By divine instruction, we will be running through Covenant Days of Favour for this month and every air of misfortune shall be over forever. Church Gist. Every siege of misfortune shall be over forever in every family, every life, every business, over forever in all our children. Favour will become our identity.
Lift your two hands and ask God for an encounter. One genuine encounter is worth a lifetime of effort. The Lord sent a word onto Jacob and it turned his life supernaturally around. Church Gist. Father send each one a word today, let it spark off a turnaround in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray that everyone will come on course today with your word, let it rewrite everyone’s story.
GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL FORTUNE 2
God has an agenda of financial fortune for His people. He also has laid up conditions to be met to access it. There is no provision in the Kingdom without conditions to meet for delivery. Even salvation, the free gift of God, requires repentance, not just confession. Confession equals zero without repentance. On the day of Pentecost, men and brethren, what shall we do? Repent! Not confess, repent first. Many claim to be saved but they didn’t repent. Their salvation has no foundation so the old life continues. Church Gist. Repent and then you will be saved. My wife met someone during her outreach on Friday, he said she should “please greet Papa. I was a hired assassin and armed robber but I met him and Jesus changed my life, I am now an evangelist”. Repentance! Let’s stop playing games, it is never late to be right. Salvation is fake without repentance. 🎶The things I used to do, I do them no more. There is a great change since I met the Lord. The places I used to go, I go there no more. There is a great change since I met the Lord. The things I used to drink, I drink them no more. Church Gist. There is a great change since I met the Lord. The things I used to smoke, I smoke them no more. There is a great change since I met the Lord.🎶 we can even close the service here. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, all things have become new. In the precious name of Jesus, everyone hanging on the line and not here or there may today be your day of recovery.
Take note of the following as we go on:
1. The Bible is a manual for profitable living, not a history book.
It is a manual. You buy a piece of equipment, you have a manual put in it to help you maximize the output of that equipment. The Bible is the creator’s manual for our profitable living. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Church Gist. So we draw profit from His reproofs, from His corrections and instructions that a man of God may be perfect. Hebrews 4:2. The Bible is not a history book but the creator’s manual for our profitable living.
2. Interestingly, the Bible is a manual that covers all aspects of life.
Acts 5:20. Every aspect of life is covered by the Word. 2 Peter 1:3. Church Gist. The Bible is the most current text on all issues of life. The most current, the most reliable and the most dependable text on all aspects of life.
3. The Bible is not just a religious book, it is a manual for maximized destiny.
Deuteronomy 28:1.
I will set you on high above all the nations of the earth, whether they be products of Harvard, Yale or Princeton, above all nations of the earth. All these blessings will come to you and overtake you. Deuteronomy 28:1-13. All that are products of aligning with the manual – The Bible. In 1984, the Lord said to me from Deuteronomy 28:1, “I have a place for you on top if you are interested” I said I am interested, He said, “whatever I tell you to do, do it”. That’s simple, what I want you to do is here, just keep doing it. In 1984, in the month of April. Church Gist. I saw myself on top of the world by following whatever he says. Forever, you can’t write the history of the Church of Christ in the world without referencing this Church. It is impossible. It covers all aspects of life. Suddenly it popped up, the richest pastor in the world in a depressed economy. It works under all circumstances. Wake up.
4. The Bible is not a mystical book to be conjured.
Be reading Psalms to fight somebody. It is a practical book to be applied. It is not a mystical book to be conjured. Church Gist. When you want to call somebody, you go and read the book of Job. It is a practical book to be applied. Joshua 1:8. It is a book to be applied.
5. The covenant of scriptures delivers under all circumstances, equal or unequal.
That is why the truth of scripture beats every other form of knowledge. Every other form of knowledge requires certain conditions to be equal before they can deliver. They require certain conditions to be on key in line before they can deliver. The covenant of scripture delivers under all circumstances, equal or unequal. A biting economy cannot bring down a covenant practitioner. A dead economy can not kill the financial fortune of a covenant practitioner. That is why it hasn’t affected your church forever in 42 years. You are not down because the economy is down, you are down because you have not aligned with the demands of the covenant of scripture. Church Gist. You get on key with it, it bows to you. Money failed back in Genesis so it is not new yet God’s people multiplied exceedingly in the midst of money failure (Genesis 47:15-27), how? The covenant has no respect for unequal circumstances. Jeremiah 33:20-22. Therefore rejoice and be glad, no matter the heat in the world, it is not permitted to affect you if you will take a strong stand in the covenant in season and out of season. You can’t be affected.
Serving God and the interest of His Kingdom with one’s God given financial resources is gateway to a world of financial fortune for any believer in season and out of season. Psalm 35:27. Psalm 37:18-19. Thank you Jesus. Forever, in season and out of season. Forever! Malachi 3:18 – 4:1-2. In the days of burning down you are growing up.
If you don’t believe anybody’s testimony believe the testimony of your Church. We have never gone down once. Financially, we have never done down once. We have never borrowed once yet things are going on every day and every time. Church Gist. Don’t mistake it for the crowd or people, before there was a crowd we didn’t borrow. Do you know where the crowd started from? From 4 people then to 6, then to 12 and then to 21. When we clocked 90, we ordained seven deacons to celebrate it. We didn’t borrow.
Interestingly, God will only entrust true riches into the hands of those He can trust to use such wealth for his purpose. God’s riches are not free, it is an entrustment. Can you be trusted? Can I be trusted? God will only allow you to access the level to which He can trust you with, so you don’t fall away. There is nothing anybody gathers through scheming that has a future. When it comes by the blessing of the Lord. It makes rich and adds no sorrow. It has no reversal. True riches cannot be reversed by anybody’s wickedness. That is the kind of riches you are entering into. Irreversible wealth that will be speaking in your generations after you. Luke 11:16. On what basis is He trusting us? Matthew 28:2. Church Gist. Do you know how many people can build rural churches here in this church? As of now maybe 60 per cent. How many will care to build? Maybe 10 per cent. That is how much you can be trusted. A day is coming when one person will put up a kind of building like this among us in one nation or another because he can be trusted with it. “Bless me first and you will see” God says I don’t need to bless you first, I know you and I know what you will do. He doesn’t need anybody to tell him about anybody else. May each one be found worthy of the true riches.
Very importantly, we must recognize that our giving is not a financial formation. Whether you give to the Lord, give to the poor, give to the needs of mankind, every giving is a spiritual transaction that releases heavenly order of blessings over our lives. Watch for illustration. Noah reared an altar of sacrifice and God smelled a sweet savour. You know heaven is His throne. For God to smell it, it means the smoke entered heaven and God smelled it. Abraham offered Isaac on Mount Moriah and God sounded from heaven, “now I know that you fear me”. Solomon reared an altar of sacrifice in 1 Kings 3 and God came down that night, Solomon what do you want? The smoke of your sacrifice has filled my throne. Church Gist. Every giving is a spiritual transaction that provoked the release of heavenly order of blessings on God’s people. Proverbs 19:17. If you give to the needy, you are lending to the Lord. Psalm 41:1-3. Every giving, giving to parents – the first commandment of the law. That it may be well with you, that it may prolong your days on the earth. Every giving based on the truth of scripture is a spiritual transaction that provokes the release of heavenly order of blessings on our lives, not a donation. Philippians 4:15-19.
What is a covenant? Because we are empowered for wealth on the platform of the covenant. In our context, a covenant is an agreement between God and man where God is committed to making good His promise when man’s obedience is fully in place. Deuteronomy 8:18. Just line up with the terms, you have committed God’s integrity to empower you. Knowing the purpose of that wealth and keeping to the purpose of that wealth, it will keep increasing and multiplying. That is where I met God that launched me into my own realm of financial fortune in 1982, March 22. “My son David, my financial plan is not a promise, it doesn’t answer to prayers. It is not a promise, it has no respect for fasting. Church Gist. It is a covenant, until your part is played, I am not committed”. I asked the Lord what is my part? Seed time and harvest, giving and receiving and on and on. So stop wasting energy on the prayer altar, it doesn’t answer to it.
Interestingly the covenant of financial prosperity is superior to all prevailing economic circumstances. Genesis 47:15-27.
Covenant channels of financial fortune include:
1. Commitment and benefits of giving to the poor.
He that gives to the poor shall not lack. Proverbs 28:27. Giving to the poor guarantees continuous supply and having our needs met supernaturally. Church Gist. You are not just meeting the needs of the needy, you are meeting your own needs in return. Psalm 41:1-3. For considering the poor, get excited. It is far beyond financial returns, it secures destiny.
2. Commitment to giving to parents.
It provokes patriarchal blessings.
Patriarchal blessings cause men to prevail. Talking about Joseph, the Bible said the blessings of your father have caused you to prevail above your progenitors. Patriarchal blessings cause men to prevail. Young people hear me: Caution! He that curses his father and mother, his light shall be put out in obscure darkness. A disregard for parental seed brings people into darkness. Growing up by divine grace not that I knew much of scriptures, I did my grandmother some honour and she said “you did this for me?” I said Yes mama. “You shall be great”. I was 20 years old so it is not a yesterday affair. I was 20 years old. When my wife’s health was challenged, my mother said “Lord let me die in her place”. Church Gist. You better wake up. All this guy you are doing around town has no future. My father-in-law said when it was time to buy a vehicle for parents, you bought one for us. When it was time to build a house for parents, you built one for us. Whatever they give in your own time, your children will give to you. If they buy planes for parents, they will buy for you”. Church Gist. Do you want that kind of blessing? They are provoked by genuine covenant care. That’s life. I have been sending things home since #5. Wake up. They don’t need to need it, you need it. You need the blessings that it may be well with you, that you may prolong your days on the earth. Do you know how important that was? When my old man was going. I told my wife, I need to go because Baba is about to go. I collected the last moment blessing. When my father-in-law was about to go, I said I need to go today. It was a Saturday, I don’t go out on Saturdays. I went on Saturday, he left the following week. You better wake up. I am a bundle of blessings, divine blessings plus patriarchal blessings. I have the blessings of the womb and the blessings of the breasts. All these young people that they are carrying you on the back as an adult, what for? After Isaac was given the venison that he loved, he poured his heart out, blessings upon Jacob. By mistake, you can now tell when blessings come on you directly by right. A nation came out of that blessing. Somebody’s story is changing.
3. Commitment to kingdom advancement sacrifices.
The core purpose for kingdom wealth, the core of the core. God’s prosperity is ordained for the shaking of the nations through the gospel of Christ. Haggai 2:7-9. Malachi 3:17-18. So those who are serving God with their financial resources are God’s priority for His end time silver and gold. Zechariah 1:17. Church Gist. I know shortly, we will have people in this Church who will be standing up “Well are we building Churches in Niger Republic? Yeah, we are building some. Our family will build 4. Our family will build 5”. Be dreaming such dreams, that is how to get there. Not just to accumulate and become a threat to yourself. You don’t need that.
Sacrificial giving among others procures fearful favour from God as in the case of Solomon. What do you want? God just help me to please you in administering this great nation over which you have made me king. The saying pleased the Lord. You mean my kingdom is your priority? Okay! I will give you wisdom. The things you have not asked I have also given to you, both riches and honour and no one in your days and after will match you. 1 Kings 3:3-13. So when God’s kingdom is uppermost of our hearts, he lavishes favour on us in return. Church Gist. That shall be our portion. We saw him walking on that path, 120,000 sheep as sacrifice to God. The Queen of Sheba said her spirit left her because half was not told her in her country of the glory of Solomon. Unusual wealth which was an addition, he didn’t ask for it. Check this church for instance. We have never stood one day to pray about money in 42 years. Oh God remember… He didn’t tell you He forgot. It is the blessings of God that maketh rich not the groaning of men. You are entering into that realm.
Among others, the altar of sacrifice averts curses. No curse can survive where God’s blessings abide. The curse on earth was averted in response to Noah’s sacrifice. Genesis 8:20-21. Church Gist. It averts curses. It stops plagues. Genesis 24:24-25. It triggers a turnaround (Psalm 126:1-6). It confers generational blessings like we saw in the life of Abraham. Genesis 12:3. It was an answer from the altar of sacrifice. Expect that in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Today being our Covenant Day of Favour listen to this, 100 years of labour will never compare in value with one day of favour from God. Your days of struggling for survival are over. When favour hits, it shows. They laboured for 430 years as fetchers of water and hewers of wood, wearing rags, being afflicted by taskmasters but God gave them favour one day. They became carriers of gold. In the name of Jesus, your long awaited day of favour is finally here. I will give this people favour, He did. They shall not go empty, He did and in Exodus 12:36, He gave them favour. Church Gist. They stripped the Egyptians naked. That was after 430 years. One day of favour overturned 430 years of plague. Never mind where you are coming from, a new day dawns on your life. We don’t wait for favour. Favour has to be entreated or provoked. Psalm 45:12. Favour has to be entreated or provoked. Good understanding procures favour but the way of the ignorant is hard. Proverbs 13:15. You don’t wait for favour or you may begin to struggle under misfortune, you provoke favour. There is what you do to trigger favour.
The following are some of the things you do to provoke favour from God:
1. Be born again.
Every child of God is a product of grace, grace means ‘divine favour’. Psalm 5:12. New birth entitles everyone to God’s favour. Church Gist. That is the foundation, we need to get born again to enjoy the favour of God. That is where the journey begins.
2. No one with a heart truly panting after God and the interests of His kingdom ever runs out of favour God.
Psalm 102:13-15. Fearful favour always attends to men whose hearts are truly panting after God and the interests of His kingdom. Church Gist. Matthew 6:33. All these things that others are dying to get shall be added to you for free – favour!
3. Staying in love with God entitles believers to the continuous flow of favour.
1 Samuel 13:14 – David a man with a heart for God, 1 Chronicles 28:4 -God liked me to make me king among all my brethren. God liked him. You can’t miss out on favour when you have a heart for God. A heart for God entitles you and I to continuous favour with God. Church Gist. He loves everybody but He just likes some people. May you join the company that God likes. 1 Chronicles 28:4.
4. Walking in obedience to divine instructions unleashes divine favour on believers.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Just walk in obedience. John 14:21. I will show up, I will let you know you are on my side walking in favour with me. Church Gist. Therefore expect to begin to walk in obedience from henceforth as you take a strong stand in this covenant guidelines.
No shortcut, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. You are not a child of circumstance, you are born again to live an overcomer’s life. Celebrate Jesus.
Lift your hand and ask the Lord for the grace that He has placed upon this church to begin to find full expression in your life. I am tired of struggling.
Quickly before we serve the table, Operation Hit Your Target is a divine instruction to look just around you and you find those you have never spoken to because perhaps they are there (down) while you are here (up). Every soul belongs to God. The souls of your gardeners, your security men, your domestic staff, your barbers, your drivers, your hairdressers, your technicians who maintain your home, plumbers, generator repairers, every soul. They are just hanging around you. They caught the fish where they were. They didn’t have to travel. Scroll down your phone, check all those calls, they believe in you that is why they are calling you. Share the love of Christ with them. You will be surprised. Most times we tell people who are not saved we are going for outreach and they say “reach me now, I am also ready”. They are ready, call them. Have a little budget to bring them. Express your genuineness of heart to them, you will be glad you did. I asked the Lord what we will do these seven weeks. He told me fresh, I have never heard this in my life, not that I recall. Opportunities once lost can never be regained. Church Gist. Today is the 12th, it won’t come back again. What you do with the good old days you are seeing today determines the future. This operation may never occur for life. It is for a moment. Seize these opportunities. It is knocking on your door, seize it. It is about God’s agenda for now. It is about getting you on the covenant highway of life. We also gave you a paper ‘It Is Foolishness to be Shameful of What is Gainful”. Just tell yourself there is something in here for me. Can I tell you what is in it? The greatest benefit of pursuit after souls is divine presence. Church Gist. Divine presence makes you unbeatable in the battles of life. If God be for us who can be against us. You can’t be on the go for Him with Him going for you and going with you. Matthew 28:20. Divine presence is the capital blessing that follows those who are in pursuit of God and His kingdom. Do you know why I am unbeatable? Divine presence. Don’t touch! You touch you are finished. Divine presence will envelop you when you are genuinely on the go for Jesus. All those who wish me dead are dead. You better move, make this season your season. I am speaking as a father with passion. Don’t play yanga with God. They are just there in your office. My drivers and my partners in my outreach yet we see armed robbers saved, assassins saved. Some people come to you for counsel, show them the one that has all the answers. I have some little insight but Jesus has all the answers. They come to you for help day and night, that is your opportunity, to introduce them to Jesus who will become their source of help. They borrowed money from you and they are running away from you, call them and give them the money. If they stole it from you what can you do? Tell him that the debt is forgiven. What is it? 3000. What will that do for you? By all means. My prayer is that God’s blessing that makes all the difference will keep pursuing after you. You never be defeated in any battle again. The last defeat you suffered is the last you will ever know.
We gave you one Wonders of Divine Opportunities. When that man came and knocked on the door of his beloved, she didn’t open the door and by the time she opened it, it was too late. She was molested, she was assaulted. We were never told that the beloved came back any more. That was the end of it. Watch it, it is your opportunity. Church Gist. Take advantage of it. When you don’t move fast, it goes dead. You strike when the iron is hottest. Scroll down your phones, you will be surprised how many have never heard Jesus from your mouth who are all hanging around you. As they hear it for the first time that Jesus loves them, Jesus sent you to them which is the truth.
Place your right hand over your forehead
– The siege of misfortune is over in your life.
– The siege of ups and downs in your endeavours is finally over.
– The curse of misfortune is finally averted.
– Favour will start trailing you from henceforth.
– As you align with the Word, favour will become your new identity.
– You are stepping out of here into a world of favour.
– As you keep pursuing after God and the interest of His kingdom, fearful favour will begin to define your steps.
– So shall it be.
Bye-bye to misfortune. Bye-bye to ups and downs. Bye-bye to sweating in vain in the name of Jesus. So shall it be. Go in peace.
