CHURCH OF THE WEEK
Wisdom Christian Centre, Ibadan was inaugurated on the 23rd of February, 2014 in a small hall at DSTV Building, Liberty Road, Ibadan. It is currently located at 1 Joyce-B road, behind formal tantalizer, mobil, ring road, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Pastor Enoch Durotoye and Pastor (Mrs) Funmi Durotoye co-founded the Ministry. They started with about 4 members for a few months, the Church grew to about 12 members and after one year, they grew into over 50 members.
After 5 years of existence, the Church moved into her first built 300-capacity auditorium.
Her mandate is to seek the unchurched, transform men and women who are defeated by life’s challenges and turn them into global Influence as captured in the vision statement.
The vision statement is: Transforming lives and nurturing relationships for global influence.
The Church leadership is made up of Pastors, Ministers, Heads Of Departments (HODs) and Church stewards.
The Church has the following beliefs:
- By God’s Grace, through Faith in what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, salvation is available to all who will truly believe in God’s Redemption plan which is Jesus Christ- The Way, The Truth and The Life.
- The Holy Spirit who is The Teacher, The Guide and The One who empowers Christians to live victorious lives.
-The Scripture, both Old and New Testament is the divinely authoritative Word of God and the standard for every age and life whose authority is final and eternal.
The Church runs three major impactful programs every year.
- Discovery Conference
This is the flagship program at the Wisdom Christian Centre. It is a program that brings other Churches, professionals, politicians, leaders, businessmen, employers and employees together, teaching them God’s Word and the right way to become relevant in their chosen fields of interest. - Wisdom Leadership Academy
- Love and Life
Her Sunday Service holds from 8:00 am-10:30 am and her Wednesday Midweek Services are from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm.
