Jesus, thank you for answered prayers since this Annual Prayer and Fasting began. Thank you for the outbreak of light. Thank you for the supply of strength. Thank you for the renewal of strength. Receive our thanks in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. We are all gathered together, all our eyes are on you. We want to hear from you. Jesus, let your Word in season come through to every one of us today including those online around the world, let the same power flow through.
WHO IS ON THE LORD’S SIDE? That is the teaching series for our Sunday services all through this month. Exodus 32:26. It is important for us to know that God cannot force anyone to come on His side. Matthew 23:37-38. God cannot force anyone to come on His side. Church Gist. It is individual choice that makes it. Jeremiah 6:16-17. He can’t force you but you pay for it. Getting on God’s side is our choice and we have a right not to make it but we pay dearly for it. May God never turn His back on any of us.
While getting on God’s side is our choice, we need grace to remain on that side. We need the choice to be and we get on it, but we need grace to remain on that side. Isaiah 30:1. This is the major problem people have today, they just go anywhere they like. To get on my side takes plenty of discipline. Don’t just wake up in the morning and just carry your bags to Germany, you will jam there. Let God lead you, when He leads you your enemies are totally helpless. Swimming against the tides is a risk, you get drowned with time. God can’t force anyone to get on His side. Isaiah 31:1-3. I am speaking to young men right now, don’t just take off. “I must go, I must run.” Who are you to must? Church Gist. Let God lead you. Back in 1977, the Lord spoke to me from Jeremiah 29:11, “My son, your future is in my plan not in your plan. I was 23 years old, full of plans. I was reading the Revised Standard Version. Everybody’s future is in God’s plan. You go against God’s plan and you start swimming against the tide, you get tired with time.
Following God’s plan has brought me by grace to where I find myself today. I have had untold opportunities to miss it. Remaining on God’s side is a lot of discipline. If I were not on God’s side, we wouldn’t be here. On the side of intellect, we won’t be here. On the side of people’s opinion, we won’t be here. Your future and my future is in God’s plan. Don’t just invest in a business, “God what are you saying?” or that investment may wipe off all your labour in life. There is no poor nation on this earth without rich people in there who are not thieves. Church Gist. There is no rich nation on earth without poor people in it, paupers who die of chilly cold in winter. There is no colour without poor people. Plenty of poor whites, plenty of poor blacks. So it is not about running somewhere, it is about repositioning yourself with God.
What are you saying, Jesus? Being on God’s side. We left 3,000 people in Kaduna to come and start afresh here with 179 people on God’s side. Who is on the Lord’s side? I want to know I am on the Lord’s side. Now, see what 179 has turned into. You better wake up. God can’t force you and me to be on His side. You choose to be and you pray for grace to remain there. It begins with a choice but it is sustained by grace. Church Gist. No one shall miss his step this time. I like you to connect with God during this fasting and prayer period. Lord, I want to remain on your side. I want you to lead the way. I don’t want to get out of my Garden of Eden into the wilderness and He will. Isaiah 48:17, 21. Allow God to lead you, stay on God’s side. It is the flourishing side of life.
No one can curse who God has not cursed and no one can defy who God has not defiled. Numbers 23:8, 20. When you are under God’s blessings you are uncursable. I will bless them that bless you when you remain on my side and curse them that curse you. So Abraham departed, no curse could hang on him. Be rest assured that remaining on God’s side makes you uncursable. On the other hand, no matter how anointed a man, no one can bless whom God has not blessed. No one can curse whom God has not cursed, neither can anyone bless whom God has not blessed. Church Gist. No matter the Papa that lays hands on him, hands can’t break scriptures. Can I lay hands on you to be saved when you will not repent? No! I can’t lay hands on you to be healed when you will not believe. Even Christ couldn’t do it. No one can bless whom God has not blessed. It is God’s blessings that make what we proclaim to answer. Even Melchizedek could not provoke a blessing without Abraham repositioning in the covenant. Genesis 14:22. No one can bless who God has not blessed and no one can curse who God has not cursed. So stop collecting prayers just reposition under His blessings and you are free.
The question therefore is, who does God bless?
1. The Righteous
Psalm 5:12. So whatever defiles, disqualifies for a blessing. Psalm 37:18-19. Isaiah 3:10. To come under His blessings let the fear of God be the guiding, golden rule of our lives. Church Gist. No one can curse whom God has blessed and no one can bless who God has not blessed.
2. The obedient.
God’s blessings always follow believers’ obedience. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. God will bless the obedient. 1 Samuel 15:22. “Do this” and he does it. That is the one God blesses. “This is the way to go” and He gets on there. That is the one God blesses. God’s blessings do not follow the disobedient, no matter who prays over him. Church Gist. Lord, help me, endue me afresh with the Spirit of obedience. Philippians 2:9. We need a heart of flesh that subscribes to every instruction of scriptures with delight. Psalm 112:1-3. The trigger of that is obedience. Great delight in following His commandments brings favour upon you and your generations after you. God’s blessings usually trail man’s obedience.
1. Those who love God in truth and with proof.
Not “I love you” kind of singing, in truth and with proofs. Romans 8:28. All things, not some things! The love of God is not theoretical, it has validation from scriptures. 1 John 3:18. 2 Corinthians 8:8. We must prove the sincerity of our love. If you love Him, you will love His Word. If you love Him, you will love His house. They won’t push you to go to Church. It is a delight, it is like going home from work. Church Gist. If you love God, you will promote His Kingdom. 1 Chronicles 29:3. You can’t be in love with God and not love the affairs of His Kingdom. John 14:21. So, it is not theoretical, if you are in love it will show. There are biblical proofs of being in love with God. It is your turn. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
I have seen a bit of it. I have a genuine heartbeat for God. You can’t love God and not know. The food you love, nobody needs to advertise it to you. You see it and you smile. All your teeth will come out. God knows those who love Him, you too know. I said years ago that you may have read all the books I wrote but until you discover my heartbeat for God you have not found my secret. I love Him more than I love myself and it shows. I have seen a bit of things that eyes have not seen before. I didn’t make it happen. My love for Him made it happen. You better throw yourself loose. God doesn’t need you and me for anything, we need Him for everything. Somebody will get angry but that is the truth, God said “Woe unto him that trusts in man.” Church Gist. Will He now turn around and trust in you? Jeremiah 17:5. Psalm 50:12. If you humble yourself with that, your love for God will be natural. You are not coerced, you are just enjoying it. Stop collecting blessings around town. You should know where to stand to secure His blessings. If you have His blessings, no anointed man can curse a man whom God has blessed. Zechariah 5:4. You can’t remove that scripture. So pray over a demon that he must prosper. You are wasting your mouth because he won’t, he is under a curse. You won’t miss your place on God’s side.
2. Those who serve Him in truth and verity.
Some are serving God for show, it is a no! Job 36:11. Panting after God and the affairs of His kingdom as a lifestyle. Exodus 23:25-26. Serving God brings you under His blessings that make you uncursable by any wicked man. Ephesians 6:6. That is what I mean by verity. Serving God in truth and verity brings you under His blessings that make you uncursable. Irreversible blessings of God. Church Gist. When God blesses you, no devil can reverse it. May this year be one strange year in everyone’s life where you will taste the reality of the blessedness of serving God. You are not telling stories, you are seeing it. There is not one servant of God in scriptures who did not live under a blessing. Every single destiny of those serving God was clothed with blessings. He is a covenant-keeping God. Psalm 34:8.
Vision 2024 is out but does it move you? God has a plan to double the size of every local assembly in this Commission before the first half of this year, the question is what position are you taking there? We are now in prayer and fasting time. Do you have your designed targets? How many souls are you trusting God for? Won’t you take them to God in prayer right now, in the season of prayer and fasting where God answers prayers speedily? I told my wife a few days ago, look, I want to complete my target by March. So I can spend the remaining time nurturing them and watching them grow. It is your heart. I have been doing that since 1976, ask her. Nothing at home has ever deterred me from doing what I am sent to do. “… They shall spend their days in prosperity…” I have never begged, I give God glory for it. I have never visited any member of this Church since inception, can you please help me? Church Gist. Your Church never paid our children’s school fees once! How will I dare that? To take God’s money and be paying our children’s school fees. Did He give birth to them? I have not taken a dime from books since 1985. You can only imagine how much we sell yet I have not been tempted, I am under a covenant to see people blessed by the Word. So there is no cutting corner here. You know why Papa is saying all that, they sell a lot of books. Ask God whether one dime of his book has crossed into my hand before. I am blessed, you cannot be serving God in truth and not be blessed.
Numbers 23:20. God’s blessings are irreversible, it is the kind of blessings you are coming under this year. You are coming under such blessings right now. Numbers 23:23. No gang up of hell can stop you from being blessed. Ask the devil, if he needs to stop anybody from being blessed who will he stop? It is me. Can darkness stop light? Can a lion stop fire? Never! You say fire doesn’t matter and you walk into it, you fry. Church Gist. Your beards will catch fire first. Get on fire for God, you silence all the lions of hell. Get on fire for Jesus. No wicked man dares me and survives. That goes for every one of you too. Psalm 105:15. Every molestation ends in your life. Matthew 6:33. This is that year in your life.
3. The Faithful
Proverbs 28:20. Luke 19:17-19. Luke 16:11. God’s blessings are upon the faithful, not the hypocrites. Matthew 23:13-16. God does not bless hypocrisy, He blesses faithfulness. Church Gist. You are working in a company and you are playing games, you are destroying your future. You better stop playing games. Be faithful where you are, you are creating a future for yourself.
6. Tithers
Malachi. 3:10. Tithers bring themselves under heaven’s blessings. Beyond what they can contain. It is not part of the law that Christ redeemed us from, it existed before the law. Abraham paid the tithe of all and came under a proclaimed blessing. Genesis 14:18-20. Matthew 23:23. Hebrews 7:8. Christ is the one receiving the tithe from us. Hebrews 7:1-8. He has the key of David that opens and no man can shut, so he opens the windows of heaven over your life. I knew when God opened the windows of heaven over this Church. It was no guesswork. I knew when that switch came on. I knew when the heavens opened over this Church. It was like fire, the Word came like fire to me. Who needs the tithe of your company that you are now hiding? Church Gist. You want to be free from dry seasons like we are free. This Church is free oh. If you like, stop paying your tithe. This Church is permanently free, I said we have never borrowed, not that we stopped borrowing. You know when you came, if we were borrowing before you came we would be paying debt up till now. Do you know something?
-The days of borrowing are over in your life. Just bring yourself under His blessings.
-This shall be your Isaac order of year.
– Like a dream of the night, opposition against your life will turn into celebrations.
-Your enemies will join you to celebrate your triumph.
They opposed and resisted Isaac but a year came, Heavens opened for Isaac and Isaac became the envy of his enemies. He became stronger than the nation. There are men and women here who will be stronger than their nations. Church Gist. Sir, you can’t be under His blessings and be cursed by any devil, not even anointed men. Balaam was heavily anointed but he couldn’t dare it. He will open his mouth and God will turn it into blessings.
2. The liberal soul.
Proverbs 11:24-25. We have flagged off Kingdom Care Covenant Prophetic Agenda, that every member should identify those in need among them and to the level of grace in your life, be part of putting smiles on their faces, food on their table, clothes on their body, children going to school. Be part of it. These are covenant factors that enhance our access to Fortune. Many lived in our home that we don’t know where they came from. They got married from there. My wife was telling me that somebody lived in our house and I told her, I can’t remember again. You better open your heart. Fortune answers to liberality. Be part of the joy of others. I have senior academics today in Covenant who were on my scholarship when they were undergraduates. Were we building a university? No! I was just joyfully a part of their lives at our level. Church Gist. God is coming down to bring you under this fortune if you choose to. Let nobody pass through this year without somebody to help, somebody to put smiles on their faces. Somebody to get food on their table. Make it a part of your life, draw a budget that defines how much God will help you to do. Luke 6:38. Proverbs 28:27. It terminates lack. You look at the needy and you are not just feeling for them, you take steps to alleviate their suffering. So open your eyes, see those needy folks in your Zonal Fellowship Centre, in your home cell, very shortly in the town where you live. Next in the nation where you live. That will be your portion. That was the mystery that brought the man Job into fortune. He was eyes to the blind, he was feet to the lame, the course he knew not, he searched out. He rescued the poor from one who was stronger than him. He became the greatest businessman of his time.
There are two sides to our adventure in the Kingdom: The side of blessings and the side of curses. Deuteronomy 30:19. They are all in the same book. Blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) and Curses (verses 15 to 66), too numerous. Deuteronomy 30:19. Two sides! We have the side of flourishing and the side of famine. We saw Joseph who said, “But I fear God!”. He flourished as a slave, flourished as a prisoner and flourished his way into the palace. For 80 years, the fear of God kept him on the flourishing side of life. Church Gist. Psalm 33:18-19. The flourishing side of life triggered by the fear of God as a lifestyle. Blessings triggered by man’s obedience. Deuteronomy 28:1. The side of enlargement and diminishing. Malachi 3:17-18. Malachi 4:1-2.
-You will not diminish.
-Your household will not diminish.
-No matter how many businesses collapse, your own will be separated.
-They will be selling and you will be buying.
Two sides: the side of meekness, the side of pride. While the meek shall inherit the earth, the proud will suffer destruction. The side of glory and the side of shame. You give glory to God and He preserves your blessings, You steal His glory and you lose it. Malachi 2:1-3. The side of everlasting life and the side of eternal death. You choose Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you are on the side of everlasting life. You reject Him, you are on the other side. Our choice is what determines our lot in life. Even salvation is a choice. The quality of life of a believer is a choice. Flourishing in hard times is a choice, serving God which is the gateway to a world of fortune is a choice. Church Gist. Joshua 24:15. Spirituality is a choice. 2 Timothy 2:21. It is a choice. No one can be on two sides at the same time, make your choice. 1 Kings 18:21. Matthew 6:24. It is time to make your choice. You can’t be on the side of obedience and disobedience at the same time, make your choice. You cannot be spiritual and carnal at the same time, make your choice. You cannot be a giver and a withholder at the same time, make your choice. God’s side is the ever-winning side of life, the laughter side of life. You won’t miss your place there.
Because God is light, being on His side dispels all the works of the powers of darkness without sweat. You can’t be on the side of light and be harassed by darkness. Light shines in darkness and darkness cannot handle it. Being on God’s side is being on the side of light that sets free from the harassment of the powers of darkness. Moses, the most renowned prophet of all times remained on God’s side and began to manifest as a god in the likeness of men. Exodus 7:1. Church Gist. This will be the order of the day in the end time. You will appear in a place and demons will be screaming because they can’t stand the brightness of light that envelops you. Nehemiah, a cupbearer turned governor by getting on God’s side and staying there. You know the story.
So in summary, How do I remain on God’s side?
1. Stay in love and keep your love for God growing.
Ephesians 3:17-19. God’s love has length, breadth, height and depth. So as we keep growing in love, we keep manifesting divine nature naturally until we are filled with all the fullness of divine nature that makes you and I impossible for the enemy to toy with. Church Gist. Stay in love and keep growing in your love for God. He is moving us to a realm where we are filled with all the fullness of God.
2. Beware of the plague of disobedience.
Saul lost out after 40 years. 1 Samuel 15:22-23. Acts 13:21. Forty years of obedience and one day of disobedience disconnected him. Church Gist. Obedience has no lifespan, it is a lifelong requirement. May we all receive grace to follow through, obeying God with delight all the days of our lives.
3. Beware of sexual perversion.
Devastating! We saw how Samson lost out after 20 years of ruling Israel. Delilah brought him down and turned him into a toy. Judges 15:20. People don’t know that side of this man called Samson. He was reduced to a toy in the hands of the people that subdued him. Judges 16:15 to the end, we saw the crash of Samson to sexual pervasion. Solomon prayed the glory down and suddenly Solomon switched over and loved many strange women. 1 Kings 11:1. Solomon lost his brain, he was the wisest man, he became the dullest man. He lost his brain. Because you must have lost something and you are not mad to have 1000 women. A record never to be broken. Church Gist. Proverbs 6:26. Inanimate! Has no brain! Piece of bread! Bread can’t think. If Samson could think, someone said they were going to attack you and they came, you overcame. The second time, they came and the third time, they came again and he didn’t think. Three times! At that time his brain was gone completely. It is your turn. The good news is that everybody has escaped. Can I have you say, I have escaped, I shall remain on God’s side by His grace all the days of my life, so help me Jesus.
Righteousness consciousness, an undying crave for sanctification and continuous exercise unto godliness are fundamental requirements for remaining on God’s side and making it to heaven at the end of the day. Church Gist. He has made us righteous by His death, we are to take responsibility to secure that righteousness in practice. It is our turn. May no one here miss his place.
The dangers of getting off God’s side are numerous:
1. It blocks access to wisdom that enthrones.
We are redeemed as kings and priests, many never taste royalty because they got off God’s side.
2. It causes faith to fail.
Faith will not work beyond our level of conscience. Faith works by conscience. Church Gist. Many make a shipwreck of their faith for lack of conscience. 1 Timothy 1:19.
3. It inflicts diseases.
As we saw in the case of King Asa, he got off God’s side and sickness took over. John 5:14. You find testimonies today and trials tomorrow. Just check yourself and get back on course. There is no sin God cannot forgive but He will not forgive anyone without repentance. Don’t judge anyone by his yesterdays. He may have turned without your knowledge. Turn today, it is between you and God. Choose to turn today. The offence is between you and God, so the forgiveness is between you and God. It is godly sorrow that works repentance. Not smiling and saying you are sorry. You don’t smile and be sorry at the same time. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 7:10. Godly sorrow provokes repentance that is acceptable to God and brings us unto salvation. You can just tell Jesus, I don’t want to be doing myself like this. If they say how many want to go to heaven everybody will raise their hand, do you know how to get there? 1 Corinthians 6:9. It is not a raising of hand. Come on the righteous side of God to make it. Today in this Anointing Service, God will endue each of us with the spirit of obedience. It is the answer to all that we have said. When that spirit comes on you, obeying God becomes a delight and It is equal to love that keeps opening doors to you. Ezekiel 36:26-27. Do it to me Jesus. That is what I call the Spirit of obedience. It is coming on each one of us today.
– Every spiritual laxity must give way.
– Every nonchalance to God and His Word must stop today.
– A new you emerges from this fasting season.
– God will turn each of us into a wonder this year.
– Like a dream of the night, you will escape the prison into the palace. Church Gist.
– Like a dream of the night, the opposition around your life will be turned into celebration.
Today is our Special Anointing Service and as mentioned earlier, something new is coming on you today. Church Gist. As Saul returned from Samuel, God gave him another heart. 1 Samuel 10:6-9. He was turned into another man in one day.
– You are returning from this service with another heart.
– Someone is returning home today another man, another woman.
– You will become a surprise to yourself.
We know that every Kingdom agenda delivers on covenant. Fortune 2024 is the divine agenda for the year for the Winners Family and there are things we must do to position ourselves for it as enumerated in the teaching today. Church Gist. Everything you desire, if you get it right spiritually they will come to pass without sweat.
– Grace to get it right spiritually is coming upon you today.
Romans 8:13
– By the anointing today, the works of the flesh shall be mortified in our life.
– Ungodly thoughts shall be destroyed in our lives.
– Ungodly words and steps shall be destroyed in our lives.
You have tried before and it is not working, engage today the Spirit of God. It is one Spirit. That one Spirit is the Spirit of holiness, the fear of God, servanthood etc. Church Gist. That one Spirit carries all these multifaceted virtues within it. Today, as you open your heart, every work of the flesh you hate to see shall be destroyed. Romans 8:13.
– Everything trying to destroy you goes down for you today.
– Serving God will remain a delight for you, for life. No giving up
– Expect instant healing today because everybody serving God is entitled to healthy living. Exodus 23:25.
——– Anointing Ministration ——–
By a clear mandate from heaven, from next Sunday, January 21st, by heaven’s instruction as clear as crystal, the fourth service will now be a Special Healing Miracle Service. It is going to be a healing miracle crusade. It will not follow the Church’s regular program. It is not following the teaching content of the month. The sick in the hospitals or in their homes will be jumping up. I heard a word from the Lord “Freely you have received, freely give. You can’t keep my virtue indoors when they are crying for the need of it.” We will be hearing testimonies from around the world at the same time. Church Gist. So we have three main services and one healing miracle service. For those with healing needs, Jesus still heals all manner of sickness and all manner of disease today. No one here will die of sickness
Also many have come from around the world to receive the healing touch of Christ but no opportunity. Some spent days, others weeks. No! It is a global mandate. “The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the Word of Faith and I am sending you to undertake this task.” So we are in pursuit of that mandate. I’m the precious name of Jesus, this will be the most healthy year in this Commission. Every believer around the world who hooks on to it will get the flow easily, nobody will be left out. Church Gist. We have seen sickness healed across the oceans. Someone got free from full-blown blood cancer in the U.S. from this altar. Someone else was set free from bone marrow cancer in India. There is no language, where their voice is not heard. As the Word goes forth from here, it goes to deliver healing across the nations of the world. Connect anyone who may be on their sick bed to the transmission. Anyone that cannot move, let him hear the Word. His Word runs swiftly, it will get across to them wherever they are. This year we are not burying anyone for sickness.
Can I tell you this? This is not a Breakthrough Meeting, this is a Healing Meeting. The Breakthrough we do it every service. All our teachings are breakthrough teachings but healing, we do it only one month in a year. That means you will be sick till the following year. No! Every Sunday from henceforth. When we start five services, the fourth service will still be healing service. When we start six services, it will still be healing service, till Jesus comes. Whatever is not preached God cannot confirm. Church Gist. So we are to settle down and take our healing heritage from God for free. He already paid, we can’t be paying twice for it. The end has come. Every curse of sickness and disease must give way finally in your life, in your family, over your children, your grandchildren in the name of Jesus.
– Be blessed.
– Receive renewal of strength.
– Your spiritual breakthrough will be evident to all around you.
