Every God planted Church is a kingdom storehouse and they store unique goods. So when you see people come out with anything from that store, that means it is available in that store. If you want a wristwatch, you don’t go to a furniture store to look for it. If you want a spare part, you don’t go to a fashion store to look for it. By divine election of grace, breakthrough is one of the things that God stocks in this house and it is evident everywhere. Every house of God has its unique goods. Psalm 65:4. There are goodnesses reserved in every house of God. For instance, this is a home of signs and wonders. For instance, prosperity is our global identity. Church Gist. Now, breakthrough is our surname. You keep breaking through on all sides which means breakthrough is part of the things He stocks in this storehouse. Please understand me because if you don’t understand natural things, you can’t pick spiritual things. If you get to any church without any evidence of what is stocked, leave. It won’t add anything to you. Fruitfulness is stocked here from the days of fellowship time. Healing is stocked here before the Church began. He is the one who allocates it, it is not expertise or strength. So you can’t be here and be a victim of breakdowns if you are truly connected.
Spiritual virtues don’t travel along biological lines or proximity. Samuel, a great priest, had two sons, none partook of what he carried. Eli was a priest that would speak and it would come to pass but his sons were sons of Belial. It is spiritual connectivity that secures the flow of virtue. You have to be connected, don’t just be present. Church Gist. Timothy connected to his mother and the mother connected to the grandmother and the grace began to flow. Don’t just sit down here being present, get spiritually connected. “As you live and as I liveth, I will not leave you” that is Elisha. The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. I can’t be in a breakthrough house and be a victim of a breakdown.
Prayers: Help me to stay connected for the flow of breakthroughs stocked in this house. Church Gist. Help me to remain connected to I can be drawing from the virtues of this house all the days of my life.
Lord, today I pray that every single Winner worldwide will have the grace to connect with the goodness stocked in this house and let breakthrough become the identity of every Winner worldwide. Church Gist. So let it be. This morning, bless us beyond our wildest imagination. Show us the kingdom pathway to a world of unlimited breakthroughs in Jesus’ precious name.
Just before we start, the first good news. By this Wednesday at our various zonal fellowship centres, we will be informed about the 40 major distribution centres in pursuit of the Kingdom Care Agenda. Distribution will take place across 200 centres thereabout but the main centres where these materials will be stocked are 40. Next Saturday is D-day for anyone bringing anything to the Lord for distribution to individuals as the need may be. Church Gist. Non-perishable food items are welcome. Not vegetables, not raw tomatoes, so it can be preserved for the time of distribution. Distribution begins the upper Wednesday, anyone in need should move into any of those centres. It is not weakness to ask for help when you need it, it is wisdom. If your neighbour comes asking for help and it is in your power to do it, don’t ask him to come back tomorrow. So there is provision for it. For all of us who are blessed, the Lord said do good to all men, especially those that are of the household of faith. So we are committed. That also includes clothes for children, male and female. Adults, male and female. No one shall walk naked in this house.
So Saturday 23rd, we are bringing in what God has laid in your heart to be a blessing to others. We have also set up various accounts along zonal fellowship centres where you can put your financial seed on Kingdom Care matters. Church Gist. That is put in place in case you can’t carry a bag of rice from your house, you can always drop the seed and indicate what you want it for to serve the needy. Proverbs 28:27. Enjoy it, don’t let it be a burden, let it be a delight to your soul. Everyone who is receiving help today will become a helper tomorrow.
We continue in our teaching series and we are now in Part 3. SERVING GOD AND THE INTERESTS OF HIS KINGDOM PAYS THE UNMATCHABLE.
There are treasures in the Word, the Bible with the capacity to set anyone above all nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 28:1. There are treasures in the Word with capacity to set anyone above any nation of the world when discovered and engaged with. I can still remember very clearly in the year 1984, our church was still under 40 when God appeared to me from scriptures. God appears to people from scriptures. 1 Samuel 3:21. God still appears to people today, many here are witnesses of how God appears to them through the Word. The Lord said to me from that scriptures, “My son David, there is a place for you on top if you are interested.” Lord, I am interested. “Then whatever I tell you to do, do it. You don’t have to beg me.” Church Gist. It is not ‘gbe mi soke’ prayer. Whatever I tell you to do, do it and you are on your way to the topmost top. We have enough treasures in the Word that can take any ordinary person to the topmost top in the race of life. What is a breakthrough? Above all nations of the earth. That is something else.
The greatest commandment in all of scriptures is loving God with one’s heart, soul and strength. Mark 12:30-31. Love God, love your neighbour and you are last. What a commandment. Love is the fulfillment of the law that launches us into the blessedness of Deuteronomy 28:1-14. All of those blessings are fulfilled in one. Thou shalt love the Lord with all thy heart, all thy soul and all thy strength. Love is the fulfillment of the law. You are in love, you have fulfilled all that the law demands. When the love of God takes the central stage of a man’s life, he is turned into a living wonder, a pacesetter, a pathfinder and a trailblazer. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:9. They are ahead of their generations, they are far beyond what age they live in. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, what God has in stock for them that love Him. 1 John 4:16. As we grow in love, we are filled with all the fullness of God who does new things every day. These individuals are newsmakers by new things happening in their lives time and over. This is what makes stewardship fruitful. 1 Corinthians 13:3. The love of God as the motivation in our stewardship is what makes it fruitful. Supernaturally fruitful. Love-driven stewardship, love motivated stewardship.
I am not serving God for what He does but for who He is and my affection for Him. That is why some are serving without results. “Though I offer my body to be burnt…” If it is to make money, you are wasting your time. The greatest question that gives life meaning, “Do you love me?” That is the greatest question that gives life the utmost meaning. Loveth thou me? Joel, thou son of Omamadaga, do you love me? Big question. He asked it three times. Until you answer that question you have a long way to go. Do I really love him or do I just love what He does? Please answer that question within you. “Lord see that I don’t leave this village the way I met it” Is an expression of love. Church Gist. How can a village like this not have your name in this place? Kilode? What is your problem? Love is my problem. You can’t be in love and be lost, you will be found. I have found David my lover, he was in the forest but I have found him. You can’t be truly in love and be lost. You can’t be in love and be lost in the radar. 2 Chronicles 16:9. It is not the city where you live, it is where your heart is. That village is not on the map up till now. I was 19 years old then. It is not that you are in White House or Green House. A heart for God is all it takes to give anyone’s life the utmost meaning. Every true lover emerges more than a conqueror. Romans 8:35-39.
Talking about breakthroughs, the love of God is the mystery behind access to a world of unlimited breakthroughs. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Love is a choice, love is not a gift. Love is not a calling. Love is a choice. I love you more than anything, I love you more than anyone. I give my life to you. I love Him more than I love myself and He knows. The devil also knows and he keeps showing it that it is true. I love Him more than I love my wife, I have only one. I love Him more than I love my children. God first, every other thing lines up behind. You can’t make God first and be last. Am I last in ministry? Church Gist. Your skill is limited. Your strength is limited. There is no way your skill can take you to where God can take you with His everlasting arm. When He picks you from any end, He throws you up to His everlasting heights. Please choose to love Him, it is the wisest choice to make in all the earth.
I was before the Lord and I said why is breakthrough so far fetched from so many people. “They are following me for breakthroughs, not for Me.” Follow them that teach you the Word of God, watch the result that they get, if you like the result then follow the steps. Hebrews 13:7. There is nothing I taught that does not work. 1 Corinthians 13:2. Faith won’t deliver beyond your love. Your faith will only deliver to the limit of your love. Faith works by love. Galatians 5:6. Giving works by love, stewardship works by love. Church Gist. Everything that works in the Kingdom works by love. Please choose to love Him. Stop counting experience. Do you think Judas loved Jesus? He was communicating with Him everyday. Proximity extraordinary. Can you sell somebody that you love? Love believes all things. Judas didn’t believe anything, Thomas didn’t believe anything and He was on that team. They lived in the same dormitory. It is a choice to make. Every child of God has the fruit of the spirit of love in them. If He chooses to. Your days of struggles are over and they are over forever.
Now watch, for quite a number of people things were going well for them for a season and suddenly things changed. You think God changed? No! They changed. Solomon loved the Lord and God just turned things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard to happen in His life. Then he switched over, Solomon loved many strange women, and things went downwards and downwards for life. He never recovered himself. They turned his heart from God and Solomon’s abundance became lack and his peace became trouble. Please love Him and believe God to sustain your love for Him. It is the key to everything you are looking for. You can access more revelation than you love Him. It is your love and my love for Him that determines how much He can confide in us the secrets of the Kingdom. John 15:15. When you are in love, you gain access to all realms of revelation. It is not enough to be in love once. Church Gist. “I was on campus and I was on fire for Jesus.” Good history. Are you now on ice for Jesus? Ice cold. Are you still on fire for Jesus? “I was the leader in our fellowship.” Wonderful history. After you have made your choice, He can now empower you to stay in love. They call it the spirit of love, it thrives on your choice. Your choice first, the spirit of love when you demand for it engraces you to stay on your choice.
I preached my first message in 1970. I started seeing people saved since that happened. By His grace, I am still on my feet and that is open to every believer who cares to stay in love. Church Gist. So it is not important to be in love, it is important to stay in love for you to keep enjoying sweatless and stress-free order of breakthrough in life. It is your turn.
Every true lover serves the interest of the one he loves. 1 Samuel 13:14. Psalm 89:20. A heart for God enables you or empowers you to serve Him. Serving the interest of the one you love is natural. You can serve Him without loving Him but you can’t love Him without serving Him. You can serve Him for what you want. For what you are looking for, what you are lusting after. I need this position in my company, I bind everybody in the name of Jesus. You can serve Him without loving Him but you can’t love Him without serving Him. You can’t be His friend and not be His servant. Psalm 105:24. I can as well stop here. This is the mystery behind my simple mysterious life. I just love Jesus with all my being, with everything inside me, by choice and by supply of His grace. Choice first. Your choice first. There is nothing I am by grace or have by grace that God can not demand for without a second thought and I have never lost out. I have come to you this morning as a prophet, I am not a teacher this morning. I am trying to show you the way to what you are looking for. Have I ever prayed for a car? No! For a plane? For what? What will I do with it? I got to a place, they introduced me and I won’t go there again. The introduction was too much. I am not the one they are talking about. Just love Him, leave Him to take you wherever He wants. It is not being a dummy, it is the key to your dominion. Just love Him. Make that choice today from the depth of your heart and you have your breakthrough, we can close. One cannot love God and not serve Him with delight. One may serve God without loving Him but one cannot love God without serving Him. One may serve God for what He wants from God, but you can’t love Him without serving Him. For everyone that choose to love God with all his heart, all his soul, all his strength, by this anointing today the spirit of love will come upon your life and keep you panting after God all your days.
Platforms for Kingdom Advancement Stewardships:
1. Kingdom Advancement prayers
We had outreaches these last two Saturdays and you are not out for whatever reason in terms of your job schedule, or your mobility. Anybody that can eat can pray. If you love God, then pray that everyone out this week must return with harvest. “Go before your army today and do what you have never done. Grant every soul winner today utterance that will bring conviction and lead to conversion.” Church Gist. God who sees your labour in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6. Engage the platform of fasting and prayer to secure the salvation of souls into the Kingdom. Matthew 6:9-10. 1 Timothy 2:4. He wants all men saved and brought into Church for covering against going back to the sea of sin. Matthew 6:17-18.
2. Targeting your friends through the testimonies of the Lord both in your life and from the Church.
A friend is someone who confides in you. Somebody close to you, he even asks counsel from you. What an opportunity. Mark 5:19. Use the remaining days of this month to target your friends. Believe God for wisdom of approach that won’t put them off and corner them in truth to the Kingdom. “My friend, if I don’t tell you this I won’t be a friend indeed. Something changed in my life at some point. Church Gist. Jesus brought about that change. I just stepped into the realm of peace and joy, I never knew possible.” He knows that every time he is around you, you are charming, not that you look sorrowful and you say you have joy. “I used to be sickly, Jesus stepped in and changed my story. I used to live in fear, He cleared the fear off my life because light will never be afraid of darkness. It is darkness that fears light. I like you to please understand this, the world is wicked. The wickedness of darkness but Jesus is the light of the world.” If you see he is getting a bit jittery, we will talk about that later. You hit him the second time later. A fisherman must be wise. You get anyone close to you to Jesus with ease. Let your love for God be your driving force. All these ephemeral things are temporal. Your friends are your responsibility for salvation. Your acquaintances are your responsibility for salvation. Take that responsibility in love. Daniel 12:3.
There was an announcement made today. Life testimonies are more touching than written testimonies. Share your testimony openly. Some have never shared testimony so they don’t have anymore. They have never, everything looks small to them. I was testifying that can you imagine Jesus? He is blessing me with ₦1000 every week. What an awesome God. This God, another one no dey. In 1986 I gave testimony of a blessing of ₦600. Some have seen ₦10,000 after not seeing ₦1 for six months and they can’t testify. How can I say I saw ₦10,000, some are testifying of one billion. Church Gist. There is nowhere I have gone to minister that they don’t hear that Jesus healed me from tuberculosis. Everybody in this environment has heard it before. Mark 8:38. Share your testimony. Not online when you are on ground. Share your testimony. A time will come even when they don’t call you, you go out. They say why? You say I must share this testimony today. You push CCU somewhere, I must share this testimony today. I said Jesus delivered me from death and you didn’t call me, okay I call myself. You never hear me preach a message without sharing a testimony either of what God is doing in my life or what God did in someone else’s life. Church Gist. Be testimony fired, you know what happens? It is multiplied and it is preserved. Psalm 119:46. There are many sceptics in the world, when we read they will say they are reading. Come and share your testimony. It will stick. For our stewardship to be acceptable, we must serve God unashamedly. What they say or what they don’t say does not bother you. Romans 1:16.
We must serve God sacrificially. The altar of sacrifice is the altar of turnaround. Go beyond your best in your love for God to fulfil His purpose. Psalm 126:1. It happened on the altar of sacrifice. Psalm 126:6. It was on the altar of sacrifice that Abraham secured the generations after him. Church Gist. Genesis 22:16-18. It is happening today. That happened on the altar of sacrifice. May you receive grace to go beyond your best into the realm of sacrifice in serving your God by reason of your love for Him.
Among the capital returns of serving God is:
1. Divine presence
Nothing compares in value with that. If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31. Church Gist. Matthew 28:20. Mark 16:20. Divine presence is the capital return from serving God.
2. It is also the platform for the rise of giants. Daniel 12:3.
3. A good old age.
Before Jesus returns if He tarries, we will be having men and women in their 100s of age in this Church. I guess that is why God is putting all those elevators in the ark. They don’t need to step anything, they just move up. There are lifts for you to walk in and go to any floor you are going to. You know God always sees ahead of us. In the entire world, there is no facility under heaven that has such level of mechanical means of going up. There is no such. At no debt, at no bank overdraft, at no “We are going to pay you tomorrow”. They have all arrived, not that they are at the port and they are clearing them. Church Gist. They have all arrived. Because someday you will be 110. There are a thousand toilets there that provide access for you within five minutes to go and come back to your seat. God is looking after you because of what He has in mind. You will testify. Some fellows will come up here and say, I thank God today I am 110 because I was in that service. There is nothing you and I will ever need that is not in being in love with God. Everything is inside.
It is our Covenant Day of Business Breakthroughs. Daniel 11:32. The anchor of the covenant of breakthrough is being in love with God. That is the anchor that launches you and I to the realm that eyes have not seen nor ears heard. Stay in love with God. Don’t let the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke your walk with God. Don’t watch your life dry up. Very few sustain their breakthrough for long. Solomon had such a global breakthrough but He couldn’t sustain it. Of all the kings in Israel, only Solomon had no counsellor. Stagnant water stinks. Solomon had no counsellor, otherwise after the first ten wives won’t they talk to him? Nobody talked to Solomon. There was no prophet that appeared to Solomon. “Who is that one? I am the wisest man, God gave me wisdom. Who is that prophet.” Nobody spoke to Solomon’s life till he messed up. Church Gist. For a man to wake up and marry 700 wives, he must be possessed with all the demons from hell. He was possessed with all the demons of sexual perversion. Nobody could say restore. Nobody spoke to him, “Sir, you are not all wise.” Nobody is all wise. I am still learning. David, his father, had two principal counsellors. It was his counsellor that bailed him out of being killed by Absalom. Take counsel from right people, from right sources. Counsel that emanate from scriptures. You will endure. How the wisest man became the dumbest dummy. “Everything is vanity. Vanity upon vanity. There is no difference between wisdom and foolishness, they all die at the same time and they are forgotten. Any god you serve is good, so I am going to serve the shrines of my wives.” He just became a dummy overnight and war came up. He fought battles till the day of His death. You won’t get there. May you be open to the counsel of the Lord at all times. Where your love for God stops is where your breakthrough stops and there your struggles begin. Don’t wait for that. We serve a covenant keeping God, He won’t break His covenant for anybody. Psalm 89:34.
Those who despise biblical covenants usually end up as mockeries. They make noise for a while and soon they are lost in the radar. They can’t see them anywhere. Lost! “You see the way the business is expanding, going to Church every Sunday is going to be an aberration. It will tamper with my schedule. But my wife is there anyway. My wife and my children are there. They can be following God, when they see my kind of breakthrough they will also stop.” Just watch first. I have seen some kind of breakthrough, is it true? Have I seen breakthrough? Church Gist. It is your heart for God that determines your walk with Him. It is not breakthrough. You didn’t have a heart for God in the first instance. If you had it before you got the breakthrough, you have lost it in the process. You won’t lose it. God’s people will continue to struggle without a revelation of the coevnant that secures their change of story. You won’t suffer strufgles. Isaiah 5:13.
Seven Covenant Terms for Supernatural Breakthroughs.
1. Be born again.
We saw how Peter willingly gave his boat, he let Jesus into his boat and that became the trigger for his supernatural breakthrough. Luke 5:1-3. Jesus is knocking on your door, “Allow me into your boat, let me change your story.” Breakthrough begins with new birth. Church Gist. Not new birth identity, new birth experience. Are you born again? I am a Winner. I am saying are you born again? Revelation 3:20. Without Jesus in your boat, the storms of life are waiting. You won’t drown.
2. Be committed to serving God and the interests of His Kingdom.
Just like Peter waited on Christ till He was done with preaching. Luke 5:3-5.
3. Be committed to obeying the instruction of scriptures with delight just like Peter obeyed the instruction to let down his net and it resulted in a net breaking and boat sinking order of breakthrough.
Enjoy instructions. That is your life. Let what God commands have a hold on your life, let what God commands have a hold on your life. Church Gist. Luke 5:5. That will be your experience from now.
We took those three breakthrough pillars from Peter’s experience in Luke 5:1-5.
4. Be diligent because only hard workers become high flyers.
There is no place for the idle in the Kingdom. Be diligent. I have my business. Is that why you are sleeping till 12 noon? Proverbs 22:29. Be accountable my friend. Church Gist. At the beginning of this ministry we had a global structure for a ministry that has no shape. We had an executive council. Be diligent.
5. Be faithful because only the faithful can be fruitful.
Don’t cut corners. Genesis 14:23. Don’t go the way of the world unless you suffer what they suffer. Don’t play games, don’t play pranks. Church Gist. Proverbs 28:20. Unfaithfulness today will show tomorrow in failure. God forbid.
6. Be committed to the covenant of seedtime and harvest as a lifestyle because no one lacks what he gives people only lack what they keep. Proverbs 11:25. The secret of Job’s rise in business was his giving life. He was eyes to the blind, he was feet to the lame and he plucked out the helpless from the mouth of the one who wants to devour them. Church Gist. He was all out distributing grace with discretion. He became the greatest man in all of the east. We are blessed primarily to be a blessing, when you stop being a blessing the blessing stops. Be committed to the covenant of seedtime and harvest as a lifestyle.
7. Be committed to a lifestyle of thanksgiving.
1 Thessalonians 5:18. Ephesians 5:20. Every breakthrough you see, give thanks. When a breakthrough is still on its way coming, give God thanks. So as to preserve the blessings, multiply the blessings and perfect the blessings. By today’s anointing, believe God for grace to stay in active service as a proof of your love. God will go before you and make the crooked paths straight. Church Gist. Things will be turning beyond your imagination. Isaiah 45:1-3. Today every barrier on your path between you and God shall be cleared off and you find yourself soaring instead of struggling. You are scaling new heights. No one among us shall drop. You won’t tell the story of when you used to have breakthroughs in your life. It shall be sustained to the end.
