I want to appreciate God and appreciate God’s Servant, my father for this opportunity to stand here on this exalted altar. Church Gist. What we are going to be sharing is based on the things that we have learned, we have observed and we have seen at work. And my assurance is that it will work for you in the name of Jesus! You believe it, say a loud Amen!
‘Redeemed To Flourish In Hard Times’ is the theme of Shiloh and this morning by privilege, I will be touching on the subject: UNVEILING THE MYSTERY OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES. It is important to begin by recognizing that no one can operate in the supernatural with a natural mentality because as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7. Church Gist. But according to Scripture, the supernatural is expected to be the natural estate of the Redeemed. John 3:8. That is God’s ordination for everyone that is born again, so we are born to live supernatural lives. No wonder we were told in 2 Corinthians 5:17, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away behold all things have become new.
So, the supernatural is expected to be the natural way of living, the natural lifestyle of every believer. But no one can operate in that heritage without possessing a supernatural mentality. The great challenge, therefore, is: How do we migrate from the natural to the supernatural realm? That’s the great question, that’s the great challenge. How do we migrate? And what makes it a challenge is that, think of it this way. Church Gist. We are born through a natural process, we went through natural upbringing, we went through a natural school system, we took natural professions or careers, we developed natural skills and talents but we are ordained to live a supernatural life. That means that we have been so trained in the natural that we must be trained for the supernatural. It takes a supernatural mindset to experience a supernatural lifestyle. That is the tasking migration! And that is why we must position ourselves, particularly at a mountain like this at Shiloh to see to our transition from the natural thinking to the supernatural thinking; because as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.
-For somebody hearing my voice, from this day onward, I see a supernatural mindset being quickened afresh in your life and my life. If you believe it, say a loud Amen!
And why this is so important is because God has packaged supernatural means to address the supplies of the Saints in these last days. We have been told that as far as the Prophetic Calendar is concerned, the Last days are ordained by God to be hard times for the World. How hard? Malachi 4:1, the Bible tells us there, ‘Behold, the day cometh’. It was spoken of in prophecy but today it’s a reality. Malachi 4:1-2. We are in the days where the shakings of the Earth will affect every corner of the Earth, no place to physically run to. Church Gist. Today, you find people running from one place to the other seeking what they call greener pastures but hear this and hear it very well. We are living in the days where without a personal encounter, no pasture will be green; there will be nowhere to run to. We are coming to the days where donor nations are becoming debtor nations. We are coming to the days where the places that used to be called ‘developed’ are entering into very colossal struggles. These are the realities of the Last days – The whole earth will burn as an oven. It is the Prophetic Calendar of God, it cannot be pushed aside by prayer. That means that in these last days, for the World it will be generally hard but for those who covenantly align themselves it will be personally sweet. That is God’s agenda! But for that to be our own experience, we require a supernatural mentality.
-My prayer today is that by the encounter you and I are having upon this Mountain, there will be a renovation of our mindset.
Romans 12:2. It takes a new mind to enjoy a new life.
-Again, I pray for each one of us this morning! Church Gist. By the Word of the Lord that we are hearing, there will be a renovation of our mindset in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
So, we must recognize that the hardship is real, the hard times are here but supernatural supplies are real.
Now, let’s look at some pictures from Scriptures of supernatural supplies shown to us from the pages of the Word of God so that we can position ourselves accordingly to be partakers of what God has in stock for us.
1. We discovered that when the Children of Israel were coming out of Egypt and got into the Wilderness. The Bible makes us to understand how that God took charge of them. Exodus 16:8-35. Two square meals every day. How long did that miracle take place? Exodus 16:35. God knows how to supply His people even in the Wilderness.
-I have good news for somebody hearing my voice this morning, no matter how hot the Wilderness Season may be. No matter how dry the Desert may seem. Church Gist. For somebody hearing my voice, the God that rained Manna will supply all your needs. If you believe it, say the loudest Amen.
Three million people given food, morning and evening, three million people! Only God can supply our needs in every department of our lives, only God can. He was giving them bread in the morning, flesh in the evening. Church Gist. One week, two weeks, four weeks, three months, six months, one year, ten years, twenty years, thirty years, forty years – There was nowhere to go and harvest any kind of wheat with which bread will be made but God rained down bread from Heaven.
-The kind of supplies that only Heaven can bring will be coming somebody’s way in the name of Jesus.
2. We saw supernatural supplies for Elijah.
1 Kings 17:1-7. The Lord gave Elijah specific instructions. Church Gist. 1 Kings 17:3-4. He was supplied by God. 1 Kings 19:6-8. He was supplied by Heaven.
-For somebody hearing me, the kind of supply that cannot be explained, that cannot be described, that will be somebody’s experience here.
3. The third example we have is the Widow who was in despair in 2 Kings 4:1-7. This Woman was a widow, husband was a prophet, husband had died and they were so indebted that the two sons that she had were the collateral for the debt, things were so hard, so difficult. Things looked like she had entered into a corner but then, the Prophet asked a simple question: ‘What do you have in your house’? Church Gist. She said: ‘Just a little cruse of oil’. He said: ‘Go and get vessels’ and keep pouring the Oil into the vessel and the Oil will not stop. 2 Kings 4:3-4. So, she kept pouring until all the vessels were filled. He said: ‘Now, go and sell that Oil and pay your debt and live off the rest’ – Supernatural supply. 2 Kings 4:1-7. It terminated her hardship. Look at the testimony we just heard of that brother, he came here, things were already at a head and he just determined in his heart about his Shiloh sacrifice and he said: ‘As I came out of the Service and turned on my phone, millions began rushing in his direction! The supply of Heaven coming in his direction.
-That will be somebody’s testimony here in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Number 4 example we have is the feeding of the Five Thousand. Jesus was teaching and these people were with Jesus, five thousand men minus women and children. And the Bible said that these people had been with Jesus for over 3 days and Jesus said: ‘Now, give them food’. And His disciples ask: ‘Where will we get food to give these people’? And Jesus said: ‘What do you have’? And they brought five loaves of bread and two fishes. We may not be able to appreciate the Bread that the Bible is talking about there but the bread we are talking about is flat. Church Gist. John 6:9. It is bread that looks like pancake, think about it, five pieces of pancakes and five thousand hungry men minus the women and the children. And Jesus said: ‘Bring it to Me’. And they brought the five loaves to him and He lifted it up and gave thanks and He said: ‘Give it to the multitudes’. And as they would take one bread to give, they discovered another bread has appeared under, they take another one, they take another one. John 6:11. As they kept giving, it kept multiplying! Supernatural supplies! It came on the behalf of Jesus! And it’s our own example, that means that there are supernatural supplies available for you and for me.
-And none of us will miss our portion in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. How about the coin from the mouth of the Fish? Matthew 17:26. Jesus was to pay taxes, Himself and Peter and He said: ‘Now, go, cast a hook and bring out a fish. And the Bible tells us that after he did that, He said: ‘Take the coin that is out of that Fish and pay the tax for you and for Me’ – Supplies from any source. Please hear this: God knows how to get you what you require, leave the method to God. You simply follow His demands, leave the method to God, your task is simply to follow His demands. Church Gist. So from Scripture, we see that supernatural supply is real. Now, hear this and hear very well, if you don’t know a contemporary example, look at this Commission. This Commission is one of the greatest descriptions that supernatural supply is real. The Ark Legacy Project that is ongoing – Mighty Project! When the Project was ready to be flagged off, God’s Servant shared a testimony, He said: ‘The Lord said: ‘Speak not to Me again on this matter till I speak to you’. In the natural, it looked more advantageous to do it at that time.
Many of us who are in Nigeria know what has happened to the exchange rate, true or false? Dollar! Foreigners may not know but those who are here, you know? Dollar to naira? Imagine where it was (in) 2015 and where it is (in) 2023. It has gone far but that Project is going without any feeling – Without any feeling! Some will say: ‘Oh! How is it happening’? Church Gist. Supernatural supplies! Even those of us who are here, it is a miracle in our eyes, it is like watching a dream, seeing things happening and knowing God is the One at work. There comes a point where the things occurring in your life are also a surprise to you. When you are looking at your life like a spectator, watching the occurrences happening.
-For somebody hearing me, by the encounter you are having at Shiloh, that will become your experience! If you believe it, say the loudest Amen.
So, there is a reality packaged for you and I as far as supernatural supply is concerned. The question is: ‘How do we gain access to it’? That’s the most important question we are going to address in this teaching this morning. Church Gist. How do we gain access to supernatural supplies? And we are going to look very quickly at 5 keys and I trust that the Spirit of God will give us light and understanding as we do in the name of Jesus Christ.
1. Through service.
And we were taught that powerfully in the First Teaching. One of the vital channels through which we gain access to supernatural supply is Kingdom service. Serving God is our access passcode to receiving blessings from God. Exodus 23:25. And the blessing triggers not just natural supplies but supernatural supplies. We have the example of Peter in Luke 5:1-8. The Bible tells us there that Jesus was preaching and the people pressed upon Him to hear the Word of the Lord and Jesus asked that Peter would give Him his boat and move the boat a bit from the Water. Luke 5:2. Church Gist. And Peter gave Jesus his boat and the Boat was moved that Jesus taught the people from the Boat. After the teaching was completed, after Peter’s service was already offered and accepted. Jesus looked at Peter and said: ‘Now, Launch out into the deep for a draught’. Luke 5:4-5. And Peter said: ‘Master, we have toiled all night, we have caught nothing. Our natural labour could not produce anything’. We are living in a day and age where natural labour will not produce anything. Luke 5:5. And suddenly as they go, the Bible said they cast their net and they caught a net breaking, boat sinking order of breakthrough – Supernatural supply! On the basis of service! Kingdom service is what provokes our access to supernatural supplies. Psalms 34:10. When serving God becomes your lifestyle, the supplies of Heaven become your portion. In the first teaching, we were given the example of Job. Job 1:8-9. So, serving God always procures blessings. What level of blessings did it bring on Job? Job 1:1-3. Unusual supplies on the basis of serving God.
-For somebody hearing my voice today, as you commit yourself to serving God, I see supernatural supplies becoming your portion in the name of Jesus! Church Gist. You believe it, say a loud Amen!
2. Through obedience.
One of the vital keys to gaining access to supernatural supplies is obedience. Mary, the Mother of Jesus said in John 2:5, ‘Whatsoever He tells you to do, do it’. One of the vital channels through which you and I will gain access to the supply of Heaven is through obedience. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Church Gist. According to Scriptures therefore, overflowing blessing is the product of committed obedience. No one gains access to an overrunning blessing without commitment to obedience. Please hear this, when it comes to heaven resources, it does not answer to prayer. God’s Servant, our father has told us that, over and over again. It is not a prayer point, it is an obedience point, it is not a prayer point. So, sitting out, praying: ‘Lord! Release, Your blessing on me. Lord! Give me resources’! It is a wasted prayer.
Obedience is the trigger that provokes the release of Heaven’s supplies. Obedience! Even when what is telling you does not look like what is required, obey! I remember the testimony of a particular brother, when I was privileged to be in our Church in the UK (United Kingdom). Church Gist. And it was the month of praise and this brother had lost his job, there was no money anywhere. He had nothing at that point to even give his children as food to eat, so he gathered the children together, himself and his wife. And he said: ‘The instruction for us is that we should praise’, so they began to dance!! They began to celebrate God. They praised and praised and praised and went to sleep.
Next morning, somebody came, brought all manner of food items, ‘Oh! The Lord just laid on my heart to bring all of these’. Had no idea of what was going on, dropped it with them, they saw it, they began to dance again, began to praise. The next day, another person! All manner of food items, dropped it with them, they began to dance again, began to dance. Every day, they kept having supply upon supply, until the supply was too much to keep. Church Gist. They started looking for who had requirements, who needed something. Scattering this way! By the time they give, another one arrives, as they give, it continues like that until he got a job. Remember the Bible said that God caused Manna to rain until they entered the border of Canaan. The supply continued and continued and continued as he was obeying and obeying and obeying. There is power in obedience. There is power! That’s why those who ignore instructions, Scriptural instructions, prophetic instructions end up being victims in hard times.
-No one here will be a victim in hard times! If you believe it, say a loud Amen!
Deuteronomy 11:18-21. So, there is a way to live a Heavenly life on the Earth and the pathway to it is the pathway to obedience.
Say: Lord! Give me grace to obey!
Because the instructions of God will come to us in various modes, some of us as we are praying during the Shiloh Prayer Hour, He drops an instruction. Church Gist. Some of us as we are hearing the Word of the Lord, He drops an instruction, it comes in various modes, in various patterns. But as we engage with those instructions, they position us to enter into Heaven’s dimensions of supply.
-My prayer is that none of us will ignore any one of those divine instructions in the name of Jesus Christ. Church Gist. You believe it say a loud Amen!
I can’t forget a number of years ago, God’s Servant was with us when I was in our last station in… It was in 2010, I can’t forget that. As we were dedicating the Church Facility, he gave a word of prophecy. He said: ‘There are many of you that will build places like this and hand it over to Church as a seed’. That word came heavy into my spirit, I shouted, Amen! And I remember that having come down here to Canaanland on my assignment, I arrived here one day and I was looking through documents in the office and a particular Zone had written, they had built their own Zone but needed intervention to finish it. And as I saw it, inside me I had the witness, ‘This is your opportunity’. You can’t start one and finish one yet but you can finish one that has been started. Church Gist. So I said: ‘Thank You Lord’! I took that paper aside and I had some money that I wanted to use to finish that Zone so I asked them to go and do an estimate of what it would take expecting that it was going to fall inside what I had. When it came, it was far beyond what I had. So the equation turned, but inside me I knew there was that witness that: ‘This is your project’! So I said: ‘Lord! What do I do’? And the next thing, a witness came inside me: ‘Your car’! I said: ‘What’? ‘Your car’! So I took the car, sold the car and used the funds from the car to complete that Zone. From there, everything changed! That was what God used to catapult the next chapter! Just one simple instruction! Somebody says: ‘But me, I must hear it as a clear voice oo before I will do it’! It just came as a witness: ‘That is your project, take it’! And that was what God used to open the next chapter. By the grace and mercy of God, we have seen one or two, complete from start to finish.
Now, listen very carefully, obedience is a key that none of us must neglect. But obedience may not be convenient. Many times when God gives an instruction, it is contrary to comfort. It may not look comfortable but it is the key to your ultimate comforting. You see? It is important to understand that whatever will comfort your future may discomfort your present. Church Gist. That is why obedience must remain the watchword of anyone that intends to flourish in hard times. This is so important! We were told in the last teaching that this is the best time to sow. This is the best time! When things look hard, it is the best time to sow your seed. The Bible tells us, He said: Isaac sowed in that Land, in the same year, where things looked hard and difficult, it became the Land of opportunities for him. Genesis 26:12.
-For somebody hearing my voice, via the grace of obedience coming afresh upon your life. Church Gist. I see each one of us, entering into realms of unusual supplies in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Through engagement on the Harvest Field.
I’ve come to discover that everyone who is committed to serving God in the pursuit of the lost is a candidate for the supply of Heaven. Luke 22:35. Just get sold out, pursuing after the lost, seeing souls saved, seeing them established in the Faith, established in the Church, you will see the supply of Heaven rushing in your direction. Luke 22:35. John 4:36. Church Gist. So get sold out, running after the lost. Get sold out! We are told in Scriptures that we are to follow the faith of those who are ahead of us. Their faith, follow! We see God’s Servant, our father here, running after souls continuously, tirelessly. That’s one of the keys to ceaseless supply. As you keep giving God what He requires, He keeps giving you what you desire.
-For, somebody hearing my voice today, I see a fresh grace coming upon each one of us to be tireless on the Harvest Field in the name of Jesus Christ. Church Gist. If you believe it, say a loud Amen.
4. Through tithing.
Malachi 3:10-11. And when the blessing comes, He said: ‘I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes’. These are all outcomes of our commitment to engaging the covenant demand of tithing. Somebody will say: ‘What is tithe’? Tithe is 10 percent! Whatever God brings your way, He said: ‘All the tithe, belongs to Me’. So 10 percent of it belongs to Him. Church Gist. So the tithe is actually not yours, we don’t give tithe, we pay tithe. It is God’s portion that will ensure you don’t lose your portion. That’s what the tithe is. Again, I pray that each one of us will receive grace to maintain our lives as active tithers. If you believe it, say a loud Amen. The tithe is the key that unlocks your heritage of wealth from above. Hebrews 7:8. So when you lay your tithe on the Earth, it answers in Heaven. What does it do in Heaven? It unlocks the supply of our heritage of wealth. Ephesians 1:3.
Now, take note of this: In the natural, we know that the process that produces rainfall is evaporation first, condensation next before there is rainfall. That is, the water on the Earth turns to vapour and rises to the Sky. It gets to the Sky and is condensed into clouds and further condenses into droplets of water before it is allowed to fall on the Earth. Is that true? Our givings are like vapour, they are going up, filling up our cloud but our tithe is the condensation trigger that turns it into droplets of water and causes the rain to fall. Church Gist. Some years ago, I remembered that there was a heavy and thick cloud, the place was black like rain was going to fall heavily but as I looked at the Sky, I saw that the cloud as heavy as it was began to move, it was moving from the area where I was, it was moving like that. I said: ‘What’s going on’? I saw the clouds moving and moving and moving and before you know it, after a while, the darkness was gone. And the Light had come and the Rain went to begin to fall somewhere else. The cloud was heavy but could not be unlocked over that Ground. You see? It is our tithe that unlocks whatever our cloud is pregnant with to make it fall upon our lives. Hear this and hear it very well, if you are not a tither in this Kingdom, things will get tighter. It is the engagement of the tithe that opens our Heavens and causes that which it is pregnant with to begin to fall upon the Earth.
-My prayer this morning is that for each one of us, the grace to maintain our lives as tithers will come afresh upon us.
I remember that as a child, tithing was taught to us in a very practical way. My mother did something which I am forever grateful for, when people will come and maybe a visitor comes and they give you a little money as a child, we will take this money. We have a practice, whatever it is that that money is, you carry the money, and there is a bag that she had, you put the money inside the bag and record it. Twenty naira from so, so and so person, you record it. You drop it in the bag, whatever it is, we knew it. You carry the money, you drop it, you write it. Why were you writing it? So that by the time we collate it, we see what the tithe is, the tithe is paid before the money is touched. Church Gist. It ingrained into me a spiritual sensitivity, that was as a child – Early days of my secondary school, JSS1, JSS2, JSS3, it was ingrained into me the spiritual significance that, ‘record whatever comes’, give God His own before you can touch your own. So we carry it, put it in, record it!! And it was so natural that nobody had to tell you, nobody even had to ask you, you just went there, dropped it, went there, dropped it, record it and then collated it and then at the end it was paid as a tithe. No wonder, Heavens continues to answer. Let us learn it as a practice. Instead of doing all these kinds of spiritual negotiation: No, is it gross, is it net? Is it net, is it gross? No! This one is not, let me remove expenses before I do tithe, no! Anything less than 10 percent of what God brought your way, whatever it is, is not tithe again, it has gone from tithe account, it is only what is 10 percent that is tithe.
-May God grant us grace and wisdom for it.
5. Engage the force of faith.
Faith is a non-negotiable factor in commanding supernatural supplies. Non-negotiable factor. Luke 1:45. So, yes engage the Covenant, engage obedience, engage the pursuit of the harvest, engage in stewardship but also engage in your faith. Be absolutely assured that the covenant cannot fail. Shout Hallelujah! That is so vital and critical, that the covenant cannot fail. Your faith must be engaged wholeheartedly because everything in this Kingdom answers to faith. Where faith is absent, your connection is broken. Our connection to the supplies of Heaven is ultimately a product of our faith, so keep your faith alive. Church Gist. Don’t be bothered about the things happening around, be connected to your faith at every point in time. The covenant can never fail. God’s Servant told us, when the Tabernacle was being built, there were times they would come, ‘We need so, so amount of money, forty million’. He will say: ‘Go ahead’! And as he says so, supply arrives. Faith at high tension level provoking unusual supplies. Unusual supplies! That’s the power and potency of the force of faith. So, ensure your faith is intact, make sure your faith is continuously alive and you will see supernatural supplies coming in your direction in torrents in the name of Jesus Christ.
-My prayer is that, for each one of us, in these hard times for the World, it will be your best times on the Earth. Church Gist. God will turn your life and my life in this season into open wonders in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You believe, say a loud Amen!!
