No other force has power over darkness but light. Activity has no power over darkness but light. Length of days in service has no power over darkness but light. No other force empowers anything to shine but light. Life is meaningless without light. Jesus, the ultimate light is called the Sun of Righteousness. He is the Living Word. Light in the Word shatters darkness without struggle. Psalm 119:4. Light, the master of darkness anytime, anywhere and any day. It is not the thickness of the darkness that torments us, it is the absence of light. The absence of light is auto access into the realm of darkness where there is always weeping and gnashing of teeth. By the light of God’s Word that empowers believers over sickness and disease, this being the last Sunday, you are not just returning free, you are walking home with the key that puts you over it. Church Gist. Light broke through in my search on God’s purpose for marriage and I knew, light can’t come without you knowing and I said now I am set for hitch-free marriage. It is not a language people spoke in those days. It has only become formal now because many people are walking in that light and commanding the same order of testimony. Forty one years have passed, I have not had a prayer point on my marriage. Oh Lord let this marriage work. Light is the master of darkness any day, anywhere.
I caught the light on not borrowing forty two years ago, I have never been tempted to. That is the common thing all over the world but Abraham didn’t borrow, Isaac didn’t borrow, Jacob didn’t borrow. I have not borrowed, I have not lacked and I have not begged. Light is everything. We live in a world of darkness and darkness torments, but when you gain access to light and you are walking in it. The light you put in your portmanteau cannot have any impact. The torchlight you put in your pocket cannot show you the way to go. It is walking in the light that puts you over the forces of darkness. Church Gist. Every air of darkness around anyone’s life on any issue of life shall be shattered this morning. Light does not come through via intellect. No! The secret things belong unto God, the ones He reveals are the ones that belong to us. Deuteronomy 29:29. Never use intellect to appraise the truth, they are in two far apart classes. Today, God will humiliate sickness and disease in your life and that for life.
Lord honour your Word today. Show us light. Psalm 118:27. Show us your light today and let it shatter every darkness of sickness and disease.
Congratulations to all the youths in the house. I saw great destinies, I saw great futures in an assembly, I saw the highest concentration of giants the world has ever known rising from here. I was not physically in all the sessions but I was on for quite a number on the system, I saw creative outpouring, creative downpour, you better subject your sons and daughters to this thing before it is too late. Spiritual inoculation creates a future. People get hooked into God, there is nothing that you can leave for any child under heaven outside connecting them to God that guarantees rest tomorrow. I saw mercy, I knew Jesus on time and I kept following him madly and he kept making me colourfully. The blessings were released upon everyone there but the blessings require that you take personal responsibility to make them manifest. Church Gist. Get those materials of this convention and feed yourself to the next levels. I have nothing I am using, I am just trading the mysteries of the Kingdom as a way of life. I saw a huge church when we were 24, I told them that I was seeing crowds that you can’t see. How did I see it? From the Word. It shows what to do to get what you are looking for. When you do what He says to do, leave the rest for Him.
I told one of my sons yesterday that I am so relaxed that people will think it is a lie. All round resty, compound rest. When you insult me, I just take it as an observation that may be wrong. An inference that may be faulty, so you are forgiven because you have a right to. I have never taken any man to prayer for insulting me in my life. That “God deal with this man” For what? Church Gist. He is expressing his opinion. Jesus never cursed the man who said he wouldn’t pass through Samaria, he just went through another way. He didn’t even find out his name. May all these frivolities of life that get you disturbed leave you alone from now.
WALKING IN DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASE.
The verdict is to have dominion over sickness and diseases. Jeremiah 8:22. The end time Church is ordained to walk in dominion in all spheres of life, including dominion over sickness and diseases. Church Gist. He is coming to rapture home a church without spot or wrinkle, without blemish. In the precious name of Jesus, every spot or wrinkle or blemish on anyone’s life and health must clear off today.
However, the weapons of our warfare may not appear tangible but they are powerful and never lack proof. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. Church Gist. We have been trying to identify demonic spirits behind diverse sicknesses and diseases. This morning we look at two of them.
1. The spirit of pride.
Pride is poison to the body. It can cause physical decadence. It can upturn the DNA of a man and turn him into a beast. We saw how pride came upon Herod and worms ate him up. Poisonous and destructive. Acts 12:21-24. Pride! It does not only affect your career and your profession, it affects your body. Daniel 4:30. Nebuchadnezzar stood up and said “This great kingdom was built by my might.” By your might? It overturned his DNA and he became a beast. Pride, it looks ordinary but it is so destructive. There are people that no matter what you say here they already know it but it is not showing so you don’t know it. John 8:32. Whatever doesn’t set you free, you don’t know it. They don’t believe that they don’t know. They know so much. Yes, I know he will quote 1 John 5:4. You have heard it, you have read it but you don’t know it. Church Gist. You shall know not you shall read. The truth you know will set you free to prove that you know it. Any truth that does not have proof, you have not known. John 8:36. You will be free tangibly, you will see it there. I had read Copeland’s book four times but I didn’t know what he was talking about so I said I wanted to know what was in this book. So I went on a fast. Can I humble you with this? I was preaching it because to preach what you heard is not a problem, just understand what you heard and discharge. One day I said I had not found what this man found and I went in search of it. He that seeks, finds. When you think that you know, you won’t seek. You won’t seek, you won’t find and if you don’t find the struggle continues.
There is no devil in hell that can stop the truth that you know from delivering. The devil is out of the equation when revelation is in place. Darkness can’t say “What do you mean by light? Nonsense.” Come to where light is, you will not exist anymore. If language permits, the grosser the darkness the stronger the impact of light. Headlamps in the day are a nuisance but in the night they are an asset. Pride is a killer, get out of it. Pride is a killer, many have killed their businesses through pride. They look pious but when they get to their room, “I just thank God, in that Church is there anybody like me? No! In my field, not even in Lagos. You know the church we go to, they don’t recognize anybody and that is the problem. I am not going there again” When you were there what were you doing? Stop doing “yanga”. Church Gist. You will just finish yourself before you know it. I saw that pride impacts negatively on health, so stay off it. Celebrate God in the corner of your room for every good thing that people may be clapping for you for. Jesus, I am not the one. A number of ministers will minister and say virtue left them, virtue has never left me in my life. The virtue that heals and raises the dead is not my virtue. If you remove my virtue, then I will be dead. Jesus was just looking for a microphone, a channel to channel his virtue through. So when you say that you are the owner, you just lose it. Nothing is flowing through you. Pride is a killer. Somebody sits down in Church and he is not taking any notes, he is just sitting.
Pride kills. It killed many in the scriptures. You are free from it. Do you know what? Satan is the author of pride. Pride sent him out of heaven down into hell and he is looking for how many people he can take along. Proverbs 16:18. Hosea 5:5-6. Pride is an iniquity that leads to a fall. When God withdrew Himself from Samson, he became a toy in the hands of his enemies. Church Gist. Pride makes God withdraw Himself. Church Gist. He resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble. Pride has broken many homes. The man is proud and the woman is proud, Satan says I am not there, you are the one. The home scatters and you start crying oh God what is all this? You are the ‘all this.’ Somebody is free right now, I cast out every spirit of pride hiding in any corner of everyone’s life.
2. The deaf and dumb spirit.
Mark 9:17-18. Let’s call those two things disabilities. Jesus called it, the spirit of infirmity. Matthew 8:16. Disability includes issues with your sight, your hearing, your walking, and everything about you that makes you weaker than a man should be. Infirmity is a spirit, disability is a spirit. It has no medical cure. Spiritual things have no medical cure. Until you tune in to the spirit realm, you carry it throughout life. Every plague on anyone’s life that is a machination of the spirit of infirmity, I curse them and cast them out of your life right now. You are free. Church Gist. The doctors will diagnose the symptoms but they don’t know the root. If it is today, they will take that person on and try to adjust his vocal system, it is the devil. The more you do it, the more complicated it becomes. In the name of Jesus, every hand of the wicked behind any form of disability in anyone’s life, that force is broken today. You are walking free out of this service. Jesus was teaching and the power of God went forth to heal them, the power of God is going forth right now and you are returning with your healing, health and wholeness in the name of Jesus.
We are looking at the name weapon this morning. What is in the name of Jesus that confers dominion over sickness and diseases? While Jesus was physically on earth, he went about healing all manner of sicknesses and diseases. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Church Gist. So he is still healing today from all manner of sickness and disease. That is not strange for us in this church, it is what we are used to. All kinds of sickness and diseases. He went about doing good and healing everyone oppressed of the devil, he has the authority of the Father to do it.
The name of Jesus is God’s irrevocable gift of the Father that remains in force till date. Romans 11:29. Philippians 2:9-11. Wherever the war is raging from, the name has the God given authority to deal with it. There was war in heaven in Revelation 12:7, whether the battle is from the heavens, earthly battles with agents of the devil, the wicked and from underneath the earth – demons from hell. They broke jail to come out and torment innocent people. Remember they were reserved in darkness until the day of judgement but they broke jail and came out to torment people. Church Gist. Whichever way the battle is coming from, the name has the authority to deal with it as given by the Father. That is no force in heaven or earth can revert it, it is the gift of the Father. Even after Elisha died, they threw an individual they wanted to bury in the sepulchre of Elisha, the gift was there in the dry bones. That is to tell you how the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. Till forever, the name of Jesus is master over all battles any one of us may ever face. No matter from what realm any of them is coming. Church Gist. You find it when He walked on the earth that demon possessed people will meet Him and say “what have you to do with us? Jesus, have you come to torment us?” he torments them. He destroys them. There is no wild dog or wicked lion that dares the fire. They say who are you? You say I am a lion. Do you know what fire is? And so what? He walks into it, it will fry him and turn him into pepper soup. Whosoever has seen me has seen the Father. The Father is a consuming fire, so when Jesus steps on the scene, every evil beast takes cover. All demonic forces are referred to as beasts. All demonic forces will take cover when Jesus, the consuming fire, shows up. So your tormentors are now in trouble.
There are things we say but we don’t really know them. Psalm 91:14. He is not chanting my name, he has known the content of my name. The virtue of my name, the worth of my name. So I will set him above. Whosoever is from above is above all. Church Gist. You walk in the midst of battles triumphant. He will enjoy walkovers over terrible battles because he has known my name. What we are here for today is to unveil his name. When you come to know it, it sets you above.
What is in the name? The power and authority of the bearer of the name is in His name. Take for example a President of a nation, one can enter any place in his domain with his name. Just to say I am from Mr President and that is all, they will open the door straight. But if you say it is true and it is not true, you are now in trouble. The mention of his name in truth will get any gates of iron and brass to open up in his domain. Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, at His name every knee must bow. Every gate must open of things on earth, things in heaven and underneath the earth. You go in His name, you go with His power and authority. His name stands to be hallowed, respected, honoured and obeyed in His domain. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and all that dwells in them, whether humans or demons. Church Gist. That is His domain. So His name must strike a chord wherever you invoke that name as a legitimate son and daughter. If you get to any company in Nigeria and say I am from Mr President they will answer you. If they are slow in answering and a call comes from the Presidency, they will salute you and apologize to you. If the door is not opening fast enough and you say it is written, that is Jesus calling on the phone because in these last days, He speaks to us by His Son. Church Gist. So every “It is written…” is Jesus on the phone to that barrier. Hello, did you see that person I sent there? Ah! Sorry Sir. Please enter. The name is not a conjunction in prayer, it is the rod of God in our hand. It will torment any Pharaoh and bring him to his knees. All the gods of Egypt came under the siege of the rod and they were helpless. They were cast into the sea and they drowned. “In the name of Jesus, clear up. It is written,” That is Jesus on the line. What do you do? Take cover to avoid His dagger.
Please understand the power and the authority, the unction and authority of Christ is in His name. No more molestation in your life. No more assault of the enemy on your life. No more assault of the enemy on your family. We saw how faith in the name cast out devils. Luke 10:17. We saw the name healing all manner of sickness and diseases. Mark 16:17-19. Church Gist. Signs and wonders are wrought in His name. They were preaching the Word in His name and He was confirming it with signs and wonders following. Mark 16:20. Acts 4:13. His name shall be called wonderful. His name is loaded with wonders. Isaiah 9:6. So when you say the name of Jesus you are releasing the wonders in the carrier of that name is what you are invoking.
1 John 1:1. Peter said such as I have, what my hands have handled. Rise up and walk. Acts 3:16. Such as I have… His name. I want you to own the name leaving this service. You have heard about the name, you have seen revelations of the name, it is time to possess the name. I have heard it, I have looked upon it, now I have it. Such as I have. Back in 1980, someone was attacked by the spirit of insanity and Jesus healed him and the demons came back and they called on me and said they had a problem here. I said when I got there, “Is this the problem?” Leave him. I put Jesus on the phone. “The angels that left their estate kept not their habitations, they are put in darkness till the day of judgement. Come out there in the name of Jesus” and the demons left. I want you to own the name like Peter. Say ‘I must own the name’. It is the right of every believer. Every believer has the power of attorney to use that name. Church Gist. That name is handed on to you as a heritage. It must work in your hand. If you have the name, you have the authority of the bearer of that name. You invoke the name, you invoke the power and authority of the carrier of that name. You own the name, sickness will bow down to you, diseases will bow down to you, accidents will bow down to you. That man was drowning and he said “Jesus, I refuse to die” and a strange hand, the hand of Jesus is still alive. A strange hand held him until the rescue boat came and it put him there. Everybody else perished in that incident. Jesus, I refuse to die because he knew the worth of that name. When you own the name it is stronger than the strongest prayer. Peter didn’t pray for that man “such as I have, in the name of Jesus rise up and walk”. He was conscious of what he had. I have the name of Jesus so I carry the power and authority of Christ to deal with the battles of life.
The Father has committed all judgement to His son. John 5:22. Whatever He says on any issue is final. The name of Jesus secures access and response from heaven on the altar of prayer. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, I will do it. Access, audience with the Father and response from the Father are all triggered by the name. John 14:13-14. It is our guarantee for answered prayers. John 16:23-24. It is all a response to our revelation of His name, the name of Jesus. Jesus came, Satan was playing around. On the Mount of Temptation you heard Jesus saying it is written three times and Satan left. When you call on that name and the gate is slow in opening then come about with the appropriate it is written on that subject matter. Church Gist. There are people in this service today that by engaging this revelation, your long awaited miracle job will land. Your long awaited marital restoration will be secured. Every negative medical verdict on your health shall be reversed. So much authority in that name. Nothing has the capacity to resist that authority in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth. Hold that name with all the confidence in the world. Hebrews 1:1-3. He has appointed Him over all things. So He speaks to us by His son. When you call, it is written by faith, Jesus on the phone, all devils take cover. Jesus speaking, all devils take over.
Let’s look at the manifest authority of the name of Jesus in scriptures. Mark 16:17-20. Acts 3:6. Acts 4:30. That name triggers the flow of signs and wonders. Acts 8:5-8. Philip was preaching the power and authority in the name of Jesus and there was an eruption of signs, wonders and diverse miracles. Church Gist. So much authority is in that name that we can’t afford to fold our hands and let the devil torment us. The days of torment and torture over anyone’s life are over.
Let’s see this dramatic thing that this name provoked. Acts 9:32-35. The power and authority of that name was invoked and he arose immediately. Somebody is here right now in the name of Jesus, with this new revelation and higher insight of what that name carries, you will walk free in this service. It shows how much Peter was conscious of his possession of that name. Many will turn to the Lord by your victory in the name of Jesus. But the name does not work in the hands of Jack and Harry. There were some sons of Sceva who said “In the name of Jesus that Paul preaches, come out”. The demons came out and molested them, assaulted them, tore them into pieces. We saw Gehazi was given the rod of the prophet to go and lay on the dead child and he said he waketh not. Church Gist. It won’t work in His hand, His heart was not right with God. That was the rod of the prophet but Jesus is the rod of God. Isaiah 11:2. Revelation 5:6. He was the Lamb of God that carries seven spirits of God upon His life. That rod will not work on anyone’s life, it will work on those who have a right heart with God. Peter said to Simon “Your heart is not right with God. You can’t be a partaker of it” so one’s heart must be right with God for the name to deliver.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18. Proverbs 18:22. You have to be a bonafide son and daughter for this name to work. Not being in the Church in the morning and herbalist in the night, it won’t work. Gehazi was a thief, it didn’t work in his hand. “Cleanse yourself and then you will be my sons and daughters” and then it will work in your hand. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children. You can’t partake of an inheritance in a family you don’t belong to. No! The good news today is that ‘Enough is Enough’. Enough of messing around. Enough of toying with your destiny. Games don’t fly with God. Eye service doesn’t fly with God. Hypocrisy doesn’t work with God. It doesn’t work in everybody’s hands. It works in those whose hearts are right. Church Gist. They are not playing games. If God can’t do it, let it remain undone. Those are the men it works for. Not a talisman in your pocket and Jesus in your mouth. “Jesus, I call your name now. Papa said when I call your name you will answer”. He won’t answer. A double-minded person is unstable in all his ways, let him not think he shall receive anything from God. Stop playing and toying with your life. God knows your secrets, He knows your thoughts afar off. If it doesn’t work in your hands, ask yourself questions.
Please note that ‘Enough is Enough’ is ever the command of the faith of Believers. Mark 11:23-24. Faith requires a good conscience to deliver. 1 Timothy 3:9. I think the trouble with many of us in these parts of the world is looking here and there. Come to Church in the morning, walk around in the night looking for who will help you for one thing or another. Then you come in the morning for devotion. Devotion to who? Let’s stop playing games. I have not added anything to Jesus since He saved my soul 54 years running, I am still bouncing. The devil can’t help you, he has never been known to help anybody. So how long are you going to be hanging around error? No! Do you know why God answers me? Whatever you cannot do for me, let it remain undone. Church Gist. Whatever you can’t give me, may I never have it. Wherever you can’t take me, may I never get there? You can’t flash anything in my face. For what? I don’t need it. If God be God, serve Him. Enough of struggling for survival. That is not your portion in Christ. Refuse to sell off your birthright to nonsense counsel. You can’t be on God’s side and lack good. Good will be trailing you all your life if you care to stay on God’s side. It is your turn at last.
1. Faith is not a religious theory.
Faith is a kingdom mystery with divine capacity to quench all the fiery darts of the devil. Faith is not a theory, it has the capacity to quench all the fiery darts of the devil. Your Church is a proof that faith is a tangible force but to the world it is an intangible thing. Everything in this Commission was faith generated. ‘Enough is Enough’ of giving the devil room to make God look like He is unfaithful whereas you are the one that is unfaithful and unsteady. If you don’t tell yourself the truth you will live long under pressure. Church Gist. The prodigal son told himself the truth one day and his situation turned, he said “Oh boy come oh, will you end your life like this?” he said No! He preached to himself, repented, made an altar call and answered it. It is time to speak to yourself and tell yourself this is what belongs to me in the faith. Where am I missing it? Just be genuine. Today as you reposition, every siege in your life will be turned into a testimony. God changed the story of Ahab overnight just in a moment by genuine response to the charge. Ephesians 6:16.
2. Faith supernaturally brings the hand of God to bear on any given situation for our desired turnaround.
God’s hand cannot be stopped. You can’t stop His hand. Isaiah 14:27. Church Gist. Today God is stretching His hand upon the issues of your life and it shall be a seal of ‘Enough is Enough’.
3. Faith taps into divine virtue that puts a stop to all harassment of our health at the command of our faith.
That woman touched the hem of his garment and the flow of blood ceased. For 12 years, she spent all her living on physicians and she was no better. As soon as she touched the hem of his garment, her case was settled. Luke 8:44-48. Somebody’s case is settled by faith right now. ‘Enough is Enough’ does not answer to cries, it answers to your faith. Faith in God who has the capacity to stop anything at any point in time. Church Gist. Any issue of long continuance in anyone’s life is a curse and Christ has delivered us from the curse of the law. So it is illegal to stay off. Whatever has gone beyond a moment is enough. You are walking free today in the name of Jesus.
4. Faith provokes divine intervention in our favour.
Daniel 3:28. They came out of the fiery furnace without a smell of fire on them because they trusted in their God. Word-rooted faith will always deliver from the heat of any battle. Daniel 6:23. Church Gist. You are coming out of that assault of the wicked today as you put your faith on the line in the finished work of Christ. Church Gist.
– Barrenness clears the way today.
– Sleeplessness clears the way today.
– Nightmares stop here today.
– The spirit of fear stops in someone’s life today.
– Anxiety, uncertainty, dispel, despondency, whatever castes a man’s head down is the devil, in the name of Jesus you are free from it.
– Suicide thoughts clear off your path today.
Watch the following folks. The paralytic man, the blind Bartimaeus, the woman with the issue of blood, they all engaged their ‘Enough is Enough’ faith to secure their testimony. There is no room in the inn and he said go through the roof. Jesus saw their faith and said Take your bed and go home. He had an ‘Enough is Enough’ drive. This thing must end today. Bartimaeus said who is passing? They said Jesus. Jesus who raised the dead? Today is my day. He started shouting. They said shut up. He shouted louder and Jesus said come. That was the ‘Enough is Enough’ faith calling. When your ”Enough is Enough” faith comes alive, the challenge of your life will clear the way. Church Gist. The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd in her weakness, she was losing blood for 12 years, she pressed through with all that security around Christ until she touched. That means ‘Enough is Enough’, today I must get it. Somebody’s heart is speaking right now that this thing must end today. I don’t know what that thing is but it must end today. God never lies, that situation must bow today to the name of Jesus. ‘Enough is Enough’ in the name of Jesus.
The just shall live by His faith. Habakkuk 2:4. No preacher’s faith can be a substitute for your faith. Jesus was in Nazareth, he couldn’t heal them. He marvelled at their unbelief. It is your faith that will secure your ‘Enough is Enough’ package so mind your faith at this time. Remember that God is ever willing. Matthew 8:1-2. He is always able. Mark 10:27. He is ever ready. 2 Corinthians 6:2. Every day is God’s day but the day you believe is your day. Church Gist. Today is declared your day. God wants all our concerns turned into testimony, therefore every challenge of your life shall return as turnaround testimonies.
Eli just declared ‘Enough is Enough’ to Hannah and God remembered her. As God’s priest over this house by the grace of election, I decree every item on your ‘Enough is Enough’ list turned into testimony.
I went to pray one night and I returned back from the forest. I laid in bed and I found my body stiff on the bed. I was looking around but no part of my body could move. I wasn’t sleeping. It was a raw attack of “I am taking you today.” Church Gist. Then in my heart, I said Jesus just let me open my mouth. I didn’t know I could call that name in my heart. In Jesus name and everything just lifted. That is how much power is in that name.
– Every siege of the wicked on every item listed loses its grip today.
– Everyone who believes in this prophetic declaration will testify.
God turns captivity, in response to our sacrifice. Psalm 126:1-3.
– In the name of Jesus, I decree your ‘Enough is Enough’ package delivered today as a reward for your service.
– The week is declared your week of testimonies.
