Shall we lift our hands to Heaven magnify the King of all Kings, let’s glorify Him no one is like Him forever He is on the throne; He is worthy to be glorified and worthy to be exalted. Mighty God we give you praise and glory in Jesus Most Wonderful name we have given thanks.
In Philippians 1:6.
- Lord, whatever good thing you have started, let it remain perfect. (go ahead and prophesy that).
Ask any medical person, genotype does not change medically; it can’t change till your time on Earth is over. If you are AS it will be AS, if you are SS it will be SS, but Godically it can change. Church Gist. It is medically impossible for genotype to change by any drug or treatment, it’s only God who changes SS to AA (referring to testimony). Luke 18:27. - Anything in your life that people said it’s impossible, in this special service in the name of Jesus being the first Sunday, I declare, God will make it possible!
- Every closed gate will be opened with a testimony!
You will declare, “Lord, whatever men have said is impossible, today if you can turn SS to AA before me with medical proofs, my story will also turn.” Go ahead and prophesy that! - You are returning with testimony!
This month is our month of WONDERS OF HIS WORD. We will be looking at the WORD FOR POSSIBILITIES (PRAISE)-PART 3. Today is the first Sunday and we are praising God.
What is praise? Praise is a token of our gratitude expressed in songs, in dance, for God’s goodness and mercy to us. When praise goes up, God shows up by manifesting. Psalm 22:3. We are created primarily to praise God. Isaiah 43:21. Church Gist. Our God is a God of all possibilities and God and His Word are one; so God’s Word guarantees possibilities because in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word… (John 1:1-3). Everything that exists came out of the Word of God (Hebrews 1:3). God’s Word has power to make all things and it says if you can believe the Word of God, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23; Luke 1:37; Luke 18:27.
- Today, it will never be said anything is impossible in your life.
- Isaiah 46:11. Whatever God has said concerning you and I must come to pass.
- Say, “I have faith, in God and in His Word
Psalm 56:4,10. I am praising God based on His Word; when you have the Word of God and you praise God , you rule your world. Church Gist. The reason many can’t praise God is because they don’t have the Word of God; they’re controlled by feelings and emotions. When you have God’s Word praise just flows.
Psalm 46:4. The river means the Holy Spirit; how do I know? (John 7:38-39). When the Holy Spirit is inside you, the Holy place of the tabernacles-you and I are the tabernacles, remember 2 Corinthians 6:16, if the Holy Spirit flows from your inside as the temple of the living God, and you’re able to have the streams (the streams mean tributaries. Church Gist. The first stream is the Word of God, another stream is hope and the third is faith). It said if you have the streams, any of them and hold on to them, praising God will not be an issue. God is simply saying that if I have the Holy Spirit flowing with joy on my inside, and I am able to lay hold on the Word of God, to praise God will not be an issue. And when I praise God, I’m sure to have my answer.
Ephesians 5:18-20. When the Holy Ghost is on the inside and our faith in the Word of God, and I praise God with that understanding, God is bound to step in. God will manifest in any tight situation when you praise Him with joy on the inside. Praising God with joy in a tight situation comes from the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 2:9-10.
There are forces through which the Holy Spirit raises joy for praise and one of such forces is: Faith in God’s Word. When you have faith in God’s Word you just begin to praise God. Faith is a product of the Word because faith comes by hearing and the Word of God. Let me give you example in the Bible for a better understanding. Church Gist. A man called Abraham did not doubt God but was strong in faith giving glory to God. Romans 4:17-21. At 100, he was supposed to give up; is that true? Now it’s easy to talk now. 100 years old man he was already impotent, his body could not get up. In the natural his case should be closed but this man did not do so. Isaiah 51:2. So if I also do like Abraham, I will get Abraham kind of result. “Who against hope believed in hope,” that is, everything contradicted what God had said. God has told you you are going to be a manager yet they have not promoted you as a clerk. Do you know at that time your faith will shake? You heard God say you will be the manager and then you are still jobless, will you still believe God? He told you you will be a multibillionaire but your account does not have even 10,000, are you sure you will not shake on the inside? You will not come out and change your language? Will you still keep your language? Church Gist. It’s easy to talk tough when things are going well. You will know whether God’s Scripture is inside you when things are going contrary to what God said. I have not changed my language from the days of no dime. I have always talked like this from when there was no 10,000 in our account. I come up on the altar and I say I am one of the richest men on Earth. If you are hearing me now you will be surprised. That time, with one suit, one shoe, the shoe was black, I can give you the mental picture of the shoe. A black suit, I wore the black suit it was my wedding suit, I can tell you the picture of the black suit with three buttons. And I know the black shoe was like safety boot, but I didn’t change my language in fact, I am more polished now. If you met me 1997-1999, you will be shocked. I said, “listen! This guy preaching is rich.” Yet my account never had #1,000 but I knew what God said. Church Gist. That time, I will tell people and say, “seat down, take your seat well.” I said take your seat well otherwise, you will not have seat. We were not less than 200 people. I said if you don’t take your seat in this Church, they will usher you in. You that is an usher, other people will usher you in. And today, there are some ushers who left, came back and they ushered them in. I didn’t change my language, I said I am rich. I didn’t have 10,000 in my account, I said I will train people in billions. I am okay now, now I talk small small. That time, sometimes people will come and say, Sir don’t talk like that. I said I will give cars, I didn’t have one car, I only had LEG2. Find out LEG2, that was my account number then. Some of you have it is that not so? God will change you from there to cars!
Romans 4:18. That time there was no Bible so Abraham was acting on what God said. Now you have what is written.
- Whatever God has written concerning you, it must come to pass right now.
- I don’t care what you are going through, God will turn your story in the name of Jesus.
Sarah’s case was closed medically. Matthew 24:35. If God says you will be something, relax; if it means changing policy, God will change it. Church Gist. I will tell you one man who he did it – Joseph. When God speaks, He speaks according to His size. He does not work by economic policies, He works by who He is. He does not work by your budget, He works by Heaven’s budget.
- Today, anyone who believes, God is going to work in your life!
Abraham did not doubt what God said but was strong in faith. Lift your right hand and say, “God, there’s nothing you have said concerning me that you will not do. As I praise you today in faith, I know it will come to pass!” All you need to do is to praise God without doubting if God said so. You can’t believe the Word of God and be depressed because faith is spiritual assurance of your desired end. If you see anybody depressed, he has no faith in what God has said. Church Gist. When you have faith you don’t see what you are going through, you see where you are going to. You’re sipping garri, you are seeing salad. You’re sleeping on the floor, you are seeing a mega bed. You’re entering motor where the water is leaking, you are seeing a limousine. That is why even in prison, Joseph could not be depressed. In prison he was too sure that he will get to the throne. Joseph never said, “God, why will I now be thrown into prison.” Joseph said, you meant it for evil, I’m going to get to the palace. You know why you are passing through all those persecutions? Persecution is the last step to promotion. Church Gist. You know why people are abusing you and castigating you? It is because your promotion is coming. They are mocking you because God is about to make you. Depression takes people down while joy lifts people up, make your choice. Paul was so confident in the assurance of God’s Word in the midst of a ship wreck he said, Acts 27:25. Has God told you anything? Relax! One minute is too much. He will step in even when you think every hope is lost. - Today, God will step in someone’s life!
Joy is evidence of faith; a man and a woman of faith are joyful even before the Word becomes a reality in his/her life. It is because he/she knows that rejoicing now is what will make the promise come to pass.
Those who see ahead, they don’t allow present circumstance weigh them down. You may be eating food without meat inside, very soon you will give food to people. Church Gist. You may not even have transport to go back home, but very soon you will buy cars for people. You look at your house help and say, “don’t trek home, carry that Camry.” You’ve heard that testimony before: I was preaching in Owerri, Imo state Nigeria, went for a crusade 2018, a young boy said he came for the crusade and heard me speaking God’s Word, when he was leaving I told him not to leave until the end of the service. And while he was leaving, on his way home where he was leaving, it was water logged. So he had to fold his trousers and walk inside the water to his house. That will tell you the environment, environment where you have water logged is a ghetto. True? By a year after, 2019, he has bought 6 cars. He shared the testimony when we went to Owerri. When God speaks, He speaks according to His size. In case you are living in a ghetto, you will soon live in a palace. Church Gist. May be you came to Church selling in a market where you don’t even have hope, there’s hope. After this praise, something good will happen to someone.
1 Peter 1:7-8. No matter what happened, God’s promise of making all things possible for you this year will be a reality in your life. When you are strong in faith, you will be strong in PRAISE. You will not be bordered about what is happening, you will be bordered about what is written. One thing with praise is that you don’t see your present circumstances, you see what is written and that stirs you to praise God. Church Gist. When you praise God in that kind of circumstance with faith, God steps in to turn things around. How can Abraham be praising God when he had no child, do you know what it means? And then God said, you did that? Isaac! You know there are children and there are childrens (if children has plural). Just imagine me now, I am your child, I am more than 50 children. True? Isaac was like that, one is one.
I was praying for a family then one of them a medical doctor said, “Sir, if you flog our family, nobody go fit bring one million.” And there are families, one man will just put hand in his pocket and say how much is the problem? Solves everybody’s problem. Which one do you want? Isaac blessing does not necessarily mean children, it can be a job that when you get the job all the years you lost, you won’t even remember them.
- God will give you an Isaac blessing, testimony in the name of Jesus!
Don’t allow what you are passing through to affect you, keep rejoicing! Say, “I will keep rejoicing, no matter what is happening my faith is strong. The God I serve who is ever faithful to His Word will turn things around in the name of Jesus!”
A young man was to marry and the father of the girl asked, said this pastor, which type of pastor is he? Is it the Oyedepo and David Ibiyeomie their type? I go gree my daughter but if na the other type, I no go gree. When the young man was talking, we were laughing but funny enough, the young man happens to be a pastor in this ministry. Church Gist. So the young man said, Sir, na Ibiyeomie I dey work with. The father said, if na that type, no problem. So forget where you are are. When we started here, some people mocked me, even some relations of mine. You know there’s a way they mock you, you can’t carry your feet and go away.
Oyedepo said he was preaching one day and somebody looked at him and said, “Some people said they will buy aircraft when it’s bettle they are using.” Church Gist. He said the man mocked him because he was preaching prosperity. But the man could not change his tyre when he (Oyedepo) has bought a second aircraft. He (Oyedepo) gave him money to change tyre. - I don’t care who is mocking you, after this praise service, they will eat on your table!
