Never come for a meeting like this with an unprepared heart. Where you are seated is not as important as where your heart is. Never approach a meeting like this with a casual heart. Church Gist. This is because these 7 days are not for fun. Whatever is that issue of your life you will end with a testimony. You couldn’t have left your offices, your houses, your jobs to be in God’s presence expecting to go without PRESENTS. You are in His PRESENCE to go home with PRESENTS. Church Gist. You didn’t come just for fun whether you’re online or in Church. You’re here for a purpose. If you’re online make sure you’re wrapped; off every other event, turn off whatever you’re doing. You don’t be in God’s presence and you’re cooking; that’s not worship. You’re online and you are cooking, you are cooking; you are not worshipping God. If you’re worshipping then be wrapped. Church Gist. Dress properly, sit in God’s presence. Don’t say because you are online, you’re busy doing some things. Then, you’re not worshipping God. When you want to worship, off everything and focus on the worship. And I know as I know, the God who gave the word for this week will make sure you go with a testimony. Thank you Father.
The theme for the July Week of Spiritual Empowerment is, ‘LET’S PRAISE HIM.’ The subtopic is, ‘PROVOKING DIVINE VENGEANCE’ for today.
Hear this people of God: By redemption as children of God we are supposed to enjoy the best. You know why? No father will have anything and give to the neighbors’ children before his own children. If your children say they are hungry and your neighbors’ children say they are hungry, definitely, a father will give to his children first. Church Gist. And if the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, God is the owner of everything, then, sinners are not supposed to be the ones who should be at the top. The best is supposed to be for the children of God.
John 10:10b (AMPC)
- Suffering is not of God, it is ending in this 7 days meeting.
It is what you believe you become. He created you to enjoy life not to endure life. 1 Peter 2:9. Your Christianity and your life should be a marvel to people. Church Gist. Hear this: if you don’t believe it, God can’t do it. He said, ‘I want to put you as a showpiece on the Earth, where people will see you and want to be like you.’ I don’t care the level you were before you came; it will change in this meeting.
Hear what God said: ‘You are the salt of the Earth.’ Matthew 5:13-14. He said without you the entire world will lose taste. So He created you to preserve the destinies of men. Through you people will say, ‘wow! It’s good to be a Christian.’ Church Gist. We are the light of the world so we should be envied by people not pitied by people. People should not tell you, ‘I pity you.’ We are blessed people and not to be living like people under curses.
Hear this and hear me well: when things go contrary to God’s purpose then something is fundamentally wrong. If God says you are the light, you’re a chosen generation, and then life is going contrary then something is wrong somewhere. Somebody cannot tell you ‘I’ve given you something’ then, that thing they gave to you, you’re not enjoying it. Church Gist. Will you just fold your hands? Understand that some forces are responsible; they are limiting you from what God has for you because God’s purpose for your life is to be an envy to your world. So, when you’re not an envy, you become a pitiable situation then something is definitely wrong.
Hear this: in Matthew 13:24-28, Jesus gave a parable. Please get angry when things are not working; never fold your hands to watch evil prevail against you. Church Gist. Matthew 11:12. If there is no reaction, there will be no motion. Things are not working and you’re just watching, laughing. No!
- Today, your reaction will give you testimony in the name of Jesus!
I want to steer you to a point where you react. Church Gist. Hear me and hear me well: when I became born again, I told myself, ‘this is not how God wants me to be.’ I reacted, o can never forget. Midnight, 1995, I stood at a place and I said no, this is not God’s plan for my life. Church Gist. I prayed a prayer with a holy anger. I said things must turn and from that moment, things turned.
Please, people have told you sorry enough; you will react today. Don’t await people to be telling you sorry; you’re not a pitiable person, no! Sinners are there; you know why? Church Gist. They do things, children of God will just come, ‘(singing) Jesus is coming soon.’ No, Christianity is beyond that!
There is a part of Scriptures people don’t preach. Say, ‘I will do something about my life and destiny.’ So, what is it that you must do when things are not working?
1) You have to invoke vengeance upon the forces resisting your redemptive rights from being fulfilled: this part of the Gospel, people don’t like it, but you have to like it.
Now hear this for the benefit of those who are not Bible students because we have all manner of preaching today who contradict themselves. So we better go to the Scriptures to know what vengeance is. Church Gist. Some people don’t believe in vengeance even in this Church. They quote Bible upside down and that’s why you must be a Bible student because if you’re not a Bible student, even a pastor can deceive you. Please read Bible for yourself. Can somebody tell me not to pay tithe? I’ll be foolish. I’ve read Bible for myself so nobody can preach to me. Church Gist. Me, I saw it from the Bible so somebody cannot tell me ‘don’t pay tithe.’ I don’t need you to preach to me, I’ll pay tithe till I die. Please read Bible, Pastor can go astray. Any Gospel outside the one Jesus has preached is nonsense gospel. Any gospel not improving somebody, watch it.
Luke 4:18-20; Isaiah 61:1-2
You see verbatim Isaiah prophesying two dispensations: dispensation of Jesus and dispensation of the Holy Ghost. Church Gist. Isaiah said the ministry of Jesus will end with the acceptable year of the Lord but after that, the new dispensation will start with the day of vengeance of our God.
Vengeance began with the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. I will show you example in the Bible. In Acts 13:8-11, you know why Paul said he should be blind? When Jesus dealt with Paul he was blind for 3 days. Church Gist. So Paul understood that when somebody is blind, it is the worst thing that can happen to the person. Remember if it was the time of Jesus, Jesus could have told him not to do it because when Peter, James and John said ‘can we call fire?’,Jesus said don’t call fire. But this dispensation was different.
- I stand to decree, everyone standing to distract you from Christianity, challenging the God you serve, I command them go blind in the name of Jesus.
Vengeance is God’s end time agenda for the last days. Luke 18:7-8. Within these 7 days you’re the one who will be doing things; just be calculative. Church Gist. Just get angry and say, ‘who is behind my poverty? This is the end of you.’ Paul said speedily, be blind you this stupid man.
A young man terrorized a place called Aba, Abia State. Osisikankwu, this young man terrorized people. He was so notorious that people could not travel from Aba, the Eastern part of Nigeria, to Rivers state Oni part. Church Gist. Every day they kidnapped people; they were killing people. Then, they shot a staff working with us. Shot him, he escaped death; bullet was everywhere on the car. He escaped because they stopped him, the young man refused to stop, they opened fire on him. I saw the picture; I said, ‘what is his name?’ They said ‘Osisikankwu.’
On a Thursday I came up here like this, and I said, if Osisikankwu does not die this weekend, God did not call me. Church Gist. Friday he was killed; I said it on Thursday, Friday he was killed.
- I am standing in the office God called me, anyone tormenting you dies this weekend in the name of Jesus! He will answer speedily!
Hear this and hear me well: until God dealt with Pharaoh and the army of Egypt, Israel could not be free. God showed all the signs, Pharaoh said who is that God? There are some people they will even challenge you to your face, ‘which God you say you serve?’ Church Gist. In the same way, our liberty and comfort comes when vengeance answers. Please don’t watch the wicked sit on your destiny; that is religious foolishness. It is absolute ignorance to watch the wicked sit on your destiny.
Let me say this to you, ‘God has two sides.’
1 Samuel 2:6. People only know one side of God; they only know God makes alive, they don’t know God kills. Who killed Pharaoh? Are you holier than God? Psalm 7:11.
- Whoever said you will not rest will be laid to rest in the name of Jesus
We live in a wicked world, so don’t be deceived. A young man went to a nation, New Zealand, and shot in a shopping complex. I think it was some days ago. Church Gist. A nation where they don’t do such, he carried the rifle and just entered shopping complex and shot people. New Zealand people they don’t do such. You can hear that in Boko Haram countries; but it will end, it will end even in Nigeria in the name of Jesus.
1 John 5:19. There’s wickedness everywhere. Psalm 74:20. That you’re laughing some people are angry; that you wear clothes some people are angry. Church Gist. They didn’t buy the cloth for you, they are angry that you are dressing. That’s how wicked man is. When I go for evangelism, some people when they see me they frown. I just say, ‘this one they hate me.’ You just see the anger, it’s remaining for them to say, ‘my friend, I don’t like you’ but they’re careful because when you see the crowd around me if you do so they will kill you. Church Gist. You know that were afraid of Jesus because of the multitude; you don’t know multitude makes people to fear? You try me, the crowd that follows me will just mob you. But you will see the anger, they will just frown. Me too, I’m a wise man, I will just leave such people; I don’t give them handbill, I won’t give them anything. Some people will frown and you see poverty on then when they are frowning. Church Gist. God sent me to help you and you are frowning for me. Some of you in your compound, they are angry with it. That’s the wicked world.
In this kind of wicked world, whatever mocks you is entitled to be curse with a holy anger. Church Gist. Now, in case you are very religious, God cursed, Jesus cursed, Holy Ghost cursed; and you’re not holier than the 3 of them. Let me show you from Bible so you will now tell me who you resemble if you’re not cursing. You only know that God blesses, but you don’t know that God curses. Church Gist. Genesis 12:3; Psalm 7:11; Exodus 22:18. “All these kinds of preaching is not in the Bible,” did I take it from literature book? You know why I am telling you? It is because some religious people will deceive you; anybody who says so his hands are not clean, they have other gods. Church Gist. If you have the only God you will not watch somebody mess you up.
Jesus: Mark 11:19-21
Holy Spirit: Acts 13:8-11. When Paul cursed the Elymas he was filled with the Holy Spirit. So who did it? Ananias and Sapphira fell in Acts 5. Church Gist. Who did it? So the 3 of them they cursed. So who will you look like? And you know what the Bible said in Ephesians 5:1 (AMP). If you don’t follow God’s way of cursing, you’re not a child of God.
WHY IS VENGEANCE NECESSARY?
1) For our total liberty: In Exodus 12:12, 29-30, 40-41. Some of you have been born again for years, nothing to show. If they don’t give you food you won’t even eat. Is that Christianity? Church Gist. Poverty has followed your family and you’re laughing saying it’s PDP and APC. They’re not the real people; the real problem is the devil though he passed through human agents. Stop looking at government, look at the source where the thing is coming from and stop it from there, then stop all his agents.
2) For our all round comfort: Isaiah 61:2-3. After vengeance comes comfort. You see the children of Israel after vengeance they entered into their season of comfort and rest. Church Gist. Say from today, life will be comfortable. Holy Spirit you are the Spirit of comfort, today judge everything giving me discomfort. John 16:7-11. The Holy Spirit judges evil.
3) For our supernatural breakthroughs: Isaiah 61:4-6. Church Gist. After vengeance you see breakthroughs.
- After today you will employ foreigners to work for you
Please don’t ever limit God because some people use their elementary sense to calculate the things of God. Church Gist. The moment you do that you short circuit the power of God. When God told Israel you shall find favour, some people would have asked we are slaves to these people how do we find favour? Church Gist. But God transferred the entire wealth of Egypt in one night. Me I believe God; I don’t doubt when God speaks. I used to talk that we will get properties all over the world by favour. Church Gist. I didn’t say we will save, I believed God because he said they got not the land by their own strength.
If you see Word of God don’t doubt it. Don’t ever analyze the BIBLE or you will be paralyzed. Once you do that you stop God. Church Gist. How God will do it is not your business. You’re too small to begin to question how God will do it. Your own is to believe it and leave it for Him.
Today foreigners are working for us hope you know. We pay foreigners to work for us and they say, ‘please can you give me the job?’ From Italy, from Spain, from America; we are the ones who used to struggle like that. Church Gist. We pay them in dollars, we have the money. They say, ‘please can I be the one? My company is qualified.’ We say, ‘No, you are not qualified.’ Never doubt God.
- Before this year is over foreigners will work for you
Isaiah 61:6 (AMP). Isaiah 61:7. After vengeance all these benefits begin to flow.
WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE TO BE USED
We are going to use 2 weapons for today
1) Prayer: Isaiah 63:4, Psalm 94:1. You’re going to call on the God of vengeance to show up so the wicked can give up. Church Gist. The first person you address is the devil and his gods. Before we come to the human agents you have to address the forces. Revelation 12:11, Zechariah 9:11-12, Deuteronomy 32:35,41. Nahum 1:2
2) Praise: Psalm 149:3-6, 2 Samuel 6:14
