Jesus we are all gathered at your feet waiting to receive from you. Let every barrier on the path of our access be cleared. Church Gist. Grant each of us access to our own package tonight and let your name be glorified.
I was reflecting yesterday on why there are a number of things God told me years ago, some were not documented when He said it yet they stuck. He said because your heart is open. The Lord opened the heart of Lydia (Acts 16:14). Church Gist. Our head could be open but it doesn’t work there, it works in the heart. Lord the same way you opened the heart of Lydia, keep my heart open anytime I am in your presence so that what you say will stick and remain an asset. Pray that prayer.
It is also a known fact that we know here that what we know does not change our story, it is what we do with it. It is not revelation that results in transformation, it is application. It is applied revelation that equals transformation. Church Gist. Grace to putting your Word to work as a lifestyle, so I won’t just be loaded with revelation without anything to show for it, deceiving myself.
We are in revival. These are the things that will establish our place in it. Please pay attention. Your choice is not enough, working your choice is what gives it value. Church Gist. Yes, I will serve you and my house. That’s okay. Now get busy serving Him. In the name of Jesus, your fortune package for the year another man will not take.
UNVEILING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP 4
Breakthrough is one of the virtues that accompanies kingdom stewardship. When stewardship is acceptable, breakthrough shows up. Job 1:3. Who was Job? The greatest of all men in the East. Psalm 105:42. Abraham became a generational symbol of blessing. Jesus died to bring us under the blessings of Abraham. Galatians 3:14. Genesis 24:1. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ is still speaking today though he is dead. Peter, a servant of Jesus Christ, is still speaking today. Church Gist. Acceptable stewardship usually provokes breakthroughs to such stewards. Humbling breakthroughs will locate you this year, the kind that you have never read or heard. Many among us shall be turned into testimonials. Your life will explain the end time agenda of the end-time Church.
Like we know, the end time Church is ordained to be a breakthrough Church. Micah 4:1-2. Psalm 87:1-7. That is God’s agenda for the end time Church and we are in the end time. Church Gist. All the signs of the end time as contained in scriptures are manifesting on a daily basis and in increasing dimensions. Jesus is coming not for a defeated Church but for a reigning Church.
Unveiling the breakthrough power of Kingdom Stewardship is intended to launch us into that realm as a people and as individuals. You will not miss your place!
Let’s look at this subject tonight: The Place of Ingathering of People into Church. As we know here in this place from Scriptures, bringing people to Church is recognized as Kingdom stewardship. Luke 14:17-21…He sent his servants. So going to bring people to Church is recognized as stewardship. Luke 14:23, Revelation 22:17-18. Church Gist. So Operation Come and See Stewardship Platform, they may not listen to you on the field, bring them to Church. Church Gist. Invite them with passion. ‘Come, God is changing people’s story here.’ Is that correct? ‘God is turning things around in this place.’ Is that right? God is healing the sick in this House. Amen! Come, come and see!
Everyone that ever listens to you is a candidate to be invited. Anyone that ever asks you for counsel in this world is a candidate. Anyone that trusts you in his life is a candidate. Church Gist. Church Gist. With wisdom from above, every such individual will come as we invite them. You take them up in prayers, they will respond with delight.
What is in it for me?
You bring them to the house of blessings, they partake of blessings that change their stories and whatever good thing any man does, the same he will receive from the Lord. Church Gist. Whatever you make happen for them, God makes happen for you. Anything you make happen for anybody else, God said, He will make it happen for you. So, it’s not out of looking for what to do, it’s a business.
For the time we have, let me treat you to this. The Church is recognized as a storehouse. Every store, every shopping mall has its unique stock. Church Gist. They have their unique goods. They have what you expect to get when you get there. Amen! In the same vein, every Church has its allocated blessing from God. They constitute what is called the goodness of the house. Psalm 65:4. So every House of God has some reserved goodness in it.
Can I tell you this? In our old Church, we had a moslem man who had a tenant that had a problem. His business came down, nothing was working, he couldn’t pay his house rent. The moslem said “I always see people coming out of this Church smiling. Go there, maybe God will solve your problem.” He was a witness. He was evangelizing him. The troubled man came to Church, his story changed within 3 months. Then the next neighbor, who is also a tenant of his, had a problem…he said “I sent your friend to Church the other time, so his story changed. Go there too, your story will change.” Every house has its unique goods. When you pick a testimony from the Church, it is a pointer to the goods that God distributes there. It’s a pointer. This is a breakthrough house sir. The healing river is flowing here. God changes people’s stories here. So plug in! Tell them to come and taste.
This is where the problem is. Except you are grafted into what God is doing there, it doesn’t flow. It won’t flow. But when you are grafted, you become a partaker of the root and the fatness of the olive. Luke 11:17-23. There must be a grafting. People are passing by, they are not grafted. There must be a grafting. It is the engraftment that secures the flow of what goes there. There is something in this House sir. The testimonies are all over the World. There is something in this House. Somebody is hearing us perhaps in China and he’s picking something that somebody may be sitting in front cannot pick. Get grafted, attendance is not enough. Get grafted! They were baptized into Moses both in the sea and in the cloud. They became partakers of the things that Moses carried for them. Get grafted, it’s for your benefit.
Except a pipe is connected to the mains, water won’t flow. Get grafted! Don’t be an onlooker, be a partaker of the grace of God that is here. The Lord spoke to me so strongly on this, last weekend. Tell them “there’s goodness in this House” and what kind of goodness is here? “Let them watch out for any testimony that they have seen here. That is what I distribute here.” Any testimony you see here is a pointer to what is available in this store. You don’t look for a pair of shoes where they sell vegetables. In this store, in this shopping mall, broken homes are put together. In this shopping mall, barren people have children. In this shopping mall, death is humiliated. Get grafted! It’s not being present that matters, it’s being grafted that gets the job done. It’s being grafted.
God understands when you are grafted and when you are not grafted. The Lord said to me one time when Hagin was going to Heaven, He said “someone as close to you as your cloth is coming over.” He was in the USA, I was in Nigeria. “Somebody as close to you as your cloth is coming over.” I said ‘oh, my biological father.’ He said “no, no, Hagin.” And I told my wife on the spot. I said “the Eagle is about to soar, let’s rush and see him before he goes.” He wasn’t sick, no pain, no back ache, no nothing. Get grafted sir, it’s for your good. Get grafted, it’s for your life. Get grafted. God knows whether you are or you are not. He knows. Don’t just admire what God is doing here, get grafted. Don’t be entertained by testimonies, get grafted. Let those testimonies provoke you that this thing is here in my heavenly Father’s house and He’s out here to distribute it to me. What am I waiting for? Get grafted!
Psalm 132:13-15. This is what happens in Church. Maybe I can quickly reflect here that Zion is the Church of Christ in prophecy. Hebrews 12:20-24. The Church of the First Born is called Zion. Christ came and said wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Psalm 132:12-16. Church Gist. That is what He does in Church. So Church is not ‘long time we no see’. No! Church is coming home to the family where the Father Himself sits. ‘My son what is it that you are looking for?’ Even what you don’t know you are looking for He distributes it. He will satisfy our poor with bread. He will clothe our priests with salvation, all our saints will be shouting with joy, no depression. Triumph, victory, conquest all the way.
You remember one family came in here ridden with tuberculosis. Husband, wife and two children were coughing out blood. Everybody deserted them but they came to Church. They came in here and nobody prayed over them. They said, while they sat down, the husband looked at the wife after about thirty minutes, “This cough fears God.” That was the end of the plague. Church Gist. They walked away free without anybody touching them. Zion is God’s end time City of Refuge, that is why the menslayers cannot catch up with you. Take cover in Zion. Let fellowship become a delight to you. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appears before God.
You are not helping nobody coming to Church, you are advancing your course in life. “When I entered the Sanctuary of the Lord, then understood I.” It is the center of illumination where our spiritual understanding is boosted. Psalm 73:17. Our spiritual understanding is boosted in Church. A word comes and boom! Whether in songs like we had tonight, in praise and worship, in prayers. Something comes that just enlarges your understanding. That happens in Church because you have come to Jesus, the Light of the World. The Mediator of the New Testament. “As long as I am in the World, I am the Light of the World.” So He lightens the people when they come to Church. It is amazing. So our getting them to come to Church is not to add to the number, it is to secure their destiny. It is not to add to the number, it is to secure their destiny and to secure your destiny and my destiny.
So Church is not a club, it’s the house of the Living God – the Household of God. Like we know, “in the multitude of people is the King’s honour and he that honours me, I will honour.” Proverbs 14:28; 1 Samuel 2:30. There are many people in this Church around the world this Year that will never see shame again all through their life by being committed to what brings honour, that eradicates shame and reproach. Church Gist. 1 Samuel 2:30; Proverbs 14:28. So when we commit to it, you secure honour from God and when God honours you, no devil can dishonour you. There are people in this place today that all the days of your life, nobody will look at you in the face and insult you because you’re wearing divine honour. Everybody bows to divine honour.
In our old Church somebody, we closed in service and they were on their way home and armed robbers got on the way and this man drove there and armed robbers saluted them, “your Royal Highness, please go ahead.” He’s not a chief but he’s a kingdom royal highness. Come on say – honour!
You keep enjoying strange order of honour as you commit to what makes God honour people – bring people to him – you’re honouring him. When you honour him, he honours you back in return. So when you’re praying for someone to respond, you’re doing your job. Church Gist. You’re creating a future, you’re clearing off shame and reproach off your path. So Church is no playground Sir! It’s God’s centre of blessing. That’s God’s distribution center for anything you and I may ever need. “All her saints shall shout for joy – all her saints that connect, that are grafted, that are not passers-by, shall shout for joy. It’s your year of shouting for joy!
You can’t love God and not love his house. Psalm 122:1; Psalm 84:1. Every true lover of God loves to be in His presence – it’s just natural. When you close from work no matter how far you live away from home, you’re singing. The road is like this (rough) but it doesn’t bother you. You’re going home, that’s your place of rest. Church Gist. They say, “why do you come everyday?” You say, no no I need to be back home. East or West, home is the best. You don’t see the rough road, you don’t see anything, you’re just going home. You can’t love God and not love his house. You can’t love his house and not grow in revelation because it’s the house of illumination.
Psalm 84:7. Backsliding begins when you start stepping aside from Church, when you start backing out from Church you’re going from weakness to weakness. Going, going, going, gone! We had someone in our fellowship in the beginning days of this ministry and we didn’t see him for sometime so when he showed up I said, “hey, Emmanuel you’re gone!” He said, “no no, it doesn’t mean that he is gone, he said he was busy doing…” I said Emmanuel you’re gone! He said, “Brother David don’t talk like that.” “Emmanuel that I am looking at, you’re gone.” Church Gist. When I didn’t let him go he said, “it’s true Sir. I have even started alcohol.” How many weeks was he out? Going going going gone! You can’t secure yourself so come under his covering. Zion is God’s city of refuge. All the forces of Heaven dwell in Zion. Among other things there’s sprinkling of blood in the realm of the Spirit that goes on in Zion for a covering over your life and my life. Hebrews 12:24. So there’s always some sprinkling going on in the realm of the spirit for a covering over your life, your family and yourself.
Don’t toy with Church; it’s not a club. It’s the household of God on the Earth. The Lion of the tribe of Judah guards it. Revelation 5:5. There is no wild beast who will dare a lion and not pay with his life. Church Gist. It’s the house of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. You have come on to Jesus the mediator of the New Covenant. Unfathomable blessings in the House of God! You never miss that any more in your life!
Altar Call:
Job 36:11. If God is talking to you then raise up! Ephesians 5:14.
– May no one among us end this month without a soul named with his name!
– May every number you desire be delivered in grand style!
– May everyone’s prayer altar change level of fervency!
– May everyone’s outreach change level of passion!
Luke 2:49. Jesus went to the Synagogue as his custom was. He’s our perfect example he should become our way of life – being in Church, bringing people to Church should become our way of life. Church Gist. It’s always value adding. You never return empty with an open heart, with genuine connectedness. God never lies.
One day I had some kind of weakness in my system to the point that to wave a taxi was a problem but from Hebrews 12, I gathered strength that: you can’t come to Mount Zion with all those Heavenly forces in there and still be held bound. I was asked to lead prayer. In our time when you’re to lead prayer, you lead prayer all the night. Everything disappeared – gbom! Church Gist. Any time you’re coming just come with an understanding and a mentality – I’m coming to be serviced. Things that are not performing in my system must give way. Things that upset him must clear the way. Things that are disturbing me must give way. You come with an understanding that you’re coming to Zion the place where your provisions are waiting for every area of your need and my need. They come not by physical things dropping but by light – “this is what to do to get over that situation.” Serving God is what to do not to be affected negatively in these hard times. Church Gist. Giving God the first place in your life is what to do for this famine not to torment you. 1 Kings 17:13-15. Don’t toy with the place of God at this time, give him his rightful place – genuinely from your heart, connectedly and you’ll see wonders!
