Tell yourself I’m glad I’m in this anointing service, the anointing service that will help me end the year well.
Welcome to the month of Triumphant Entry. That’s what God declared our December 2022 to be, the month of Triumphant Entry.
Two things will happen: You will triumph this month and you will enter 2023 triumphantly. Church Gist.
That’s why we call it Triumphant Entry. That is you won’t enter next year sick. You won’t enter next year beaten, battered and broken, depressed. You won’t enter next year poor, you will enter next year triumphantly.
And this month by the weapon of Praise and Thanksgiving, the weapon of Worship, the weapon of Gratitude, the weapon of Prayer, the weapon of Prophetic push, you will enter triumphantly. Amen and amen.

You will win that war! People are worrying about several things but you will win that war.

People who don’t pray about everything are those who worry about everything. Church Gist.
It’s a simple command. Many of us worry about too many things. Tell God what you need and thank Him for the things He has done. Tell Him what you need and thank Him for what He has done. Church Gist.
We always quote it everywhere, Be anxious for nothing. That’s what anxious looks like, don’t worry about anything. Matthew 6:34.
It says don’t worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow is coming with its own worry. It is Worry against Worry. Tomorrow already has some worry waiting to worry this your worry you’re worrying today. Church Gist. It says tomorrow will bring its own worry. Today’s trouble is enough.
You see why it’s good to have different versions of the Bible. No be this your King James all the time. King James demon is already used to your matter. E say we understand am.
Bible sweet? So go and get different versions. A songwriter said, Don’t worry, be happy. Church Gist. How many of you know that song? That should be the late Bobby (Bob Marley). There are too many things to worry about, but dont worry be happy. Things may not be the way you want them to be, Don’t worry, be happy.
There is a lyric I love in that particular song: There will always be trouble but if you worry, you will double your trouble.
So you already have enough trouble, don’t worry about your trouble because if you do, you will double it. Worry will double your trouble. Church Gist. From the two Scriptures we have just read, any person who is given to worry has his or herself to blame. Because it’s a command. King James put it this way in Matthew 6:34, Take no thought… Of tomorrow. That high blood pressure that is not in your family, not in your lineage…sometimes I ask some people, Does your mother have it? Does your father have it? No, I am the first to have it.
You’re the first to worry about everything. As complicated as your mother’s life is, your uncle and everyone, they still lived long. At 60,no high blood pressure. At 70, no high blood pressure. Your own at 30, you’re getting it. Church Gist.
It says, Take no thought for tomorrow. Sufficient for today is the evil thereof. Therefore take no thought for tomorrow. Tomorrow can take thought of itself. Church Gist. The thinking you’re thinking, tomorrow should think it not today.
To think Monday’s problem on Sunday is to attract Monday’s demon on Sunday. And you don’t have the capacity on Monday to handle that problem so leave it when you get there, God will sort it out. There will always be trouble but it said if you worry, you will double the trouble. Winning the war over worry! Winning the war against worry! Winning the war over all forms of worry that you have.
Now the body of the message – 12 practical ways to win the war against worry.
This is not just a church sermon; this is a generational sermon, this is a seasonal sermon. A dispensational sermon. This is a medical sermon. This is an emotional sermon. This is a sermon that is medicinal. This is a sermon that is ordained to keep you spirit, soul and body. Not to follow the prescription is to continue with the problem. Not to follow the prescription is to continue with your situation.
God took me to the spirit realm and I saw that most of us are worrying about so many things. I have never been disappointed by God once. Church Gist. If you see Him, ask Him. Outside Him, there is no other God. Before Him, there is no other God. After Him, there is no other God. Before Him, after Him, beside Him, there is no other God. There is no option that we have.
-I pray for you this morning, the demon of worry dies. Everything that is making you to be anxious, to live in worry, to live in depression, may God give you a testimony that will replace that your mood.
I prayed a prayer for them in Akwa Ibom yesterday night, in yesterday all-night; Thursday was ministers conference in the morning, Friday was Shekinah night for Reverend Ubong Umoh. I prayed a prayer, I said, the kind of alerts that will change your mood before this all-night is over, may God give it to you.
And then somebody met me and said, Papa, God has confirmed your word. God confirmed it, God confirmed it. Church Gist. He said what I’ve been asking for months, the thing came, God confirmed your words.
I’m going to pray it again. I always beg God – Don’t give me anointing that only work outside. Give me anointing that work at home. That’s my prayer. I don’t want to be a pastor that is effective outside his house. I want the real testimony to be at home.
-Now stretch your hands. The good news, the story, the information, the alert that will change your mood for good, may it come this week you are entering! In the name of God the Father, who is the Son and the Holy Ghost.
So 12 ways to practically overcome your worries.
1: Take your worries to God in prayers and leave it there. Where is Mama Flourish? Mummy Flourish went with me to the burial service of Elder Margaret. I loved that my elder. I did the preaching. She did the blessing of the family. And when she took their hand, oh my God, it was prophetic. For me to say a member touched my soul. I took the meeting to level 8,the member took it to level 15. I could see myself climbing with her as she was going. I may have a better diction, a better utterance, a stronger anointing but her experience covered everything I said. She said, Put your hand here. Where I am, I was saying Am I under you or are you under me? You know that her commanding tone? But I said, let her flow. Sometimes it’s good to let people flow. Church Gist. Now, as your hand is on my hand: As I landed on this earth, the day I came, my mother died. The day they gave birth to me, my mother died. What has kept me for close to 60 years is the grace I want to give you.
My mama never die, I can’t pray that prayer, I’m not qualified. Some of you want the mantle you don’t have the matter to explain. You want the grace but you are running from the matter. Anywhere you see mantle, somebody survived matters!
If na you, the day your mama born you she die, you for nor even be Christian. Anywhere they want to say Come and serve God, you will say Where was God when she died? Come and be born again, Where was God when she died?
I’ve pastored her for years, I never knew she survived that kind of experience.
She said, As I landed, I was crying. I was crying the cry of a newborn. Yet my cry also provoked the cry of everyone around me, the cry of burial, the cry of funeral. But how I survived till this age, only God can explain. Only grace can explain. Only mercy can explain. Your own you are even privileged, you are at this age when your mother passed on. I hold your hands, what God has ordained for you to be, because they couldn’t stop me, they cannot stop you!
The atmosphere in the funeral service changed. And she sang her song in her own way, scattered, disjointed but we could pick the rhema. Church Gist. When you put the revelation in the song, leave it there. Take your problem to the cross and leave it there. She was singing it.
Leave it there! Take everything. Your worries, your situation, your challenges, take it to God and leave it there.
Most of you take it to the cross, when you are coming back from the cross, you still put it in your pocket and carry it from there. Church Gist. That is why you still complain when you finish prayer.
You’ve finished prayer, then the first call you got is: How is everything? You say everything is bad. Something you just kept there, you collected it. You finished prayer and they call you, your voice is not sounding well. Instead of you to tell the person I just came from the place of encounter, I just finished prayer. You say, My voice, my sister of I tell you my problem, you will know that even this voice, I tried the way the voice dey sound.
Somebody just went to the cross, left something on the cross. He come go look for ladder, carry ladder climb the cross, come collect am.
Anytime you pray and you still come back to complain, you actually went, dropped your problem and still went deliberately, consciously took it back with you.
1 Peter 5:7. When you go to prayer, you cast it there. You nail it to the cross and leave it there.
- Decide to live a joyful life!
Joy is a choice. James 1:2. Decide to live a joyful life. Not a happy life, a joyful life. Happiness is regulated by happenings. Happiness is a product of happenings. Joy is of the heart. Joy is in the spirit. That is why you are physically better than most people, yet they are more joyful than you. And you’re wondering, I have cars, I have lands, my business is doing well, why am I always sad? Somebody who doesn’t have all those things is still joyful, you know why? You are trying to be happy by the happenings around you. Happiness is a product of happenings joy is not tied to anything.
I entered the compound of one of my friends, I saw about 7, 8 cars. Expensive cars. The best of Mercedes Benz. The best of Tundra. The best of jeeps. The best of sport cars, convertibles. In his private house. Yet, I came to encourage him, I came to strengthen him because of the way things are going.
Somebody came with Belgium (car) to strengthen America (car). Somebody came as a tenant to strengthen multiple landlords. Church Gist. That would tell you this thing is not tied to things. Things can never guarantee joy.
I looked at him and said, This compound is loaded. What was in your mind when you bought that first one. Let me tell you what was in your mind. In your mind after that first one, you felt you would be happy. I’ve arrived. But when that first one came, what happend to you? You were looking forward to the second one. You got the second, the third, the fourth. Even this your latest, when it was to come, what were you telling yourself? That if it comes, you have arrived.
All these things can’t guarantee joy. Real satisfaction does not come from things, it comes from a heart of gratitude. Things can never satisfy you. Somebody may enter that compound and be depressed. Everywhere you look, machines!
But another person without machine came to strengthen a man with machine.
You know my understanding about life? The day they will lower you in the grave, there will be nothing in this palm. Nothing. When they open it, it will go empty, the keys will not be there, the documents will not be there.
Have you ever imagined the reality of life? Everything you have ever achieved, you achieved it for somebody else. You will only enjoy it to the extent you are alive.
Check that your mothers house, check that your fathers house. Church Gist. They don’t allow anybody near the rent. Are they not sharing it free of charge everywhere? Even in your grave, you want to kick somebody in your grave, the thing shift small, they say the thing caved. E no just cave o, the man wan kick him son wey carry the money go buy suya. How can you take house rent and buy suya? The grave just lowered small. They say cement it, let it be there.
A rich man died as they were burying him, he said Let everybody come. The richest banker? Bring him. The best medical doctor? Bring him. The best of financial institution? Bring him. Bring the person who sells the highest quality of gold. Come and attend my funeral.
They said, sir what are you trying to achieve? I want everyone to know that I have the best of gold, but couldn’t save me. The best of doctors treated me, but couldn’t save me. The bank that you think is very strong, that your money is safe, I have all the billions there, but the money couldn’t save me.
When you lower me to the grave, create an opening in my casket, let my hand show. What’s the essence of your hand showing? I want the world to know I came with you nothing and I left with nothing.
It is this understanding that makes us not to do certain things. Church Gist.
So desire to live a joyful life. That person you envy, everybody will die empty. The day you will go, they won’t put anything inside you.
- Don’t focus on tomorrow’s problems and challenges. Never focus on tomorrow’s problems and challenges. Matthew 6:34. Don’t.
- I pray for somebody hearing me, when you get to tomorrow, God must have been waiting for you to decorate your life and beautify your life.
- Live a humble and submissive life.
James 1:9-11.
Humble and submissive life. Never worry about yourself. Never worry about what other people are doing. The reason why you live in worry and anxiety is arrogance and pride.
I can always connect anxiety to arrogance. There is a connectivity between pride and worry. Arrogance and anxiety. Live a humble life. Be humble.
When you are humble and submissive, you don’t struggle with God’s process with you. With God’s dealings with you. Be humble and be submissive. - Make a list of the things God has done for you and a list of the things you are worrying about. You will be surprised that you have no need to worry. 2 Kings 6:16. In other words, the things I should be grateful for are more than the things I should be worried about.
I Pastore a member who was depressed with the way her marriage was. Her friends used to mock her, that her husband is very short. Maybe the shortest person in this church is taller than her husband and that thing was getting her depressed. Dem force you marry am?
And then I said to her, Do a list of the things you love about your husband. In my office, I took a paper and drew a line and gave it to her.
Under the things she doesn’t like, she put number 1, his height. Then number 2,she started thinking. Church Gist. As she was thinking, number 2 was not forthcoming. Before she manufactured something that is not there,o asked her to begin to write the things she likes about him. She started, my husband is caring, my husband provides for me, my husband sometimes helps me to cook. Sometimes he helps me to wash plates. Sometimes, do this, sometimes do that. And then she was writing it, sometimes helps me to iron my clothes. Sometimes helps me to carry children. At this point, I said Stop. Your husband should come and counsel me next week. Church Gist. For these reasons, it is me who needs counseling. These things you are telling me your husband does for you, I don’t do it for my wife. He helps you carry pikin? I have never carried pikin. I only get my wife pregnant. Na she go carry am. Go and look for how to carry it.
I’ve never swept house in 19 years. If you come to my house and see me sweeping, won’t you run? You see oracle dey sweep house. Won’t you go and find out what is wrong with me?
I’ve never done that kind of thing. Your husband is doing that?! Go and give God thanks.
And I saw her face change. I saw life come.
Most of you have the best, but you’re suffering from the beast of anxiety. Beast of worry. That marriage is still standing today, since 2007 in Bayelsa. Church Gist. Somebody was able to make her see that it’s not about height.
I prefer a short man who will pay my bills, than a tall man that I will feed.
There’s nobody with a perfect life. You must perfect the art of focusing on your strength. And looking away from your weakness. Draw it home to where you are, apart from marriage.
You know why you are not yet married? I woke up one day, I don’t know what woke me up midnight. Church Gist. I said many ladies in this Nigeria would have gotten married but all these useless men… We have too many useless men. 3 out of every 5 men you gather are useless. 4 are wayward. And sometimes God doesn’t want his daughters to fall into the hands of a wayward man. I said, Oh God, raise for us responsible men. Men who are responsible! For every lady you see on the street that is not married, it’s a man that made her to be like that.
When God created this life, Adam and Eve, for every one man, there is one woman. But the enemy has thwarted God’s plan!
That one man is one drunkard. That one man is one homosexual. That one man is one womanizer. That one man is always one irresponsible man. So you can’t tell a woman so because God created one man for you and that one man’s head is not correct so she should wait for him. Church Gist. So the woman is not ready to stay with this man and suffer and she’s saying, God give me the best. Another person’s own too is like this, so short 2. Another person’s own, the man is like this;we now have about 10,15 who are refusing the one God created for them because the man head no correct. And you won’t blame those women.
It is better to marry late, than to marry wrong.
It is better to be late and be right, than to rush and be wrong.
Somebody said that oxygen is ₦4500 per hour. Please go and open a hospital. That profession is lucrative. Anybody that comes, tell them they need oxygen. ₦4500 per hour, multiply it by 24 hours.
Then you that is breathing the way this igbo man is breathing, that one will be ₦6500. Your breathing is too strong. You’re taking in more gas. Then multiply it by week, then one month, then one year! That’s what you have free of charge.
And you that I know, you are in Flat 4. Church Gist. The people staying in Flat 5, your breathing may disturb them. You snore! That is you are breathing 7 people’s breath as one person alone.
Imagine you are to pay for that?

Now look at your neighbor, Say na one thing wey God never do, na im you know. E get many things wey I don code wey my God do for me. I dey suspect you, that’s why I never testify. The things plenty! The things wey my God don do plenty. But I can’t share it all. Because we are in the midst of unfriendly friends. But even as I code am reach, look at me, you can see that God has helped me.
I’m the one God has helped!!!
Say neighbor neighbor, you only know this my weave. That it is now a uniform that I wear to every service. Church Gist.?What you don’t know is that I don’t experience headache, I don’t get sick. I don’t treat malaria or migraine the way all those bone straight weaves dey give them migraine.
You only know one, you don’t know others!
- Deliberately remove your mind from the things God has not done.
Philippians 4:8. This is the thinking syllabus. If you want to think about anything, just bring it under this parameters. These are the thinking parameters of a Covenant child.
Anything that does not fall into this eight indices, eight platforms, I don’t think about it. I’m too matured to think what you want me to think, I think what is good for me to think. Most of you are thinking what others want you to think. Philippians 2:5 - Consciously remove from your mind all agents of worry. Constantly remove from your mind all agents of worry.
One of my daughter said to me that one of her friends said to her, This your church wey you dey go everytime, you mean God of Answers never still answer you?
Anybody who uses church to mock you is a demon. Church Gist.
I said, tell her that the God of Answers did not allow evil friend like you to coms and bury me. For you to say this kind of thing, you don’t wish me well.
The next thing you will hear is follow me to one place, follow me to one side, they’re all devils.
Proverbs 26:20.
One time, I was always demoralized. I was always depressed and downcast. The devil anointed a daughter in this church and gave to me. He anointed a personal daughter and said, your job is to ensure your Papa is always down in this life.
Anytime I see her, “Papa, do you know what they just said about you in that estate roundabout? I don’t know where they are getting this information from, Papa. They said you are a cultist. And the people who said this thing said they can prove it. But as a daughter I have to fight and say it’s not true. Not my Papa.”
As soon as she finished, my strength level that is on level 50, as soon as she’s done, I will be on level 30.
The following week,” Papa, I’m the one watching all your Pastors for you. All your pastors, this is what they said. I won’t tell you the name, because they’re your brothers, you will go and tell them.”
Then she will now put me under law, I will be dying in silence because I cannot ask the pastor.
In a month, she may tell me 4 different things. Church Gist. One day I said, God anytime this person finishes talking, my hope may go. My strength may go. My love for people will die, my courage will die. Meanwhile most times, na her mind she dey come tell me.
Then one day I knelt down, I told God,whether it’s the truth or a lie, from today, agent of gossip, agent of worry, agent of slander,agent of bad news, agent of you will tell me what people say, put me in a position to not ask, father deliver me. Father I don’t want it.
Then I noticed from the time God delivered me from that person’s hand till this moment, I am loving the unlovable. I am relating with every person. Because the person that will kill your spirit with information is no longer there. That your best friend, is not your best friend. As long as after he/she finish talking you are down. After he finishes talking, you will hate your Pastor, you will hate your church, your fellow members, fellow Christian. They are not your friends, cut them off. They’re making you to live in worry! Consciously remove from your life all agents of worries constantly. Remove them!
-Put your hand on your head, Every person that is in your life that every time he talks, your spirit will just die, may you be free from that person. That person is not helping you! May you be free from that person!
- Have a God given counselor that is anointed to talk you out of worry.
Proverbs 11:14. Isaiah 50:4-5.
I have a pastor, anytime he runs into depression, I am the one he will call. He will call me, My brother please talk to me. I am going through stress, I’m thinking of running out of town.
Sometimes, he shares with me a problem that is smaller than mine. I will counsel him and give him hope. You know why? Some of us are anointed counselors.
Whenever you are weary, tired, demoralized, downcast, depressed, there is somebody anointed to talk you out. Church Gist. I have that ministry. After I finish talking to that my friend, the next thing you see him at the airport. After I finished talking with him, my energy just came.
Most of you are listening to people who are listening to the devil.
So every time they talk to you, it’s what the devil tells them that they come and tell you. Kill him, commit suicide, take that step, run from the country, things are tough. No pastor is genuine, don’t go to church again. Church Gist. Leave this Pastors and their church.
There is still one remnant. In the days of Elijah, all the people backslid. And Elijah said, I’m the only one, I’m the one alone who is serving you. God said No, Elijah, there are 7,000 men who have not bowed.
When Somebody tells you this, your hope for church, your hope for Pastors, your hope for Christianity will be restored.
But when you have a bad counselor – Una never hear, una own na just woman he dey look when e dey waka. Church Gist. The one wey dey Benin, the one wey dey Asaba, im rape person wife!
Your spirit that is on level 20, that cannot even sustain you because to be sustained your level needs to be on 50%.
They now crash you down to level 3.
You need counselors, who will move you to level 70.
Somebody went to Archbishop Idahosa and was crying, “I want to die, I want to die. I can’t take it anymore. My mother is dead! I can’t take it anymore. Where is God? This God, I won’t serve again. God where are you?
All my service, all my tithing, all my offerings, all my church…!”
As he was talking, Idahosa started crying. She thought he was crying for the mother who died and her case and condition. Church Gist. She started consoling Idahosa, but he kept on crying. She got confused, If na my matter dey make this man cry, E don too much.
She asked, Papa why are you crying?
He said, God is partial! God is partial.
God killed my mother when I was small. Several persons their own died ehn they gave birth to them. Some other person they don’t even know their mother and father, so I’m crying on their behalf. God is partial. He prefer you to us. God showed you favor. He is a partial God.
The woman who came to demoralize and depress Papa Idahosa, she became counselor.
Papa, take heart, he’s a faithful God. He as a just God. He’s a good God. Papa, don’t cry again.
But most of you are surrounded with counselors who tell them, God is wicked. Why did he let your mother die.
Na today you know say God wicked?
Move away from unfriendly friends. Move away from the feelings of urgency in getting things
Ecclesiastes 3:11
Church, look at me as I say it. Read my lips. A life of urgency will always lead you to a life of emergency. If you are given to urgency, you will become a victim of emergency.
Too much urgency leads to multiple emergencies. He makes everything beautiful in its time.
Let them shine thier shine, let them get it when they want to get it. You have to get it when God wants you to.
- Turn your worries into worship.
Philippians 4:6
Where worry stops is where worship starts and where worship stops is where Thanksgiving begins. Turn your worries into testimony. Where worry ends, that’s where worship starts.
