The Youth Alive Convention kicks off on Tuesday. It shall be a most memorable encounter for every participant. Please all youths in the winners family, endeavour to make it a date with Jesus, you will be glad you did. Life is an adventure in times and seasons. This season of your life is the most fertile season. Church Gist. Ecclesiastes 12:1-1. 1 John 2:14. It is your overcoming era. It is the season where the pace is set for your great future. It is your era of discoveries that secure the great future that God has for you in redemption.
Daniel 11:32. Discovery is what sets the pace for recovery. Avail yourself this prophetic opportunity to access the realm of next levels which is God’s plan for your life. Proverbs 4:18. Church Gist. The path of the justified is ordained to shine more and more, not more and less but you need the key to it and at Youth Alive Convention 2026, God will be putting the key in your hand of continuous and unending progress. This is vital.
You are in your era of laying a strong foundation for the great future that awaits you, don’t play with it. The deeper the foundation of a building, the taller the building that can be erected on it. Church Gist. You can’t scale any more heights than the depth of your foundation. Romans 11:33. Don’t build on sand, get to know more and build a rock. The wiser one is, the higher he flies in the race of life. Proverbs 1:5.
1 Corinthians 3:11. The Word is the sure foundation for a great future. Church Gist. All the youths in the house, stop banking on ability, skill or capacity, build on the Word and you secure a great future.
In 1970, I heard in a conference, God is not slow. What a blessing to my life. Church Gist. Patience is what wins the race of life. 2 Peter 3:9 (RSV) I was 16 years old. What a blessing till tomorrow.
I heard also from the Lord in my search that I had been redeemed as a king and a priest to reign on the earth. That was strange in our own time. We were redeemed to suffer, so we can reign with Christ in Heaven. Now I heard from Revelation 5:10, I have been redeemed as a king and a priest to reign on the earth. Church Gist. It had such a strong hold on me, when I will be going out I will ask myself “David, will a king go out like this?” No! Go and change. It impacted my mentality. Am I a slave today? Please avail yourself.
In 1973, I caught a word that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Church Gist. I mean it came alive so strong. I saw myself above all the attackers of my destiny. They have all given up.
I saw in 1974 that as the partridge lays eggs and hatches it not, so is a man that gets riches and not by right. He shall leave them in the midst of his days and at the end he shall be a fool. I told a friend of mine, his name happened to also be David. I said David don’t touch anything that is not yours, it can cut short your lifespan. Church Gist. He said how did you get that. I shared with him Jeremiah 17:11. He said what is a partridge, I said I don’t know but it lays eggs. So it must be a bird. I was 20 years old. No one has kept any money with me but I separated from anybody’s thing and trying to corner it and call it my thing. What a blessing till tomorrow. Please avail yourself of the opportunity.
Thank God for skill, thank God for capacity but other foundation can no man lay but that which is Christ Jesus. Church Gist. The Living Word is the sure foundation for a great tomorrow. You will have plenty of encounters at AYAC 2026. Don’t ever toy with it.
In 1975, I caught a Word from the Lord, “who is he that says anything and it comes to pass when the Lord has not commanded it.” Lamentations 3:37. Church Gist. It set the pace for my life. Not to let me think I have capacity for anything but to let His Word be what guide my steps. What a blessing. Now, we are celebrating Matthew 6:34, I was 22 years old when I caught it.
It is your season for laying a strong foundation for a great tomorrow, don’t toy with it. Particularly in this end time, when iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold. Church Gist. Get rooted and grounded in Christ to secure your great tomorrow without any setback. That shall be your experience
From AYAC2026, your life shall be going forward only and backwards never.

Church Gist. The Communion table will speak in your family. You’ll remember today for many years to come in the name of Jesus Christ.
Walking in Dominion Over Sickness And Diseases – Part 2. Psalm 30:5.
– This is declared your morning of joy. The end of mourning, weeping and groaning.
Again, I welcome you to this Miracle Banquet, it shall be the dawn of a new day for everyone of us. But what is a miracle? Church Gist. Please listen, I want you to be very intentional because most times we struggle a lot because we don’t have the right key to a door. And when you don’t have the right key, it won’t obey you. Church Gist. What is a miracle? A miracle is the finger of God at work in the affairs of men.
– God’s finger will reach out to you today!
The finger of God at work in the affairs of men. Exodus 8:16-19. Luke 11:20. Now, watch, miracles are no accident, they’re the deliberate acts of God in response to the desperate faith of men. Church Gist. They’re not things that will happen because they’ll happen, they’re things that we provoke to happen by our active faith in God, in His Word and prophets. Jesus saw the faith of those men bringing the paralytic man down the roof. Mark 2:5-9. Church Gist. He saw their faith, they were not waiting for these things to happen, they worked at making it happen.
Miracles are no accidents, they’re the acts of God provoked by the faith of men in confirmation of His Word. Mark 16:20. Church Gist. He sent them to go, they went and His Word came to pass in their lives by granting signs and wonders by their hands. Miracles are no accidents, they’re supernatural manifestations in response to the bold declarations of the saints. Acts 14:3.
– Today, whatever you declare boldly shall be confirmed openly in the name of Jesus!
Psalm 81:10-14. When you open mouth wide, God turns His hands against your adversaries.
– Today, God’s hands shall be turned against every torment and torture of sickness in your life.
So, it’s not about what will happen will happen but we deliberately enforce by faith. Church Gist. Miracles are things we deliberately enforce by faith. That woman went behind the press, in spite of her weakness and touched the helm of His garment and immediately, the issue of blood stopped. Church Gist. She enforced the flow of virtue by her desperate faith and she was made whole!
– Today is your day!
– As you partake of this communion by faith today, the life of God will be activated in your system.
– Whatever is contrary to that divine life shall be forced out of body.
Luke 8:45-48. So, we don’t wish for miracles, we work out miracles.
There is no such gift as the gift of waiting for miracles. What we have in 1 Corinthians 12:10 is the gift of the working of miracles. It’s not waiting, it’s not begging, it’s working. So we must find what makes it work and engage with it and then it works. Church Gist. Phillipians 2:12. Work it out. You want an escape, work it out. To be saved you need to repent. To be healed you have to believe. You don’t wait for these things, you work them out.
You’ll notice something interesting in the Book of Luke. Out of the 24 chapters in that Book, 13 enumerated healing miracles, healing and deliverance miracles, 13. Church Gist. Acts 10:38. God is after our total health. 3 John 1:2.
– God’s will will come through for us today. God’s will is your total health and you are getting it back here today. Jeremiah 30:17. Church Gist. Today is that day! 3 John 1:2. God is interested in your total health and you are returning with it today!
The end time Church is ordained to walk in dominion over all spheres of life, including dominion over sickness and disease before Christ returns. Isaiah 33:24. Sickness will be wiped off, it won’t have a foot hold. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 15:26. So the end time Church will be commanding dominion over sickness, disease and death and we’re in the last days.
– No one dies young in your family!
– No one under the sound of my voice today will die young!
– You will not bury any of your children in the name of Jesus!
2 Corinthians 10:4. But the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they may look ordinary, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. They may look ordinary like the sling in the hand of David, but it brought down Goliath. Church Gist. These weapons may not appear tangible but they don’t lack proofs. Don’t let the simplicity of these weapons confuse you. They are not tangible but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:5.
– You’re walking free today!
According to Scriptures, the Communion empowers believers to live a sickness free life after the order of Christ. John 6:57. John 14:9. So, He lived like the Father, when we eat and drink His blood on the Communion table, we are empowered to live like Him. Church Gist. Whatever you cannot imagine in Christ is not your portion. Can you imagine cancer in Christ? It’s not your portion. Can you imagine pains and strains in Christ? It’s not your portion. Can you imagine blindness, deafness in Christ? It’s not your portion. Can you imagine stroke in Christ? It’s not your portion. John 6:57. So we partake of the Communion to live like Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
How Does The Holy Communion Empowers Believers For Dominion Over Sickness And Disease?
1. We understand from Scriptures that the Holy Communion is a Kingdom toast for our strength, health and vitality. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 11:30. That means if you take it worthily, you are strong, healthy and you enjoy long life.
– You are going with that package today. That 3 fold package of strength, health and longevity, you are going with it from this Communion table in the name of Jesus.
We understand from Scriptures that the life of the flesh is in the blood and Jesus said ‘this is my blood of the New Testament’ So it’s not an idea, it’s a statement of fact. Church Gist. ‘This is my blood’ So you are partaking of His blood to live like Him and that shall be our experience in Jesus name.
We understand that the Communion is made up of both the bread that is the flesh and the drink and that is the blood. Matthew 26:26-28. What this passage does is to let us know, “it’s not a very special package from somewhere that makes it work.” Church Gist. As they were eating, He took from the table where they were eating. He blessed it and gave it to them and He said, “this is my body.” So it is your faith in the table that answers. Not that I bought it from Nazareth. I came down from Galilee. No, no, no. “As they were eating…”
I came across this (in) 1976 in a Church Service where the lesson this morning was read, “I am that bread of life that came down from Heaven that a man may eat and not die.” You eat my flesh, you drink my blood, you have eternal life, ‘human life exchanged for eternal life’ (divine life). Church Gist. So it transmits divine life into believers. “Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness and are dead. He that eateth this bread shall live forever.” It has such capacity to infuse life, divine life that keeps you going. You are there this morning!
Now let’s look at some scriptural graphics. What is in the flesh?
1. The bread can be likened to the rod of God that swallows up all the rods of the magicians in our body. Isaiah 11:1-2. Jesus is the Carrier of the seven Spirits of God as we see enumerated in that Isaiah 11:1-3…that’s the rod. Church Gist. So when you take His body, you are taking in that rod and that rod goes inside to swallow up all the rods of the magicians, all the strangers, all the poisons inside your body.
So as you partake of that flesh this morning, like we saw it in Exodus 7:11, the magicians put down their rods and through their enchantment, they cast down their rods and they became serpents. Church Gist. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. So every stranger hovering your system as you partake of this flesh this morning, they shall be swallowed up!
What’s in that flesh? Let’s look at it again from 2 Kings 4:39-41. The sons of the prophets went out to gather vegetables for food, but they gathered some poisonous ones and they cried to the prophet, “Alas, master, there is death in the pot.” Church Gist. He said, “Bring me a meal, leftover bread, drop it into the pot,” he said, “serve it again.” There was no more poison.
– As this bread comes into your system, every poison shall be neutralized!
– Every hormonal imbalance shall be settled!
– Everything upsetting your system in one way or another will clear the way!
Hosea 12:10. We use illustrations of scriptures to interpret scriptures. That meal is like Christ in prophecy. You drop that meal into the pot of your system…your belly is a pot. It’s a biological pot. Church Gist. That’s why what you eat is not what you pass out. It’s cooked and processed and the waste is thrown out.
– So as you throw this meal into your system today, every poison injected there either in your sleep or when you are awake shall be swallowed up in victory!
You saw hole in the heart all the way in Japan clear the way by the communion. Church Gist. Today as you partake of this, every stranger in your system shall be swallowed up in the name of Jesus!
We had a very humbling testimony here some years back. One of us was out there in India undergoing a bone marrow cancer treatment and they were hooked on to the Service in the morning like this and the communion was being administered. Jesus reached out to them all the way in India. Church Gist. The man partook of the Fanta and the biscuit on the table as it was blessed here; took it in. (On) Tuesday, they went to check; bone marrow cancer gone. Now watch? He came up here one year after to testify. “I was the one healed by the power of God in India. I’m still hale and hearty.
– Today is your day. Today is your day!
– That stranger must clear the way today in the name of Jesus!
Now the bread is the New Testament manna that destroys all forms of weakness and feebleness. Psalm 105:37.
– Feebleness ends in your life today!
– Dragging like a 100 year old person ends in your life today!
Now in Deuteronomy 8:4, the Bible says, “thy raiment waxed not old upon thee neither did thy foot swell these 40 years.” That is, there was no feebleness, there was no swelling, there was no discomfort – 40 years by feeding on manna. John 6:58…That means, this manna is stronger than the one they ate in the wilderness. Church Gist. Yet there was no weakness. There was no swelling. There was no sickness. 40 years.
– As you partake of this communion today, your strength is restored!
– Your health is restored!
– And in Jesus name, you won’t stop having something to show!
What is in the flesh? We saw here in Luke 24:30-31, Jesus blessed the bread and gave it to them, and their eyes were opened. Church Gist. So watch out for this two-level eye-opening: spiritual eye-opening to revelations, and physical healing of your sight.
– Everything not working well with your sight clears off today!
He gave them the bread and their eyes were opened, and they knew Him.
– I decree right now that, at the instance of the communion today, enter into new realms of revelation!
– And I command clarity of your eyesight!
– Every bl!nd eye, be open!
– Every eye defēct, be settled!
– As soon as you take this communion today, you’ll find out that that long-s!ghtēdness is over!
– Short-sightëdness is over!
– That blurr!ng in your eye is over!
That gives you a picture of what is in the flesh.
– As you take the flesh today, expect those multi-level miracles to take place in your life!
Now, what is in the blood? The nature of Christ that is immune to sicknèss and diseáse is in the blood. Church Gist. Leviticus 17:11: “The life of the flesh is in the blood”. So they do blood work to track diseâses in the human body. The life of Christ is on this communion table.
– As you partake of it today, everything in you and me that’s contrary to the life of Christ shall be flushed out in the name of Jesus!
In John 6:54, the Word says: “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day”. Church Gist. Eternal life in the now, and rising up in the last day. Eternal life in the now! Eternal life is in the midst of sicknéss and disèase.
– Therefore, at the instance of the communion table today, eternal life will come awake in you and turn things around for you!
Now, by the communion, we share the same blood group with Christ, and that Church Gist empowers us for dominion over sickness and disease; the same blood group with Christ.
– Therefore, every corrûption of anyone’s blood today, every blood disêase including cañcer that is tormènting anyone here today, as you partake of this blood of Jesus, it will replace that blood!
– You’ll have the proof to show!
The doctors in Japan said to that man, “What is it? Church Gist The hole has disappeared! What is it? How did you get it?”
– That’s how your doctor will be amazed in the name of Jesus!
Again, we can come down there a bit to look at it from this perspective: the blood in communion can be likened to the white blood corpuscles in the human body, which are the soldiers of the body. They defend our body against all assâults of sickñess and disêase. Church Gist. Why do I call it the white blood corpuscles? Because Christ knew no sin, it is His stainless blood. And when we take it in, He goes in a battle against every stranger in our system.
1 Corinthians 11:26: “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come”. Church Gist. It leaves you with something to show. As often as you take it, you begin to show it. It begins to show in your life.
– Today, you partake of this communion, it will start showing on the spot!
– Get ready, it’s your turn for a change of story!
Before we round up, I’d like you to take note of this: every miracle is an outcome of our active partnership with God. Church Gist. Whatever He tells you to do, do it, and leave Him to do the rest. John 2:5.
We work miracles by engaging the Word. We engage the truth of scriptures to trigger the miraculous. Church Gist. “Thou shalt take this rod in thy hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.” Exodus 4:17. It is by the Word that we work miracles.
Now watch: you will put all the effort you have in your life without a spanner, it is not cheap to loosen a bolt. But when you engage a spanner, you are smiling, and the bolt is answering. The Word is the spanner that loosens the bolt that bolts you down and sets you free. Church Gist. Please watch it: “Thou shalt take this rod in thy hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs”. They don’t happen on their own; we have to engage with them. “Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord”.
But the Word delivers only by active faith. Say with me, “Active faith.” Church Gist. That is faith with corresponding action as saw in Abraham, Moses, and Paul.
Watch the active faith of the following delivered supernaturally: The paralytic man in Mark 2:1-12. Church Gist. There was no room and he said bring me down from the top. Someone came down here from Jos, a student. She had a lump in her breast and I said, “Look, there is communion service this coming Sunday.” So, she travelled all the way from Jos. She returned back free forever. Active faith! To take that journey means she believes that her miracle is waiting there.
· Somebody is here today, no matter the doctor’s declaration concerni itng you, God is turning things around in your favor!
We saw blind Bartimaeus, Church Gist. He won’t let go. “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.” They said keep quiet, he said quiet what? Jesus! Jesus stood still and responded.
· Today, He will stand still for you!
Mark 10:47-52. The Canaanite woman cried, “Have mercy. My daughter is possessed by devils.” And Christ said, “Look, I’m not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Church Gist. We don’t give what belongs to children to dogs.” She said, “Dogs can also eat what falls from the table. Oh woman!! Great is thy faith. Have it the way you want it. Desperate active faith made it happen. So, whatever He tells you to do, do it and He will take care of the rest. This is the covenant trigger for miracles. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. Do it, believing and then you have the answer.
Concerning the Holy communion. Church Gist. As often as you do this, you do show the Lord’s death till He comes. In remembrance of me, that I already paid the price. I paid the price already. So, you are enforcing the delivery of your package because the price has been fully paid. 1 Corinthians 6:20.
· Whatever does not glorify God in your life must clear the way today in the name of Jesus!
When we engage active faith on what the communion table offers, it always leaves us with something to show.
· Your miracle is here!
Now if you watch this mystery in scriptures, Jesus administered the communion to the redeemed, to His disciples, not to the general public. So, it is the children’s bread. It is a children’s drink. Church Gist. Even when He rose from the dead, He administered it only to the disciples.
Thou shalt take this rod in thy hand wherewith thou shall do signs. The word of God is the spanner that keeps us in command of signs and wonders. It loses impossible bolts and you flow in the supernatural naturally. Look at this book, I read this book 30th of August 1980, ‘Seven Things You Should Know About Divine Healing’ by Kenneth. E. Hagin. Church Gist. The last page, the last statement, Jesus opened my eyes and I screamed, “Yay, I can never be sick.” August 30th, 1980.This is the book. Only those who seek will find. Only the ones that knock will have the door opened. It is by the word we gain command of the supernatural. No shortcut. Begging for miracles, you’ll keep begging for life. But getting to know what to do from His word and doing it commits God to confirm it.
· Your days of struggles not only over your head but in all areas of life comes to an end today in the name of Jesus!
The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. They are not waiting for the oration, the big grammar. Church Gist. They’re waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. This comes by engaging the word by faith. Taking the communion without faith is a waste of time. Whatever is not of faith is sin and the wages of sin is death. It cannot produce results. So, let your faith come alive in the things you have heard concerning the communion table and engage with it.
We have books here recommended, over to you. It is your discovery today that defines your recovery tomorrow. Church Gist. So, set yourself to fortify your stand in God against all satanic molestations and you’ll be glad you did. Your days of struggle must end by commitment to what makes it work. Trying to lose a bolt with your bare hand. Your hand will wear out. The bolt will not move. But put a spanner, you’ll be smiling and it’s loosening. That’s what the word is in commanding signs and wonders.
I must tell you this and I want to say it openly. Everything you see working in my life is triggered by the word. Church Gist. Discovery from the word has resulted in my recovery. Please settle down and engage. If I read a book in August 1980 and I still could pluck it out this morning, not that I’m looking right, I can tell where it is. So, over to you. The world is waiting. We are redeemed to save the world and we can only do that by demonstration in the name of Jesus.
