29th October 2022: Dr. Paul Enenche declares at the Dunamis Glory Dome, Abuja on return from ministration in Maiduguri and Jalingo that ‘The devil that will determine when we go to Church is a bastard and has not been born’ in response to the security advisory released by the USA on insecurity in Nigeria’s capital.

29th October 2014: Dr Chidi Okoroafor is elected as General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Nigeria. He served as the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Nigeria until March, 2020.

29th October, 1993: City of Faith complex is renamed Cityplex Towers. City of Faith was originally a three tower hospital built to serve as a teaching hospital, research facility, and home of the Oral Roberts University Medical School. It was open from 1981 and closed by 1989 due to financial difficulties and renamed as Cityplex Towers, now a home to 3 individual hospitals with over 20 surgery suites as well as 100+ additional tenants.

29th October, 1919: Albert Benjamin Simpson passes on to glory. He was a Canadian Preacher and Founder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

29th October, 1562: George Abbot is born. He was the translator of the Gospels, Acts and Revelation for the King James Bible and a former Head of the Church of England.
