Lift up your hands and give Him the praise.
Father thank You for removing and retrieving these arrows of disease. Thank You Father for destroying the power of death, this evil garment of disfavour that You are removing. Thank You for this gift packaged for this season that You have released.
- There are deep encounters, deep visitation, deep deliverances from family root. The breaking of prisons and cages.
- There is a retrieval of arrow of diseases and premature death. The graves are been closed and the skeletons and death spirits are returning back to hell!
- Evil garments of disfavour and rejection in this season, they are been set on fire!
- Receive your encounter, healing, deliverance, breakthrough, Impartation, receive the release of fire. Church Gist. That blankets of discouragement, depression, hopelessness are been set on fire right now!
- I see strange personalities leaving; spirit wife, spirit husband, unclean spirits, spirits of disfavour and rejection. I see them leaving now!
- I prophesy to somebody here, everything that is yours; generational wealth, relevance, increase, creative miracles that you need in every department of your life; they are released now!
Lift your hands and say;
“In the name of Jesus, what the Master has for me today, I receive my portion now in the name of Jesus.”
- What pertains to you in this December, 2021; no devil shall cross it into 2022!
- Breakthroughs, testimonies that belong to 2021 must happen in 2021 in the name of Jesus!
- This week, between now and coming Sunday, God will exceed your expectations. He is going to take you by suprise in ways that will shock and amaze you!
- The spirit of delay just got arrested. Testimonies you’ve been expecting from the beginning of the year; I announce today, that spirit of delay is arrested and what is yours is released!

Habakkuk 3:17-19
I bring you greetings from Oju Local Government, Benue State.
“THE LIFTING POWER OF PRAISE”
Our objective is to understand the lifting power of praise. It is made abundantly clear that throughout scripture, Praise is a supernatural lifter of man. I heard from God’s servant, Bishop David Abioye sometimes back that praise is the power to be raised. Church Gist. Even if everything was not working, Habakkuk said, yet I will rejoice. Once I rejoice, God will guard my feet with strength and I will walk upon my high places, not low places.
High praises is the doorway to the high places of life. You are not permitted to remain in the low places, you are not permitted to remain grounded if you are not devoid of praise. David was a man that was unusually lifted. The 8th child of his family where he was abandoned, rejected by his mother and father according to Psalm 27:10. Abandoned by his brothers and sisters in the bush to keep the flock. Nobody cares but he was a worshipper, he was a praiser. He didn’t only leave the back to the front; he left the pit to the top. If the devil cannot stop you from praising God, the devil cannot stop you from going up.
If you are to ask me what is one of my secrets of life and destiny and ministry and assignment, I will tell you; ceaseless, effortless, unprovoked praise and worship. You don’t need to wait for anything to happen to praise. Church Gist. You are just in the praise mode, in the worship mode permanently.
- I prophesy to someone here, this morning and at the end of this service; you are going up to your high places in the name of Jesus Christ!
David went up by the power of praise.
WHAT IS THE LIFTING POWER OF PRAISE?
1). Praise releases supernatural strength for supernatural strides and lifts (Habakkuk. 3:19). Weak people don’t fly high, they don’t go high. Church Gist. People who climb mountains, they walk with strength and terminal and energy. Church Gist. The joy of the Lord remains your strength, so when you praise God, you access supernatural strength and when you have supernatural strength, your rise is inevitable. Your rise is unstoppable.
- I declare your lifting and your shifting, no devil, no witchcraft can stop it!
2). Praise releases the mantle and the unction for royalty (Genesis 29:35, Genesis 49:10).
The rulership tribe of Israel is the tribe of Judah. David was of the tribe of Judah and Solomon was of the tribe of Judah and Hezekiah was of the tribe of Judah. Any king that was a relevant king in Israel was from the tribe of Judah. The tribe of Judah is the tribe of praise, the sceptre cannot depart from Judah. Church Gist. The meaning of that is; for as long as praise is on ground, royalty and rulership are inevitable. Your royalty, your kingship, no devil can stop it. If you know how to praise God and worship God, you are either a king currently or a king in the making.
- As we celebrate God this morning, I see kings and queens rising out of this Assembly!
- People that will occupy several realms of influence and take charge and be in charge of realms and domains, they are here this morning!
- Praise releases divine favour and divine favour is responsible for divine lifting (Acts 2:47). When you praise God, you have favour. (Genesis 39:21-22). Can you imagine a man who was sent into the prison as a prisoner becoming the controller of prison? Church Gist. Controller of prison is a rank in the Nigeria Prison Service and now, they said you are no longer a prisoner but in charge, you are the controller of the prison. Everything that is happening in the prison is happening by your frequency. So, a prisoner can become a prison warden by the power of favour.
Esther 2:15-16
You cannot praise God and not have favour and you cannot be favoured and not be lifted.
- This morning, favour is coming for somebody!
4). Praise delivers from depression; the garment of praise is the cure for the spirit of depression (Isaiah 61:3). When you put on the garment of praise, you are delivered from the spirit of heaviness and depression because whenever you are weighed down, you are tied down. Nothing can lift a man that is weighed down (Psalm 42:5, Psalm 42:11).
When you praise God, you are delivered from the spirit of depression and once you step out of depression, the next thing left for you is elevation. You know depression is down there, the mountain is elevation. As it is in geography, so it is in spirituality. Church Gist. When you leave the pit, the next place is the top. So many people are wondering why they are not lifted or promoted, it is because you are too weighed down to be lifted up.
Whatever weighs you down, slow you down. To be weighed down is to be slowed down; to be weighed down is to be tied down and kept down.
5). Praise is a trigger for the anointing and the anointing is key to lifting (Psalm 45:7). Gladness releases the oil that produces the lift. Church Gist. Your attitude at the climate of gladness will produce for you an oil that will take you above your fellows.
Psalm 92:1-3, 10
If I praise God well; I receive the anointing, the authority and the lifting. That is why praisers are highly oiled. Worshippers are heavily anointed and they are heavily lifted, lifted to the annoyance of demons and witches.
Praise God and you will receive supernatural strength that will cause your liftings.
KEYS TO THE LIFTING POWER OF PRAISE:
1). Praise and worship God as a matter of life assignment. If you want to see the lifting power of praise, you must praise and worship God as a matter of life assignment. That is, this thing is not what I do because I’m in church or I feel happy (Isaiah 43:21, Psalm 102:16-18). The people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. They were not created just to move about decorating themselves.
Whenever you wake up on your bed in the morning and you did not wake up in the hospital or mental asylum, open your mouth and praise the Lord. When you fulfil your assignment you are qualified for your consignment. Church Gist. There is a package for living, if you can fulfill your assignment, you will not beg for your consignment and upliftment. I’ve never had a prayer request for money, car or house in twenty something years of ministry. It is not part of the prayer request.
2). Praise and worship God for Who He is and not just for what He does (Exodus 15:11). Let your praise be centered on His person, not just His products. Let your praise seek His face and not just His hand. Celebrate His Almightiness and you will see His faithfulness. Let us not be a generation of people who are permanently looking for things.
How insulting it will be for my wife to approach me and say, I want to thank you and to let you know that I like you because you helped me. You assisted me to get this or that, that’s the only reason why I like you. No wife will tell the husband like that. Church Gist. That is how God feels when we approach only because of problems. We don’t value Him other than the fact that, “God I need a car or a house.” He is saying, “I am not a God to be used, I am a God to be praised and worshipped.”
If God does not know your voice of worship in peace time, He will never hear your voice of worry in war time. If God is not familiar with your voice of worship in times of peace, He will never respond to your voice of worry in times of trouble. There are people, the only time they have to speak to God is when they are worried and troubled about something. Relationship must precede request. When you ask somebody to do you a favour and the person does not know you from anywhere, that is called begging. Church Gist. There is a difference between praying and begging. Praying is talking to someone you have a relationship with. Begging is asking for favour from someone you have no relationship with. Some people meet me and say, “I am a pastor of so and so ministry And I have come to see you. So, please I want you to come and preach in our next year convention.” I am seeing you for the first time, where do I know you from? You are inviting me to come and stand and preach. Who are you, what is your source, what are your roots? Don’t make request from anybody you have not established a relationship with. Relationship always precede request. That makes it honourable.
If my wife or children or people I know are asking things from me, it is not strange to me. If I’m meeting you for the first time and you are putting me under pressure for things, it is challenging. I’ll like us to take that approach to God. Let your relationship with God be buoyant and your request from Him will be vibrant. In fact, before you ask, He will know. How many of you know that when you have close relationship with people, you know their needs even before they ask? One day I told my wife; “this clothe must disappear now. The clothe she likes to wear in the night. I said, disappear it. Either I burn it or I burry it or something but this clothe must disappear immediately”. I’ve done so to my children too; “this one must disappear now!”
Isaiah 65:24-25. God is saying I want you to worship me and praise me for me. Before you ask for anything, let us know eachother. Because you know that I am God and you value me and you respect me. When you come to such a level with God, then you don’t beg for things.
3). Praise and worship God in the clearness of conscience. Let nothing come between your God and your praise (Psalm 29:2). You don’t annoy God and praise Him at the same time. Let our worship and our character merge; let there be a merging. Church Gist. Let your character become your praise (Matthew 5:16). Your character is a department of your worship, where people look at you and they want to follow you to church.
- It is a new day for somebody!
