WHAT IS IN THAT FOR ME?
Proverbs 11:30. Proverbs 3:35. “The wise shall inherit Glory”, Proverbs 3:35. Now, it now landed something so outstanding in Daniel 12:3. Soul winning makes stars. Whether engaging on the prayer altar to see souls saved or getting out on the streets witnessing to them or getting out on the streets compelling them to come to Jesus who will save them, which ever way, any investment in soul winning touches the heart of God. Church Gist. Souls are the very heartbeat of God, you must come awake to this reality.
- Spiritual stewardship is Kingdom advancement prayer. Matthew 6:9-10. Before your needs, “thy Kingdom come”. Matthew 6:33. Church Gist. Imagine every member praying that prayer before every service, “Lord, let your Kingdom come down in our services today, let your great Hand rest upon our Pastor, let your Word flow unusually today, let it come along conviction, bringing sinners to Christ, let it come along with fire, burning off the chaff in everyone’s life, preparing everyone for Heaven and creating a platform for triumph for everybody”. You’re praying that prayer from the depth of your heart, there are many of your own prayer point that you may not need to mention anymore, they’re simply added to you. Church Gist. That shall be your experience, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Somebody is also there that is helping to see people get across to Church, somebody is in need, you’re part of helping them out – these are all called spiritual stewardship and I pray that no one here will miss out of it.
Why is it so important?
Galatians 6:7-9. So, we reap life from spiritual investment. We don’t just reap things, we reap life, not just life, life everlasting. Look at Abraham’s life for instance, it’s still speaking today. Church Gist. A heavy spiritual investor, he stood there to intercede for Sodom and Gomorrah before the Lord, Genesis 18:22-33. He was pleading, he was a heavyweight spiritual investor, till the point that he took his own son to go and ‘worship’, Genesis 22:5 and there he came under a sworn blessing, Genesis 22:16. Church Gist. Until now, his seeds are still possessing the gates of their enemy.
- My prayer is that you’ll give spiritual stewardship a priority place in your life and that will keep you fit for the coming of the King. That will fulfill your destiny in grand style in the Name of Jesus Christ. We are all going back to our various places to be a part of the move of God there. God is moving in every church, in every ministry today; may you be a part of the move of God in that church to which you belong, in the name of Jesus.
It’s great to sow financial seeds, there’s nothing wrong with that, I mean, it’s required to advance the Kingdom of God but your real seed that adds eternal value to your life is your spiritual investment. Church Gist. Please, commit to it.
Let me share my small testimony here. In 1973, I had the privilege to be in a village as a relief teacher, it was a vacation time, and then, I asked the fellows I met there, “what church is in this village?”, They said, “None”, I said, “not even Catholic?” I said that because Catholic was everywhere, they said, “None”. Church Gist. And I knelt down and said, “Jesus, see that I don’t leave this village the way I met it, let your name be planted here”. “Are you a Pastor?”, “No”. “You have a dream to be a Pastor?” “Never”, but I have a heart for Jesus. I was there for 71 days, 72nd day was my departure time, Jesus built a Church for himself in 40 days. I didn’t speak the language of the people but my heart was after them. Church Gist. I was going from house to house. I had a strategy; the same time they’ll go to mosque was the same time I’ll visit their families. I was coming to pray for them, and because teachers were so important then, they were all gathered in their various houses, under their hut and I’ll lead to Christ in prayers because by talking to them, they’ll argue with me, you don’t argue with prayer, so they’ll be saying after me what brings salvation to them.
Now, watch what happened sir, within 40 days, God built us a grass stuff, one little hut like that and it’ll take about 100 people. Church Gist. The last day, the oldest man was told by my interpreter who was also a believer but didn’t know what to do when he got there, he said, “the light you brought to our village”, they gave me a lantern as a gift, bush lamp, they said, “we understand that wherever the gospel gets into, civilization gets in there, thank you foe bringing civilization to our village. Silver and gold, have we not, but this is what we have; the light you have brought to this village, let it shine round the world”. Church Gist. I got that 1973 for hunting after souls, I found myself given a prophetic lantern, that is by grace today, shining in pecks and parts of the world.
Hunting after souls creates a future. You don’t need to be a big name, a big woman, a big man, just have a heart for God and go after what touches his heart. You can’t have a heart for God and not make your marks on earth. Church Gist. I know soul winning makes stars, the Bible says so.
I know many apostles may rise from this message today as you commit yourself genuinely in the places where you are. Commit yourself genuinely to the things of the Kingdom and things will keep opening up for you supernaturally.
- My prayer again is that each of us will have a testimony to share. From the events of this convention, everyone shall have a testimony to share. Church Gist. From the powerful messages that have gone ahead of this time, the one that will come after this, each one will have a story to tell, in the name of Jesus.
Nothing is as great as serving God. We’re going to sing that song, “It’s a great thing to serve”, key to it and then reposition yourself for it on a higher scale. It shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.
- No one shall be an idle hand in the church anymore, no one shall be a ‘sit-tight’ congregant anymore, in the name of Jesus Christ.
🎶 It is a great thing to serve the Lord 🎶
Prayers: Ask God for fresh grace to commit to Kingdom advancement endeavours, fresh grace to commit to the great commission. In Jesus’precious name we have prayed.
Just before I take my seat, I’m overly excited to be part of this convention and I know that this ministry is yet changing levels. The reason why you can’t destroy anything God is building, when you’re committed to soul winning, you secure God’s ever abiding presence Mathew 28:19-20. Church Gist. God is behind this ministry, and as you too commit yourself to advancing His Kingdom, you’ll enjoy His ever abiding presence, that makes you unbeatable in the battles of life. That is one plus from this soul winning addiction. It secures for us, God’s ever abiding presence.
PRAYERS
We have quite a number of array of Ministers here. We received a baton from some fellows that Jesus put ahead of us and we must have to pass it on to those who are coming but no one is ever partaker of a grace he does not crave for. Church Gist. John came forth in spirit and power of Elijah and we saw him roaring at Jordan. Malachi 4:6. Every new plant is from the seed of the old. No new generation can emerge without a connectivity to the previous one. At one level or another, all of us who are here are beneficiaries of certain graces from those that went ahead and God’s agenda is that one generation will pass it on to another and declaring His mighty works, so, it has to come from one to another.
- Grace to value the grace of the ones ahead of us; may we all receive it.
Mathew 5:5. I craved for wisdom, I prayed, I prayed my heart out, and the Lord said to me, “I will not have you go like others have gone, I will have hands laid on you, and you shall be filled with the spirit of wisdom”. I said, “who will lay these hands on me?” He said, “my servant, Adeboye, I’ll have him lay hands on you”. I heard him directly. Church Gist. That’s how God connects the new to the old.
I was in Tulsa (Oklahoma) with a heart, “whatever was in Hagin that made Hagin, I want it”, I’ve been following him for 10 years and then suddenly, something landed, “my son, David, the baton has been passed over to you”. Church Gist. There’s always a passage of baton from one generation to another but we have a generation today that is so full of everything that they know everything and don’t need to draw anything from anywhere, it’s a risk, a deadly risk.
- In the name of Jesus, whatever patriarch God has placed ahead of any of us, as you identify, grace to connect for the flow, receive it right now.
I’ve read Kenneth Copeland books 3 times, but I knew I’ve not found what he found, so on the third day, light broke out from heaven, I knew when it did, the light is shining today. My friend, there are those ahead of us. Jeremiah 6:16. Church Gist. There’s always a path. Every generation is an improvement on the previous one that leads the way forward. You can’t be improvement on the one you’re not connected. You’re an improvement only the one you’re connected to.
- Fatherhood is being restored to the body of Christ. Sonship is being restored to the body of Christ.
Malachi 4:6b. The moment you find people coming up without a root, it’s a curse. They can’t stand the waves, they can’t stand the storms. Church Gist. Connect, and it becomes yours. ’76, I encountered T. L. Osbourne and the burning fire of evangelism. I started holding crusades since ’76, raw crusades, I wasn’t called to ministry. Church Gist. There’s always something from somewhere that ignites fire inside someone.
- I pray that no one here will miss that agenda of heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ.
- Say with me, “I’m not ashamed of the Gospel”.
Yonggi Cho has gone to heaven now but I was his stooge, I was his student since ’85, I was searching, I was reading, I was studying, I was looking out for. As late as 2011, we still bought 400 copies of Building Successful Home Cells’, distributed among our Pastors and then our cell system erupted. Church Gist. There’s something coming from somewhere that is leading the way forward – may we never miss out of that.
- my prayer is that every grace that has landed in this nation shall not draw back to Heaven. People will multiply that grace. They’ll see multiplied result as a result, in the name of Jesus.
Once again, Congratulations my covenant friend and your darling wife, the entire Church family for this event, greater days surely lie ahead. You have not seen anything yet.
