THE LEAST BELIEVER WHO OPERATES BY THE WORD OF GOD WILL BE A WONDER TO HIS WORLD.

Heavenly Father thank you, take all the praise. We are all here at your feet waiting to hear from you, let no one return without a touch of your hand, without light striking from heaven. Let everyone leave here tonight knowing what next to do to go forward in the journey of life.
We have been looking at UNVEILING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SUCCESS. If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? You can renovate any part of the building but not the foundation. When the foundation is faulty, the building comes down. We must therefore mind the foundation to everything we are trying to connect with from the provisions of redemption. Psalm 11:3.
I have told the story quite a few times, we were at the Federal Housing Project in Kaduna, it is called Banawa Estate and suddenly all buildings began to show cracks on their walls, they went and did research on the foundation and they saw it was faulty. Church Gist. The government had to clear everybody off those facilities to avoid death because the foundation cannot be repaired. We need to be conversant with the foundation of every provision of scriptures or we can’t get at it. We started this exploration last Wednesday.
Today we will be looking at the WISDOM FACTOR. Let us first appreciate the fact that wisdom is what defines the limit of everyone’s success in life. Wisdom – the know-how. A mechanic who knows his job attracts a lot of clients naturally. A lawyer who knows his job attracts a lot of clients naturally. It is a vital aspect of accessing our success heritage in Christ. Proverbs 4:7-9. Wisdom is a major course, it is not an elective, you can’t move without passing it. Church Gist. You can’t be in Mechanical Engineering and fail Machine Design and expect to graduate. No! You may fail Accounting because that’s not your core but you can’t afford the luxury of failing Machine Design you won’t graduate forever. It is vital for us to place the right premium on the place of wisdom.
To avoid confusion, there are four kinds of wisdom recorded in scripture. One is superior to the others. James 3:15. Earthly wisdom is common sense. James 3:15-17. A small baby wants to wee-wee he doesn’t open his mouth; common sense tells him that it doesn’t come out from the mouth. He grabs the feeding bottle and straight to the mouth, not to the ear, common sense. Just like intellectual sense is superior to common sense, the diabolical sense is superior to intellectual sense. Some evil men can just make incantations and your brain will turn upside down. That is the supremacy of diabolical sense over intellectual sense. Somebody was brought to me a while back, PhD from Harvard but upside-down brain. Diabolical sense does not know Harvard, does not know Cambridge when it attacks you and you have no spiritual resistance you are down. Then we have the wisdom from above. The wisdom from above is pure, it is peaceable, you are at peace and you are not cutting corners. So there is natural wisdom, intellectual wisdom, diabolical wisdom and divine wisdom from above. John 3:31. When we saw that wisdom from above at work in Joseph, it was not in the class of intellectual or diabolical wisdom. When Daniel came down with that wisdom, He was head of the Chaldeans and the native doctors. They called him Master, this wisdom makes you a master. You can’t catch it, it’s from above. It is accessible to only children of God because the child of a goat has the wisdom of a goat, it can’t have the wisdom of a man. Church Gist. No matter how much you love your pet, it can’t watch Network News for you and give you a summary. It’s limited, its nature limits it. When you become a child of God, you carry God’s DNA. We are not at the same level forever with unbelievers, just that we don’t know it. Operating by that wisdom puts you above, naturally, sweatlessly, continuously and forever. When that wisdom showed up Nebuchadnezzar the wicked king bowed down and worshipped Daniel. Daniel told him his dream, line by line. Daniel said there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets. When the man Job came down with that wisdom he became the biggest businessman of his days. What is happening in this place, no research center on earth can unravel it. Do you want to research a system of running a Church that has never borrowed, has no debt, no overdraft, no playing games? You better wake up. Stop operating at level 2 of wisdom. Intellectual wisdom is level 2. You don’t graduate at 200 level. Diabolical wisdom – 300, wisdom from above – no limit.
Let me tell you the simple secret. What research on psychology will you do to unravel somebody’s dream that he dreamt on his bed? Even your wife who slept with you on the same bed, can she unravel your dream? There is a God in heaven. The superiority of the wisdom from above over intellectual wisdom is far above like the north from the east. Genesis 41:15-16. Joseph’s wisdom so baffled them, it so humbled them that they made him take over their nation. Church Gist. Wisdom from above will put you above all. The secret of God gave Job his prime place in business. That is without prejudice to the things they teach at their levels. But when you access God’s secret, you are not in the same class. We need to develop our intellectual capacity but we don’t compare it with this. They are not in the same class. We must not toil with the foundation of wisdom in our quest to command outstanding success in the race of life. Watch this factor in the life of Christ our perfect example:
Luke 2:40, 46-47, 52
That’s how His journey began. This is the foundation of the explosive, generationally impactful ministry of Christ. They found Him in the temple asking questions and the doctors of the law were astonished by His understanding at the age of 12. That’s how fundamental wisdom is in commanding generational impact. The wisdom from above will distinguish children.
Daniel 1:20-21
Ten times better is the least that can happen when you connect with divine wisdom in engaging any given task. Matthew 11:11. We are greater than 10 times better. 10× better, not struggling with unbelievers like we are on the same level. 1 Peter 2:9. All we are trying to do is to show you how much you carry inside of you that you may not know. Jesus dwells inside of you, so you have inside of you a fountain of wisdom. Christ in you is the guarantee of a glorious life (Colossians 1:27).
Job 28:7-28
That wisdom levels problems like they never existed. It gives impossible results from unexpected circumstances. It gives unusual discoveries. There is a kind of wisdom that makes you look like you are not of this world. It is not found in the land of the living, there is no point going around looking for it, it can not be found in the land of the living. It is not in the philosophers, it is not with the rich, no matter how much money you amass, it is not equal to wealth. Church Gist. There are many stupid wealthy people who are owing more than they own. Your net worth is 1 billion and you are owing 10 billion. That is -9 billion, is that wisdom? And you will be doing big boy around town but the banks know you are a small boy. The day they die, they may sell their wife. Wisdom gives peace so when you say you are at peace they don’t believe you because of the pressure they are under from living above their means, buying a big car on loan. Is that life? People just do some funny things in the name of trying to be big. Such people are not in this Church.
When I am going to heaven at my old age, if Jesus tarries, there will be a curse on anyone who borrows on behalf of this Church until Jesus returns. You don’t have to if we got to where we are without borrowing. How dare you, where did you get it from? I am not owing any man living or dead, I am going to heaven smiling. I have not cheated anyone. Wisdom is not available in the knowledge market. Church Gist. It is like going to Ile-Epo Market looking for aircraft to buy. It’s not available. You will walk around till day break; it’s not found there, stop wasting energy. Anything you can get in this world is not in the class of divine wisdom. Did you see the wisdom at work for the three boys thrown into the furnace? They saw a fourth person. He is not the fourth person; He is the first person. If He got there one second later. He won’t meet them; they would have been burned to ashes. Have you ever heard me say one billion demons cannot ask me where are you going to? because I am conscious of the first person. God is the only source of wisdom. Wisdom from above has its source only in God.
What are the tangibles that we expect from this kind of wisdom?
- It creates solutions, overturns the mountains by the road. Job 28:9
- It engenders access to supernatural discoveries. Job 28:10
- It is out of this world order of wisdom. Job 28:13
- It is not available on the knowledge market (v. 15-20)
- It engenders supernatural exploits, it causes exclamations. Its impact is undeniable. Matthew 13:54, Mark 6:2. It is not the wisdom of mighty words where people are clapping “oh yeah, fire down”. It is the wisdom of mighty works. Psalm 104:24. Job 29:4-17 we saw why this man became the greatest of all men in the East. Has it ever occurred to you that the first American billionaire in history is the one trading with the secrets of scriptures, John D. Rockefeller? He was a tither from the scratch, not a smart Nigerian boy. Church Gist. He knew how to connect with God and made the most of his life. No certificate under heaven can match access to divine secrets. You can change all the alphabets in the world after your name, it doesn’t matter. FOC, MON, GMI, those are all adjectives of convenience. They don’t equal impact but access to divine secrets on any subject makes you an exclamation mark. There are question marks but there are exclamation marks. Wow! That’s an exclamation. Every single member of this household will become a WOW personality by just following these things that we talked about bit by bit.
This enormous treasure is accessible on two camps:
- The fear of the Lord.
It’s not for Jack and Harry, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 111:10). The fear of the Lord must guide your life to access this treasure from heaven. Joseph said, “how can I do this wicked thing and sin against God”. Despite his predicament, God was still at the center of his life. Church Gist. Daniel also refused to defile themselves with the king’s food. He would rather die than sin against God. You saw how he turned a wonder in Babylon. So it is not that you read the Bible, you can read the Bible ten times, it doesn’t equal wisdom. Access requires the fear of the Lord as a non-negotiable.
Psalm 16:8, 2 Samuel 14:20.
God must not just be an aspect of your life, He must be your focus. The fear of the Lord is our access to this enormous treasure in heaven.
- On Demand.
This wisdom answers to us on demand. James 1:5-7. So ask in faith. When the Lord called me into ministry and I knew I knew nothing about ministry, we went about preaching but I don’t know ministry so I asked Him for wisdom, asking consistently, I was demanding for it tirelessly. Well, the light showed was “study those that are ahead of you, avoid their mistakes, tow their lines of success and you will have no problem”. I studied 39 biographies of vibrant ministries across centuries. I learned a lot, my empty system came alive. You better wake up, they don’t wait for wisdom, they demand for it and He leads you in the way to get it. I read 8 books on marriage before getting married. I have vowed in my little life not to approach anything on common sense, common sense will only get you at best common results. Until I came to discover the secret of a hitch-free marriage, it’s been a few weeks now that we are married, hitch-free. Church Gist. I have not had to take my family matter to any prayer point. When the lockdown came in 2020, I asked the Lord what is the way forward because my own outreaches require that people gather. The Lord showed me those who are in our Outreach Office who are helping to connect with our new converts, the Lord said I should fire them up and put them on the streets. There is no law under heaven that says you can’t talk to somebody else. We tormented the devil, we had 61,000 souls saved that year. By asking, this is one place where we humiliated the devil. No one came here for a meeting and they returned that he had Coro. They came from all over the world and they returned well. It answers on demand.
The Word is the only source of sustenance for wisdom. Thank God for your Chemistry, your Law, your Architecture, your Engineering, this is the only source of sustenance of the flow of wisdom. Luke 11:49. Church Gist. This is God’s wisdom bank; this is where you draw when you need supplies. Proverbs 1:5, Psalm 119:97-100. It makes you wiser than your enemies. This is the only known source of sustenance of the wisdom from above that puts you above all. The least believer who operates by this Book will be a wonder to his world. You can mess up the challenge of failure by tapping into the wisdom of God. It can be frustrating if you are by a door and you don’t have the key. When you have the key, there is no pressure.
- You won’t live a keyless life anymore in the name of Jesus.
Check all through Bible history, men that worked in wisdom always excelled. Paul was the wisest of all the Apostles and there was no one in his class. Even the devil said Jesus I know, Paul I know, all the others line up behind. According to wisdom given to our brother Paul, so He gives wisdom. Church Gist. You have no covenant right to be stranded on the earth. Ecclesiastes 5:9. One foreigner made a sarcastic statement, He said “Nigeria is so rich that you can literally pick naira on the streets, but Nigerians are so blind that they can’t see it”. - I pray tonight that the eyes of every one of us will be opened to see the beauty of this treasure, place appropriate value on it and begin to flow in it naturally.
Give God thanks for the end has come for frustration in your life.
Nothing creates a great future like the wisdom gleaned from scriptures. You can’t beat it. The wisdom of scriptures creates a great future.
