This month has been declared our month of ‘Winning With Wisdom’ and in this Second Service, we will be looking at WISDOM FOR SUPERNATURAL INCREASE – PART 2. In Part 1, we looked at: ‘Jesus knew what to do’. Church Gist. And in this Second Service, I will go further to tell you what God has for you.
What is Wisdom?
Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do from God’s Word and doing it Matthew 7:24. It is knowing the right way to turn and turning there. The word ‘Supernatural’ means: Superior to the natural, an act that men or Science cannot reproduce. Increase means to make something greater in size, amount or degree. Church Gist. So Wisdom for Supernatural Increase is knowing what to do from God’s Word and doing it to enjoy unexplainable additions in all areas of our lives. Now, hear this and hear me well, you cannot have the Word of God and not enjoy Supernatural increase.
Declarations: From today, as a child of destiny I will enjoy Supernatural increase in all areas of my life.
How to enjoy Supernatural increase?
In the First Service:
1. I said: ‘If you want to enjoy Supernatural increase you must know what to do’. In this Second Service, we will be looking at:
2a. Possess a Supernatural mindset
Our key Scripture for today is taken from the Book of John 6:5-12. In this Second Service, we will be taking our Message from John 6:7-9. In the First Service, I took from John 6:5-6. Church Gist. Two of them (Andrew and Philip) were followers of Jesus, they were both disciples, Jesus said: ‘Find out! What do we do concerning these thousands of persons here? And how would they feed’? Philip said: ‘Master what are you talking about? How do we feed these people when we have no food here’? – He had a negative mindset. Andrew said: ‘I know you are a miracle worker, I know I’ve seen miracles done by You, there is a young boy here that has five loaves but I know you can make things happen’! That you are a follower of Jesus does not mean your mentality is renewed, that you are born again does not mean your mind is renewed.
No! You can be born again and have a negative mindset. Mentality defines destiny! Without a Supernatural mindset, your world will not mind you. Philip was very negative and Andrew was very positive. Two people can be in Church and not have the same results, until you change your thinking, you can’t change your life. No one can be higher than his or her thoughts, you are what you think Proverbs 23:7. Church Gist. Two of them were children of God but Philip said: ‘Forget it Master, this thing can’t work’! Have you not heard people in Church say: ‘Forget it! Forget what Pastor David is saying, this thing can’t happen in this country’! They come to Church oo, they stay in all the Services but they have a negative mindset. ‘Forget what he is talking! Not under this economy, I’m telling you, it won’t work! Okay! I’m an expert of Economics; I realized naira has turned upside down with dollar, then what do you do now? Be realistic’! He’s a Philip!
And Philips are many in Churches including Philip Pastors, ‘very anointed’ but very negative in their talking. ‘This thing you are talking is not practicable, even if God will do it, can it happen now? Let’s be realistic’! Philip! It is the Andrews that can tell you: ‘I know things are tough but God will make a way where there is no way. Those who despise the little available today will not see the great things of tomorrow. Church Gist. Philip looked at the natural while Andrew looked at the Supernatural. Do you understand the difference now? Philip saw five loaves and two fishes, he had a wrong mindset. Andrew saw multiplication with Supernatural power – That was the only difference. You can be born again and not experience Supernatural increase and multiplication if your mind is wrong.
-Somebody will be out of that negativity in the name of Jesus.
Andrew saw more than enough Philippians 4:19. Church Gist. In John 6:10-12, He (Jesus) lifted it, He said: ‘I know what can bring multiplication – Father! Thank You’!
-Today, as you thank God for what is in your hands, it will multiply in the name of Jesus!
God will never multiply anything until you change your mind to see what He has for you Ephesians 3:20.
Declarations: I will possess Christlike mentality, I refuse religious mentality.
You cannot be in the Camp of the Almighty and be intimidated by the devil. Many think the devil has power, he works on your mind. The devil will always want to paint a picture of defeat, lack and scarcity in your mind. Your duty is to turn and say: ‘No! God never said so’! I paint my own life from the Scriptures to enhance my future. So what you should do is: ‘Paint the right pictures from Scriptures to enhance your future’. How do you paint it? Do you know your life is whatever you magnify in your mind? Your life will go in the direction of whatever you magnify in your mind.
Now, listen! Have you ever stayed sincerely and seen yourself poor? Do you know your mind is powerful? If you see yourself poor, let them pray for you from now till tomorrow you will never be rich. Have you ever stayed like this and you say: ‘Nothing works in this country’, you have already concluded in your mind that nothing can work! Church Gist. You have already seen yourself as a poor person. ‘Nothing can ever work! Except I travel abroad, this country! Nothing will work’. You have already set the pace for mediocrity in your heart. ‘Nothing works here, I have to ‘Japa’ outside now’!
Declarations: I refuse to permit any negative thoughts in my mind.
How many of you know that you are wonderfully and fearfully made? I said something: If you are ever sinking in life, watch what you are thinking. Be careful of your thoughts, they are very powerful. Do you know every satanic attack is traceable to something you have allowed your mind to magnify? Satan can never attack you until your mind magnifies that evil. Do you know why Deliverance Ministries don’t come out of satanic attacks? They keep magnifying the devil – ‘Witches are after you, demons are in your family, somebody is after your life’. Church Gist. So even when they give you food you will not eat, you will say: ‘Demons are in this food’! He said we shall eat poison and poison shall not harm us. If you want to sit on a chair, you say: ‘There is a witch on this chair, blood of Jesus’!! If you are driving and a cat runs across, you will say: ‘They have started! Don’t you see that cat that ran across my car? They have started’. If a man cannot come as a man, if they come as a cat is that why you will be afraid, my friend.
The mind is very powerful, don’t allow any negative though to penetrate your mind 2 Corinthians 10:5 – Imaginations means something that forms an image in your subconscious (Image formation). Do you know image is very powerful, if I say: D.o.g, does it form an image in you? Without calling the name, it formed an image of a dog true? You sleep like this, you heard: ‘Now, they are killing people everywhere’. Church Gist. Then, you hear gunshot; maybe it is the gunshot of a Policeman who wants to test his gun. You say: ‘They’ve started! Hey! We told you, they’ve come’! Do you know military men used to service their guns by shooting up? You hear: ‘Gboam’, you say: ‘Hey! They’ve started, they are coming’! Who told you they are coming? You have formed an image of kidnapping in your mind, just a gunshot you believe that somebody is somewhere to kill you – Bible says: ‘Cast it down’, have a new thought in line with Scriptures, let everything you are thinking fall in line with the Word of God.
Now, let me ask you a very funny question: Have you ever stayed like this, you say: Nobody will marry you? Who told you nobody will marry you? The story you heard. You call somebody and say: ‘Look at me very well, do you think any man will marry me’? You are praying oo – ‘I need husband! God I need husband, oh God! I need husband’! then you now call your friend – Look at me very well, do you think anybody will marry me’? Why are you seeking for people’s opinion if you believe the Word of God? That means your mind is already contradicting the Word because for you to seek the opinion of somebody that shows that you are already defeated because if you believe you won’t seek anybody’s opinion, you will seek the opinion of This Book (The Bible).
-And I pray for those who are due for marriage, they will marry you!
So your imagination sets the pace for your destination. Have the mentality that all things are possible Mark 9:23, Romans 12:2. Your mind will determine the opening of doors to you. Now, let me say this to you: Every child of God must refuse the grasshopper mentality. I am going to show you Scriptures in Numbers 13:30-33, if the land eats people then how did they go there? If that land eats people but they got there, why didn’t it eat them? Some of us, we magnify issues – ‘Do you know in Nigeria, nobody prosper’, but why are people prospering? Church Gist. You over magnify issues. ‘Look! This country, nobody is making it’. If nobody is making it then everybody would have died but we are all alive, that means some people are making it. ‘In Nigeria you can never make it, I am telling you’! You are lying! People can make it. You are over-magnifying issues. The way you see yourself that’s how people see you Numbers 13:33. The reason why people call you a poor person is because you talk too much poverty. They see you and say: ‘How nah! Poor man’! The way you talk about poverty it’s as if your name is poverty. Before even people ask you, you say: ‘Bobo, e get as e be oo, in our Church they said we should not talk like that but come I want to tell you: Things are hard’! So for everybody who knows you, before you come they say: ‘Things-are-hard’ is coming’.
But listen carefully, all the 12 Spies including Caleb and Joshua acknowledged the existence of giants. Nobody is saying things are not tough but you don’t magnify the evil, I’m coming somewhere! Faith does not mean you are denying the obvious. Everybody knows naira and dollar madness true? But the difference is this: The ten had faith in the giants, two had faith in God, ten were busy talking about negativity, two were busy talking about what God can do. Are you getting the difference? Some persons say: ‘With God I know it’s possible and another is saying: ‘I know with the economy nothing will work’! It depends on what you magnify. Ten were grasshoppers, two were giant killers! Your conversation reveals whether you are a winner or a loser, once you talk with a Christian you will know whether the person magnifies evil or God. You will never hear me talk about the devil on my lips, if you are in this Church I will never – I will never magnify a witch or a wizard, I will magnify what God can do.
There are Churches you go to, they say: ‘Look! You have to wake up in the midnight because witches are now living in your compound. In fact, your next door neighbor is a wizard. Church Gist. I am telling you, when your house girl is bringing food, look at her well to know if she is moving with her toe or her heels she may be moving in the air, she is in the coven’! You now wonder, what did you come to Church for? So everybody coming around is a witch! The Bible is a Bible of pictures, it gives you the picture of God, the devil and the picture of yourself. I said something some time: ‘Everybody has four pictures in life:
a. What you think about yourself from Scriptures.
b. What others think about you.
c. What satan thinks about you.
d. What God thinks about you.
Most of us, we think about ourselves negatively, some of us walk by people’s opinion: ‘What are you saying about me’? and then some of us, the devil have given us a negative picture but the only acceptable picture is the picture of the Word of God. Even what you think about yourself most times is wrong. Let me share this shortly, I was sick very sick years back and my body told me I will die – my own body because I was sick to the point of death. Church Gist. My mind told me, ‘You will die’ and I said: ‘Satan! Including myself you are lying, Himself (Jesus) took over my infirmities’ and I refused my own thought, I refused the thought of the devil and I came out of the sickness. Have you stayed like this and your mind will begin to play nonsense and say: ‘O boy, e be like say you go die quick oo’ that thought is negative.
And another person will also come to you and say: ‘O boy I dreamt’, that person is also talking about what he thinks about you. He says: ‘I dreamt that you died’, ‘You dream’? ‘Me sef I dream’, so two of you have agreed nonsense. Both you and the man are all telling lies because He said the number of your days you shall fulfill. So when that kind of thought comes, ‘Shut up! You devil including my mind and everybody talking, we are all lying, I will fulfill my days’. Church Gist. Mind what goes on in your mind! The ten of them were like grasshoppers, it was a negative opinion about themselves. Grasshopper’s mentality will make you keep hopping. You know why we keep talking like that? Because we sit, we talk in the midst of people so it affects our mentality negatively. Even the news we hear, be careful! This (The Bible) is the only news you should work with, they are new! Get news from here to continue your life.
Declaration: Every negative thought in my mind, I cast it down; by the blood of Jesus, I chase them out! Church Gist. Whatever contradicts God’s Word in my mind, out in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus purifies my mind to agree only with the Truth, in the name of Jesus.
Let me say this to you, you can never prosper beyond your level of thinking. Stop thinking poverty! The Holy Ghost said to me: ‘This is the mindset we have’, you don’t need to know people. He says: ‘Those who do know their God…’ Daniel 11:32b. You don’t need an introduction to men, just get connected to the Most High God and things will change. The mind is powerful! Just imagine if I’m depending on men for this Church to be prosperous! My mind is so renewed that I don’t look at any mortal man, This (The Word of God) is where my strength is. So be careful! So your mind has to be renewed to the point where you look up to God and God alone, then God can use anybody He likes.
2b . John 6:6-9. If you look at that Scripture, this boy, that must have been his lunch pack but the boy was willing to release the 5 loaves to the hands of Jesus – So you must be a giver. The primary purpose for wealth is to be a blessing, you have to operate the covenant and the foundation of the covenant is tithing later your offering. Now listen carefully, tithing is the biblical practice of returning ten percent of your income back to God after you have had it Leviticus 27:30-32 – It belongs to God, don’t be greedy, pay your tithe if you want to have supernatural increase Malachi 3:10-12. Tithing is a proof that you have faith in God in the midst of scarcity; He will make a way where there is no way. Consistent tithing guarantees consistent harvest. Keeping the tithe is theft Malachi 3:8, it is risky to be a robber! Until you are a giver you are not entitled to harvest. Church Gist. You must be a giver to enjoy supernatural increase in the Kingdom of God. If the boy didn’t release the five loaves, Jesus wouldn’t have multiplied anything Genesis 8:22, Proverbs 11:24, so if you don’t release what is in your hand there is nothing for God to multiply – Supernatural increase Luke 6:38, Acts 20:35b. 2 Corinthians 9:6-10 (MSG), if in the midst of hardship and I decide to be stingy, I should get stingy harvest and if I give, I will also get big harvest.
Now listen, practical things that happen! When naira became very scarce, you know? Nigeria is the only country where they use their currency to buy their currency, there was a time we used our currency to buy our currency. How many of you know the time? Church Gist. When that wicked man was there, for the first time Nigeria used their currency to buy their currency. That time it was so tough, people died oo, hope you know? People could not pay hospital bills even when they had the money they could not pay so some people died out of such wickedness.
-All these wicked people in this country, God will take them one after the other.
I used to talk about the wicked man, are you not seeing it? That man is wicked! There are people they enjoy to see people suffer. You know what wicked people do? When people are not suffering, they don’t like it, they take pleasure in people’s suffering. The first sign when you see a wicked person is that when the common man suffers he doesn’t feel it, that’s a sign of wickedness! That’s by the way! Now in that time, people were not giving offerings because it was somehow. I know the principle of prosperity that when things are scarce, you should give more. In farming, I’m going to use farming to illustrate it. Church Gist. In farming, if there is drought, there is no food to eat and a farmer has something to plant and the whole people are looking for food to eat. Is that time the best time to plant more or the time to plant small? For instance, let me use maize, they need maize for Agriculture, they need maize for piggery and they need maize for things and this man has maize in his hands and there is no maize in the market and he is to plant. Now, should he plant more that time or he should plant small? Because the harvest he is expecting should be big, is that true? Do you know the amount of seed you plant determines the amount of harvest you get? The reason you are getting poor harvest is because the seed you planted was poor. So don’t expect to get a big harvest when you didn’t plant a big seed, it has nothing to do with volume, it has to do with quality and quantity.
Now for instance, the man who has one thousand naira and plants ten naira is not a seed true? His tithe alone is hundred naira for one thousand but he planted ten naira, is that a seed? No! because even his tithe he has not covered it. So if I have one thousand and I’m able to plant for instance three hundred, do you know I have planted heavily? Now, a man who has one million and plants fifty thousand, the fifty thousand may look bigger than the man who planted three hundred naira but in the sight of God three hundred naira is bigger because the man with the one million naira, fifty thousand naira is not even up to his tithe. Church Gist. So it is not the amount, it is the faithfulness of what you are doing. ‘Do you know, I gave five million out of the five hundred million’? It is nothing because your tithe alone is fifty million. So in the midst of hardship, I increased my offering, that’s what I did and my income increased. From the day I increased my offering, my income increased. In fact in the midst of hardship was when I was getting more money because the principle of God cannot be broken not by even the economy. In the midst of hardship, the boy gave his much and it multiplied! The best time to give is now! 2 Corinthians 9:6-9, God does not multiply seeds you have not sown, God will only multiply the seeds you have sown. Zero seed times one thousand prayers and fasting is zero. So when the boy sowed five loaves, God multiplied the loaves, if there were no loaves, there wouldn’t have been any point of contact. What did the boy give? Bread! What did Jesus multiply? Did He bring cassava? Everything will produce after its kind. When the boy gave loaves and Jesus said: ‘Father, thank you’! What multiplied? Bread!
What do you really want? Don’t be religious! Money! If you don’t give money, nothing to multiply. You cannot give prayer to multiply money! I can’t give preaching now and get money. If I preach from now till tomorrow and I don’t give, I will be poor. The boy gave loaves, what multiplied? Loaves! If you give laughter, what will multiply? Laughter! If you want money, what will you give? He multiplies seed sown, He does not multiply prayer offered. Prayer warrior! I know you came from a Church where they shout in prayers, if you like bark like a dog, you will get multiplied dog barking, anywhere you go, dogs go dey bark. Before you enter any compound sef, dog go dey bark for you sef. My friend! This is the secret, you can’t break the Scripture John 10:35. If you like cry, ‘God, you know I am a widow’. In the First Service, I talked about the widow of Zarephath, God will look at you and say: ‘Me, the Almighty God’. Now listen, when God wanted humanity what did He give? His son! Let’s not deceive ourselves, this principle you cannot break it, God Himself could not break it. What do you want? Money! Okay! Don’t sow money and be deceiving yourself, be sowing singing, be sowing preaching! Have you not seen preachers who are very poor? They think that preaching can bring money. Lie!! Even if I preach from now till tomorrow, money will not come. We all have something to give, giving pleasures to God. What have I said in summary: Believe God for a new mentality, discipline what you see, hear on television and social media, build your faith with God’s Word, be positive about life. It’s time to step up, giving is living. Church Gist. Giving is the gateway to supernatural supplies.
I used a young man in the First Service to pray when he was sick. Look! Sickness and prosperity are not the same principles that’s where the Church misses it. ‘Pastor, pray for me now make things change’, e no go change oo. Church Gist. That’s where we miss it, we are thinking that we can use the formula of healing for prosperity. So ignorant Pastors too say: ‘We are going to pray today that every poor man in this Church will be rich’! Lie!! The poverty go increase. If the Church is a Deliverance Ministry, poverty is too much in their Ministry because they are trying to use a Peugeot key to open a Mercedes door. It doesn’t work like that; the principle for healing is not the principle for prosperity.
-Now! Every sick, I command you: ‘Healed’! I command disease, go in the name of Jesus!
But I cannot say poverty go!
