THE LORD SENT ME TO YOU IN IBADAN TO INTRODUCE TO YOU, JESUS WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST
GOD SENT JESUS AS THE EXPRESSION OF HIS LOVE AND JESUS LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR YOU AND ME AS A MANIFESTATION OF HIS LOVE
IF YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED TRUE LOVE, THEN EXPERIENCE THE TRUE CHRIST
IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND JESUS’ LOVE YOU MAY NOT ACCEPT HIS SALVATION
THERE IS NO ONE THAT CAN LOVE YOU THE WAY JESUS LOVES YOU
JESUS CAME SO THAT WE MAY NOT PERISH BUT THAT WE MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE
BETWEEN NOW AND TOMORROW NIGHT, WHAT THE CITY OF IBADAN HAS NOT SEEN IN A LONG TIME WILL HAPPEN IN THE NAME OF JESUS
WHEN YOU ARE BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST AND FIRE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMAIN THE SAME.
AFTER JESUS BAPTIZES YOU IN THE HOLY GHOST AND FIRE, YOU BECOME A FIERY TORMENT TO THE GATES OF HELL.
THERE IS A THIEF WHO IS OUT TO STEAL WHAT GOD HAS DELIVERED TO YOU.
JESUS NEVER REFERS ANY CASE TO ANY DOCTOR BUT DOCTORS REFER CASES TO HIM.
SIN IS NOT JUST AN ACT, SIN IS A NATURE THAT ONLY JESUS CAN CHANGE.
YOUR MONEY, WEALTH, POSITIONS AND FAMILY CANNOT SAVE YOU. JESUS WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO SAVES.
THE GREATEST MIRACLE THAT CAN EVER HAPPEN IS THE MIRACLE OF HANDING OVER YOUR LIFE TO JESUS WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST.
IT’S NOT ENOUGH TO BELONG TO A DENOMINATION. IT’S IMPORTANT TO BELONG TO JESUS.
LET’S LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, DENOMINATION, TRADITION, CHURCH MEMBERSHIP AND EMBRACE JESUS, THE ONE WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST.
JESUS WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST WILL RETURN AGAIN TO PICK HIS BRIDE. IF YOU ARE NOT HIS BRIDE, HE CANNOT TAKE YOU HOME.
JESUS IS COMING BACK SOONER THAN WE KNOW. HE IS NOT COMING FOR A CHURCH, HE IS COMING FOR HIS BRIDE.
– Evangelist Isaac Oyedepo on “JESUS WHO IS CALLED THE CHRIST” || Ibadan Miracle Crusade || Day One || 22nd February 2024 ||
I bring a raw gospel message tonight and then everyone that may have any form of sickness or disease in their body, tonight you get ready for your healing, your miracle because wherever Jesus is, miracles happen. Church Gist. Tomorrow night will be the mega night, where the entire city will be gathered into one place and Jesus will show forth himself. But you came here tonight, you will not leave the same way you came in the name of Jesus!
Tonight I’ll speak as briefly as possible and then the altar will be open to everyone who needs to make it right with Jesus tonight. I’ll speak on the subject that He gave to me titled, “Jesus, who is called the Christ.” Matthew 1:16. The Lord has sent me to you in Ibadan to introduce to you, Jesus. Jesus who is called the Christ. Jesus is the Son of man but also the Son of God. Church Gist. Some here may have heard about him, others may have never heard about him. Some may have experienced him, others may have never experienced him. Some may have touched him, others may have never touched him. In fact, some may have sang about him, others may never have had intimacy with him. I bring to you Jesus tonight, who is beyond a religion, who is a person that walked on this Earth yet is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Who is this Jesus who is called the Christ?
1. Jesus who is called the Christ is our lover. John 3:16; John 15:13. God sent Jesus as the expression of his love and Jesus laid down his life for you and me as a manifestation of his love. He has loved us with an everlasting love, a love that knows no end. We can’t tell where the love began and we will never be able to see the end of his love. Jesus who is called the Christ is our lover. Church Gist. There are many that have claimed to love others but when the rubber hits the road, the love they claim to have had is no where to be found – but not Jesus. Romans 5:8. Jesus who is called the Christ is our lover. If you’ve never experienced love – true love, then experience the true Christ. His love is beyond emotions, beyond our labours, His love is his nature. Just like a man will remain a man even though they attempt to turn him into a woman, in him is the nature of a man; in God is the nature of love, in Jesus is the nature of love. I introduce to you Jesus who is called the Christ who loves you and yet you can do nothing about it. You cannot change his love for you because his love is everlasting. He loves you – that is Jesus who is called the Christ.
An Evangelist once shared a story about a group of brethren who were praying for another brother in Christ who needed a kidney transplant. They prayed and they fasted and kept praying and it seemed like nothing changed. Then the people gathered and said, “alright,” the leader said let’s now find out who will donate their kidney – a part of them – for this other brother who is on the verge of death. Church Gist. So they went round the room and nobody agreed to donate the kidney. So the leader of the fellowship said, “let me throw up a feather. We believe it’s the will of God”…according to him (lack of knowledge)…”whoever the feather points to or lands on will be the one to donate the kidney.” So they threw up the feather and the feather began to come towards the leader of the fellowship and was pointing towards him and the man began to blow the feather, “puff puff” and began to scream but the feather wouldn’t go away. The feather came directly to him and landed on him. He prayed for his friend but couldn’t lay down his life for his friend.
Tell me about true love, there is no one that can love you the way Jesus loves you.
2. He is our saviour: it is his love that led him to save us. If you don’t understand his love you may not accept his salvation. Jesus who is called the Christ is our saviour. John 3:16; John 15:13. So love comes before saving. It is his love nature that led him to save us by dying for us. Church Gist. Jesus who is called the Christ is our saviour. Matthew 1:21. You and I need a saviour and his love for us is what has led him to lay down his life for us. Jesus came so that we may not perish but that we may have everlasting life.
It is not enough to belong to the Church. It is important to know who the head of the Church is. His name is Jesus. He is not just our Lover but He is our Saviour. Sin comes with human nature. Romans 3:23. Church Gist. Sin is not just an act, sin is a nature and it takes Jesus being accepted to change that nature of sin. Jesus who is called the Christ is not just our Lover, Jesus who is called the Christ is also our Saviour.
3. Jesus who is called the Christ is our Healer.
There is no doctor that can match this Great Physician. He charges you nothing except your faith to bring healing into your body. I have seen tremendous miracles take place and many more will happen tonight. By tomorrow night, everyone you know who is called sick, go and discharge them from the hospital and bring them to Jesus. Jesus can heal all manner of sickness and disease. Acts 10:38. He healed all that were oppressed by the devil, not some. Jesus never refers any case to any doctor but doctors refer cases to him. Church Gist. There is absolutely no sickness, tumours can be melted by Jesus. The lame can walk in His name, the blind can see in His name. The deaf can hear in His name. Jesus who is called the Christ is our Great Physician. He is our Healer. Therefore anyone reading this, that pain or affliction in your body expires. Because Jesus is our Great Physician who is always moved with the feelings of our infirmities. Hebrews 4:15. He is always moved with compassion to heal us. If there are 50 here who are sick, Jesus is available to heal you. If they are 100, Jesus is available to heal them. Church Gist. The number does not dry His virtue. His healing virtue cannot be drained by a crowd. No matter the number of people who may be sick in their bodies, I like you to get set. In just a moment as His name is declared, as faith is released and declarations are made, whatever came in here as a sickness or affliction, we decree that it is over in the name of Jesus.
4. Jesus who is called the Christ is our Deliverer.
In case you came with any oppression of the devil, it must not escape tonight. Jesus who is called the Christ is not just our Healer, He is also our Deliverer. Acts 10:38. That is why in a crusade like this, mad men should be here plenty. The sick should be here plenty. They are everywhere you can find them, we didn’t ask you to heal them. We didn’t ask you to deliver them. Church Gist. I cannot heal them, I cannot deliver them but I am introducing you to one who has a clean track record. Who is never put to shame by any sickness, who is never put to shame by any affliction. He is not just our Healer, He is also our Deliverer. Isaiah 38:14. Jesus is our Deliverer, Jesus is our Undertaker and He is here tonight. Therefore anyone with any form of oppression, trouble in your sleep, nightmares, mental disorder, whatever it is, in the name of the Lord Jesus who is called the Christ, you are delivered tonight.
5. Jesus who is called the Christ is our Restorer.
John 10:10. Jesus has come to restore whatever may have been stolen from you. Can I decree over this crusade ground and anyone that stepped on this ground, anything you have lost in the last year, anything you have lost in the past 10 years, anything you may have lost in several decades, Jesus who is our Restorer will restore not only what you have lost but will restore it in multiplied folds. Jesus Christ is our Restorer because of the thief in town. There is a thief who is out to steal what God has delivered to you. He is out to steal your joy. He is out to steal your peace, he is out to steal your comfort but I am here to tell you that no matter how long the thief has been in town, Jesus Christ has arrived in town tonight. Jesus will restore everything that the enemy has stolen from you.
6. Jesus who is called the Christ is our baptizer in the Holy Ghost and Fire.
Matthew 3:11. Jesus will baptize you, not a pastor. Before these two nights of the crusade are over, there are people who will be literally baptized in the Holy Ghost and Fire, many have been but many more will be and a lot more will be baptized in the Holy Ghost and Fire. Something will happen to you, you will enter into the fire dimension of your walk with Christ. Who baptizes you with the Holy Ghost and fire? Jesus! So tomorrow night as our custom is, get ready for a raw baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire. When you are baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire, it is impossible to remain the same. When you are baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire, Jesus Christ conducting that baptism, you become a fiery torment to the gates of hell. When Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Ghost and fire, you fear nothing. When Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire, you step into an environment and you take over. Church Gist. When Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire, even the climate changes. Between now and tomorrow night, what the city of Ibadan has not seen in a long time will happen in the name of Jesus.
7. Jesus who is called the Christ is our soon coming King.
Revelation 22:12. Jesus who is called the Christ will return again to pick His bride. If you are not His bride, Jesus who is called the Christ cannot take you home. Jesus who is called the Christ is our soon coming King. Matthew 24:44. He is coming back again. Why do we labour the way we labour and almost have no time for rest and enter into a city and declare that the City must be saved in two, three days? Because Jesus is coming back. Church Gist. He is coming back faster than we realize. He is coming back sooner than we know. He is not coming for a Church, He is coming for His bride. It’s not enough to belong to a denomination, it’s important to belong to Jesus. One of the things Jesus told us is, don’t go about promoting denominations, your duty is not to promote a Church, your duty is to promote Jesus who is coming back for those who have received Him as Lord and Saviour. Jesus who is coming back again!
We all who are hearing this Message have no idea of the time; for soon and very soon, He will come back again in the clouds with the blast of trumpets for those who know Him, for those who have encountered Him, for those who have received Him. Your money cannot save you, your wealth cannot save you, your positions cannot save you, your family cannot save you, Jesus who is called the Christ is the one who saves. I introduce to you, Jesus who is called the Christ. Church Gist. He is our lover, He is our saviour, He is our healer, He is our deliverer, He is our restorer, He is our baptizer in the Holy Ghost and fire and He is our soon coming King. The greatest miracle that can ever happen is the miracle of handing over your life to Jesus, who is called the Christ. Don’t pretend to know Him when you do not. Don’t pretend to have met Him when you have not, don’t pretend your title exempts you from judgment because it does not. Jesus who is called the Christ is the one who is introduced to you tonight. I know Him, I have met Him, I have confessed Him, I have experienced Him and I can declare to you: ‘There is none like Him’.
I do not present to you a religion, I do not present to you a denomination, I do not present to you an idol, I present to you, ‘Jesus’! Within these two nights on the Crusade ground, we will see Jesus do these seven things. He will express His love towards you, He will save you, He will heal you, He will deliver you, He will restore you and you will be certain that your name is written in the Book of Life in preparation for the soon coming King. Church Gist. Ibadan, receive Him tonight! He will change your life, He will give you joy that knows no bounds, He will give you peace that passes all understanding, He will give you confidence in your heart that any time the trumpet sounds, you know you are on the list of those who will be raptured with Him. Let’s lay aside every weight, let’s lay aside denomination, let’s lay aside tradition, let’s lay aside Church membership and let’s embrace Jesus, the one who is called the Christ.
—–ALTAR CALL——
How many believe Jesus still heals today? How many have ever experienced Jesus healed their bodies before? How many know that Jesus has not changed? How many are set to receive a miracle here tonight? Church Gist. Anybody like that? If you are like that, shout “I am the one.” If you believe in miracles, shout “I believe in miracles.”
I will read a few verses and then begin to administer the healing power of Jesus. We said, Jesus who is called the Christ is our Saviour, we saw Him save. We also said Jesus who is called the Christ is our Healer and many of you acclaimed you have seen him heal. Church Gist. If He saved tonight, then He will heal tonight. In fact many of you have already been healed without any prayer.
But I want to ask you a question tonight and you will understand in a moment why this question is posed. This is not for everybody just like salvation tonight wasn’t for those who were already saved. Healing is not for everybody but it is for those who are sick, those who have pain in their bodies, those who have affliction in their bodies. Church Gist. As He is healing, He will also be delivering. Acts 10:38. Therefore I ask this congregation tonight on this crusade ground whether you have seen him heal or not “is there any sickness in your body? Is there any pain in your body? Is there any oppression in your life?” If you are like that here tonight, where you are seated, you won’t have to stand up. I ask you to raise your hand. There is a pain in your body, there is a sickness in your body, there is an affliction, there is a lump, may be partially deaf, partially blind, whatever that affliction is, wherever you are, raise your hand because I will ask Jesus to touch you where you are. It’s not for everybody. It’s for those who want to see Jesus, Jehovah Rapha, the One who heals.
I have seen Him melt lumps. I have seen Him dry up issues of blood. I have seen Him open the blind eyes, I have seen Him open deaf ears, I have seen the crippled walk but tonight the question is, do you want Jesus to heal you? I don’t care whether you are a pastor, a teacher, a prophet, an evangelist, I was once a pastor but sick. Church Gist. I know Jesus the Healer. Jesus who is called the Christ can reverse the irreversible. If you are like that here tonight, before I speak to you and release God’s healing power upon this Crusade Ground…I want Jesus to heal me, raise your hand where you are seated.
– Jesus look at those hands lifted up, let there be healings, let there be deliverances!
– May every hand that was lifted up just a moment from now experience the healing power of Jesus! Church Gist. And this Crusade Ground, everybody here will shout the loudest Amen!
In Mark 2:1-12, it’s a bit of a reading, I will read it you and then I will point out 3 things to you and then Jesus will begin to touch everyone who had their hands raised up and in case you were shy, you didn’t have your hands raised up but there is an affliction that you have learnt to live with, you think it is normal. Jesus will take care of it tonight!
Mark 2:1-12…the palsy here means he was paralyzed. We expect to see people brought on wheelchairs tomorrow. We expect to see people brought on stretchers tomorrow. We expect to see people coming with crutches tomorrow. Church Gist. We expect to see people crawling their way tomorrow. This is what happened in the days of Jesus. But the Bible says, (our focus) ‘when Jesus saw their faith.’ So faith can be seen. ‘When Jesus saw their faith!”
How then does Jesus see our faith for healing? – 3 Ways.
1. He sees our faith by our expectation in our hearts. If Jesus will see your faith, then you must have an expectation. Jesus saw their faith, He didn’t just see them carrying the man, He saw 4 people carrying a man with expectation. Church Gist. When the roof opened, Jesus didn’t see physical men, he saw expectation. When Jesus saw their faith, it didn’t say, Jesus saw the men. It said “Jesus saw their faith.”
I like you to be pregnant with expectations. A man or a woman goes into the hospital room to be checked up by a doctor, goes in for a surgery, he goes alone with doctors surrounding him. Church Gist. It is not a crowd that determines your expectation, it is your heart that determines your expectation. Jesus saw their faith and faith is a substance of things hoped for or expected.
Tonight, as Jesus looks down this Crusade Ground, He is looking for men, women, boys, girls with expectation – people who didn’t come here to try but people who came here to be healed. Church Gist. The Bible would say that they gathered to hear and to be healed.
So one, Jesus sees our faith by our expectation in our hearts. Don’t lose your expectation. Don’t be driven by who you asked to come that didn’t come. Don’t be on the lookout for a friend. Jesus will stop for a person. Church Gist. Jesus will enter into a city and depart a city and He will find a person with expectation even at the gate. How does Jesus see our faith? He sees our faith by expectation in our hearts.
2. Jesus sees our faith by desperation for a touch. With the 4 men that carried that young man who was paralyzed, uncovered the roof, Jesus didn’t only see expectation, Jesus saw desperation. It is not enough to have expectations. Church Gist. Expectation brings you to the crusade ground, desperation pushes you till you get a touch. It was expectation that brought them to the crusade Jesus was conducting, it was desperation that tore the roof. I don’t care where you are. You may be on the Crusade ground, or you may be hearing me from afar, or you may be watching online. Have expectations – stage one. Stage 2 – have desperation.
There is where expectation stops, there is where desperation takes over. Expectation gets you to a point, desperation takes you beyond that point. Expectation, graduating to desperation. Every other person would have stayed by the door or stayed in overflow in the day of Jesus. Church Gist. But desperation said, ‘We didn’t come to just see. We didn’t come just expecting. We came desperate’. So, they tore the roof without asking who would repair the roof. They let down their friend without a way to get him back up because they knew ‘If we let him down and Jesus alone touches him, there will be no need to raise him up again. He will walk out of the place’. Expectation gets you there, but desperation lifts up the roof.
Someone’s faith must tear the roof. You are too young to die. You are too young to be buried. You are too young to be carried. You are too young to be oppressed. Church Gist. Desperation is a way God sees your faith. He doesn’t only see it by your expectation and I’m talking now through scriptures. He sees it by your desperation.
Jesus is saying ‘How many are expecting?’ Many people raised up their hands. Now, He’s asking ‘How many are desperate?’ How many have gone to their last bus stops? Church Gist. How many are here without thinking of a plan B? How many are here knowing that if Jesus doesn’t heal me, nobody else can? Desperation!
When I was diagnosed with 3 major diseases, it wasn’t expectation that got me out. Church Gist. It wasn’t expectation Jesus saw, it was my desperation.
Every hand that came up expecting healing, now God is saying ‘Can you graduate from expectation to desperation?’ Matthew 11:12. Luke 16:16. Desperation!
3: He sees our faith by our actions in response to His command. If you begin to study the healing ministry of Jesus, many times, He simply gave a command. Church Gist. The man with the withered hand, ‘Stretch forth your hand’. The hand is withered, how do I stretch it?
This is how it works. When man attempts, God completes. Take the first step and God will take the next step. James 4:8. Expectation gets you to a point – desperation, another point – action. After action comes confirmation. Church Gist. Many are waiting for confirmation but are afraid to take action. Someone says ‘What if I attempt to walk and I fall down?’ Attempt first. Do what you can do and then, God will do what you can not do.
God is out here to open blind eyes, open deaf ears, allow the lame to walk, all kinds of miracles but this is the process. Church Gist. Jesus is scanning through the Crusade ground right now and for all that are watching, He’s saying ‘Can I see your faith?’ and as He did with this Man sick of the palsy, He’s also here, ready to do.
The Man who was sick of the palsy could have as well refused to have his friends carry him. He may have said ‘I’m alright. Every man dies (in) some way. Church Gist. So, I may as well let it out’ But they put him, he refused not, they carried him, he refused not. They opened the roof, he refused not. They dropped him in and Jesus spoke and He refused not, he took action and after action came confirmation.
I’ve just taught you a very simple message on the Man sick of the palsy. Jesus saw their faith through their expectation. Church Gist. He saw their faith through their desperation. He confirmed their faith after their action.
Who told you there is anything too hard for Him? Who told you your diagnosis scares Him? For whom shall believe our report? (The Bible).
Tonight is your night!
Hear me. Major sicknesses and minor sicknesses are all sicknesses. Major afflictions and minor afflictions are all afflictions. Major oppressions and minor oppressions are all oppressions. If you play with a small snake, it won’t take you long to discover it can kill. Church Gist. What you nurse today may kill tomorrow. Don’t think of tomorrow. ‘Oh! I’ll get my healing tomorrow’. Get it now! Take it now! Expect it now! Be desperate for it now! Take action now! If you had no other choice or no other option, would you stay watching and waiting?
The Man Sick of the Palsy is a revelatory pattern that everyone who follows sees the confirmation at the end of the day. Church Gist. How expectant are you tonight? How desperate are you tonight? and what actions will you dare take tonight?
If there is anybody that is like that man sick of the palsy who will expect, who will be desperate and who will take action, Jesus will confirm your faith that He sees with miracles, with signs and with wonders.
