are turned back, Jesus, show up for me. You can’t be looking for a job forever, Jesus, show up for me. You can’t be struggling with crisis and turmoil in your home, Jesus, show up for me. He is showing up for you right now. Spiritual laxity, show up for me. Can’t read the Bible, can’t pray, can’t do anything in line with the scriptures. Jesus, show up for me. Believe Him to show up for you. Jesus, show up for me.
Now, watch out! He will be showing up for you everywhere this week.
Finally, you have the gift of the name of Jesus to command signs and wonders at will. Peter said ‘Such as I have’. What do you have Peter? The name of Jesus. Acts 3:6. You have the gift of the name of Jesus to command signs and wonders at will and His gifts and callings are without repentance. Romans 11:29. When He gifted Elisha even after his death, his dry bones still raised the dead. They still carried the gift. He gave you His name. He gave me His name. John 14:12-14. If you ask anything in His name, He will do it and that is a verdict of heaven. So with faith in the name, what does the name carry? Philippians 2:10. Everything bows to the name of Jesus. Church Gist. So wherever the battle is raging from, it bows to His name. You have that, I have that as the gift of heaven for us to command the supernatural at will. You will never be stranded again. You wake up in the morning, ‘I go forth in the name of Jesus to return with signs and wonders today. I am returning with my miracle job today. My business is changing level today. My spiritual life takes a new turn today’. Faith in the name erupts wonders.
Finally, no one can command the supernatural without engaging the power of the tongue. It is the ultimate trigger for commanding signs and wonders. Luke 21:15. Acts 14:3. It is in the power of the tongue. Church Gist. What you say is what defines what you see but not just what you say but how you say it. You say it boldly, he confirms it openly. Acts 14:3.
All this already concludes a life of open doors. We live in a world of darkness. Light is the master key to a world of darkness any day, any time. Light cannot be looking for how to get a door open that is locked by darkness. Light comes, darkness flees. You know what? By what you have heard today, no door of favour shall be shut against you. Whenever revelation breaks forth, every iron gate shut by the enemy opens up on their own accord. Church Gist. When God went into the prison and brought Peter out, the iron gates opened up on their own accord. When light breaks in, darkness clears off. Every iron gate barricading your destiny clears off today. To continue to enjoy open doors in the journey of life, remain in love with God. Romans 8:28. Don’t come and use God my friend, get in love with God. That is why people have doors opened today and shut tomorrow. No wicked person has ever shut a door opened to this Church. God is God. The days of doors opened today and closed tomorrow are over in your life.
Again, be committed to following God’s leading. Don’t lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 16:25. Don’t just jump. People are going to Malaysia, I am going to Malaysia. People are going to Ghana, I am going to Ghana. They thirsted not when He led them. If you let God lead you, you won’t struggle for survival. Isaiah 48:21. Church Gist. God led your Church into this desert. Nothing was working in this place. Jesus sent us here. Let God lead you, you have been struggling on your own. Let God lead you. You don’t have a spare life, this is the only one you have.
Everything about the kingdom requires faith to deliver. Through the bread we secure the opening of our eyes. He gave them the bread and their eyes were opened. For our eyes to be opened to what we carry. For our eyes to be opened to how to unlock them when challenged. Church Gist. Then we have the blood of Jesus which provides for us a new and living way. New open doors by the blood. So you have these two things working for you at the same time.
– It is a new day.
– This shall be to you the week of weeks. Things will be working at a frequency far beyond your imagination.
– I decree the opening of a new and living way to everyone by the blood of the everlasting covenant.
– I command every closed door to be reopened. Every open door to open wider.
Lift up those two hands everyone.
– As you step out of this service, whatever door cannot be shut against Christ, opens up to you.
Psalm 24:7.
– Whatever door cannot be shut to the Lord of Hosts, His name is Jesus, opens up to you as you step out of this service.
– This week is declared your week of open doors.
– Welcome to your week of open doors. No weeping, no sorrowing, no mourning in your household beginning from this day onward.
– The God of open doors that have kept opening doors to this commission in the past 42 years opens every door for you in the name of Jesus.
– Your testimony of open doors begins today. Open doors to your marital destiny, open doors to your spiritual life, open doors to your business and career in the name of Jesus.
I pray this prayer for you which I prayed for one of my sons, receive grace to accept responsibility to operate in the realm of the supernatural.
